Okay so I remember there was an amazing thread on ABJDs before and I loved coming here to take a look at it but it seemed to die a death last June so I didn't really want to necro it :(

Who here collects ABJDs or is considering it? Let's see your dolls, the world they live in or even just the dolls you really want!

The best way is online order usually. I know that Luts, Soom and Volks (some of the main companies) do worldwide orders :)

Yeah, I already searched for it in the net. :) their price are so costly :faceslap: hahaha. But I want one. (gonna save now) I remember how I dress my barbie dolls when I was young (but i'm not that yet old. :p) I see my sims wit your dolls. hahaha. :D

The one below is cross, he has a Zack Fair head and I forget what his body is but :cough: he is not cheap by any means. Crappy pic I apologize, Cross is 70 cm tall, and HEAVY!

I made my mistake of taking cross on a plane. All fine and dandy cept XD dead doll weight and carrying a carry on doesn't not help. though he had a bit of trouble going from San Fran. But I am surprised they let me carry him. Tempted to try to make a kid carrier so I can put L in in and not have to worry abotu juggling the two at tiems. Fun note L's waist size is literaly the same width round as Cross' thigh. For you a little confused, L wears Ken clothes, picture a doll with a thigh with the same waist size as Ken.

XD Cross has a higly detailed body, wish I could find my battery charger for my camera. I've had woman try to molester him, but yeah when your doll reaches four digits you don't let strangers touch. (which in the end means poor-poor L)

PS: Love your Sunhei.

I don't own any ABJDs yet, but I'm seriously concidering getting Tania & Tatiana from Iplehouse. But first I need to overcome my fear of online transactions, he he. I remember from the old thread that a girl bought a doll and it just never arrived. The postal system lost it on the way.

Lovely dolls, everyone! (I can't get over how big some of them are. 70cm means the doll will probably reach up to an Irish Wolfhound's shoulder!)

Thank you! Tinies have always been a little bit safer for me. Someday I want to get a Minifee (Shushu or Rheia I think) but I don't think I could ever go bigger than that.

How to make a 70cm BJD look small. TigerAnne if you ever took a flight XD that is a southwest airline bagage tag on his arm. Yes, even carrying him he needed a tag.

The small ones are really cute, but i can't imagine how you are able to sleep with a 70 cm tall doll in your room, I'm just creeped out by the thought.

Okay you can find custom house dolls now under ai dolls www.aidolls.net if I am not mistaken. There you can find cheaper dolls, and maybe fofill your dream of owning a BJD. XD but good luck if your dream is owning a name brand BJD. FYI for you money conscious L is a and ai doll he stands about a foot tall I forget the direct inches (technically cm), he can wear Ken clothes. Well the shirts fit fine, but the pants are starting to squeeze now that I guess Barbie put Ken on a diet.

No, not a problem with sleeping with Cross in the room, matter of fact L is a lot more creepy.

Sorry for bringing this thread from the dead but I found a site that had cheap BJDs mintoncardinc.com (only-doll is so far the cheapest) Though it's probably going to run you about 200 US dollars unless you know someone with a skill to do a face up. Well I could probably recomend you to my face up artist. Anyway not trying to sell something just trying to make some dreams come true.

Also I'm wondering if I continue this sewing bidge I am on is there anyone out there with a 27cm, or 70 cm doll that can take some potential projects off my hands. XD Though pretty certian my head bands would be one size fit all. (see vent thread). Just in a crafty mood while feeling under the weather and well, my rooms the size of a closet so having a bajillion things isn't to great. Styled, cut, and thinned all the fur wigs in the house so a bit bored now. XD

Also ideas do help.

One last thing, was wondering if any of you take your dolls to doll meets. i know I occasionally take cross to conventions. key word OCCASIONALLY he weighs a ton. Carried him throw the airport twice and thought my arm would die. L how ever he's my little evil shadow. I'll be going to AM2 in Anaheim with L; Cross maybe on the first day depending if there's anythign to do. If there is nothing to do it'll bring him.
