Orlando Bloom

This is a request from Seldenta. Sorry it took so long to put him up.

So here is my attempt at Orlando Bloom. Please excuse the hair. I am having extreme difficulty trying to find something to suit him.

Critiques welcome.

Nice job so far. The eyes need to be either a bit farther apart or less wide. Raise up the chin too. Bloom has a short square face.

EDIT: Raise up the chin by a very small bit. I should have been more specific on that. :faceslap:

Personally, I would say that your Sim needs slightly different eyebrows and I think maybe the top lip needs to be a little bit wider.

He is absolutely amazing though! Wonderful likeness! :D

Can already see the likeness. I don't know if its the hair or the forehead....maybe both. With the hair there are a lot styles as seen on google to choose from...may something more curly? I agree with the smaller squarer face...that's the fore head again. it looks like it needs to be wider and shorter.

Rennara, I have gone through every style on MySimsBlog and there is nothing that I can see that will suit him. Most of the shorter, curlier styles have very high foreheads. If anyone can help with a link to some hair.

Rennara, these are awesome especially the second one which is perfect. But I can't access it without having Generations. : ( Does anyone know how you can get the hair from games you don't have?

I'll download the first one. Thank you for these and the link - I have all of these sliders and unfortunately there is not one which adjusts the vertical on the forehead.

So, I'm back with a hopefully new and improved Orlando.

Rennara, I downloaded one of the hairs and is awesome except that it sits way too high on his forehead and his low forehead is a trademark of his.

I hate to be the spoilsport about the hair, as I know how difficult it is sometimes to find the right hair for a celeb sim... but I think that hair is a The Sims Medieval conversion, and due to legal reasons/requests from EA, TSM hair conversions for TS3 aren't allowed to be used on MTS. :/
There really should be hairs like that around already, it's such a bummer that there really isn't much variety for male hair, especially when it comes to regular everyday styles!

The facial sculpt is coming along great, it's really natural looking! :) I think the lips could use a bit more fullness, the inner eye corner could be lowered a bit and the outer eye corner could be raised a tad. The eye brows look like they need to be a bit thinner also. He's looking smashing, and I hope that some kind of a solution will come up regarding a hairstyle.

Good work! I think the nose needs to be shorter and mouth moved up so that there is not quite so much space between mouth and nose. Also, the chin is a bit long and, maybe, a bit too "full" or wide. Eyes could possibly be a little closer together.

He's looking great - I myself can't see anything that needs changing, maybe someone else will spot something, but I think he's a great resemblance and very realistic-looking. The change of hairdo was also a big help. Nice work!

I've been watching this thread for quite some time, and I always told myself that I was going to post here but I just never got around to it.

He looks amazing, the spitting image of him.

Although I do think that his eyebrows need to be changed (or edited) they need to be fuller, and a bit fuller at the far tips.

There is something up with his nose septum, it's almost like it's really defined it needs to be curved more.

Other than that I'd just change his skin colour to a bit of a paler colour, he looks amazing and looks just like him.

His forehead is a bit too bg, you should use jonha's head shape sider to fix that

I agree about the forehead being too big. Also, it looks like his ears are too low. RL Bloom's ear tops are about even with the bottom of his eyebrows. Sim Bloom's are about even with the pupil. Profile shot would also be great.

Personally I like the eyebrows as they are, it's very hard to make a Sims look good with very thick eyebrows at the ends without making him look sad. His expression with these ones is just right.
Also, about nose septum: you could use aWT Nose Septum sliders to bring it up a bit. Also, you can try to play with the nose tip, maybe make it a tad bigger to achieve less defined look.
Besides that, he's the best Bloom Sim I've ever seen, perfect balance between realism and Sims world.

Thank you all for your very positive feedback.

Firstly, those are the best eyebrows I could find for him, unless someone wants to make him some custom ones.
Secondly. I really can't get the forehead any smaller as even Johna's head slider does not affect that part of the face, but moves the nose, eyes and eyebrows and distorts it.
Thirdly, the position of a sim's ears has always been a problem as there are no sliders which move only the ears and don't distort the rest of the face.
I have the nose septum sliders so will play around with that aspect, Elexis.
I will do a profile shot, Heaven.

There will always be something that unfortunately due to the restrictions of the EA build you can't get quite right.

I have just installed Late Night and Pets and I can't get the CAS screen where you adjust the skintone to work so at the mo, he is going to have to stay as he (skintone wise) is until I get that sorted out. I think it's an awesomemod compatibility thing.

Thanks again for the feedback. I have started him 3 times to get him to where he is now.
