Hi,
The reason I've popped in today is to ask a few questions and get some advice about dipping my toes in the sims creating CC pool lol. Basically I love fantasy skintones but I really want to try to make my own skintone slider ~ just the slider though, not actually making a skin/texture. I just want to make a coloured slider that will overlay my current default replacement. Here's the steps that I've tried so far.
1. Download all the files from C_Mar.
2. Opened up the "default" folder and edited the Tone Ramp Img dds file and applied my gradient.
3. edited the Tone Ramp png file and added my name so people will know if my skintone is in there game (*I hate it when creators leave the slider blank, I never know what I'm using or who made it. anyhoo)
4. put the dds file, the png file and the "default" skin file all in one folder.
5 opened S3PE and chose new, import from file and added the 3 files then clicked save.
I am just about to go in game and see if it's worked. If anyone can provide any help/insight into making custom skintone sliders then it'd be appreciated only thing is remember I am a total n00b when it comes to the creation of CC, Oh I could teach a couple of technophobes how to download, install and play but creating is an entirely new concept to me so just throw whatever you want at me. Also If anyone want's to test them for me I'd be elated XD but don't blame me if your game goofs up >.<
