View Full Version : The saddest thing I have ever seen..

I decided I'd let my 2 sims have an ice-cream cone after a hard day at school + scouts. So after the twin boy finished his, she got one.. and immediately dropped it.
I don't know whether it's because she has the Loser trait, or it's a random chance or what but oh my gosh :'(
Then she started crying and pouting.
Has anyone else encountered this?

Edit: Had a screencap of this but it's too large, and I'm literally out the door so i'll upload it later.
It's sadly adorable.

Sims with the Slob trait have a higher chance of dropping their ice cream and getting Brain Freeze. All Sims have a chance of both as well as the Freezer Burn & Yummy Goodness buff. I had one Sim drop theirs and they just shrugged it off and went along their merry way.

I have a sim with the clumsy trait, she drops the icecream every single time. :faceslap: Poor thing. She doesn't take it badly though, I guess she's gotten used to it by now.

I had the same thing happen to me.. I feel like it was so wrong of me to make my sim so dysfunctional..

In the beginning, I too felt it was wrong to make dysfunctional sims, but not anymore. Somehow they seemed too perfect, now I give them at least one trait that gives them some sort of drawback.

The twins.
I decided that her brother sticks up for her, so gave him the "Mean spirited" trait.

P.S- Hopefully this works.. I'm capped so images take forever to load. :P

Yeah yeah, all of you inconsiderate people are sympathizing with the "Poor sim" but what about the "Poor ice-cream"?! No, it did not want to be dropped! While the self-absorbed sim is bawling their eyes out the poor, innocent ice-cream lies there in it's splattered state being absorbed by the road. It only wanted to be eaten, couldn't you even give it that small mercy?
NO. Along comes a sim who buys the happy ice-cream, so glad it's finally going to be eaten then "whoops" SPLAT it dies a lonely death on the dirty road. :(
And you all laugh at it, you disgust me.

crocobaura: lol at your pic. Your girl reminds me somehow of Fred from Angel.

I've never seen them ever dropping them but one of my guys got a brain-freeze, poor thing.

I guess she does, a little. Totally unintentional, as I don't watch the serial.

Which raises a philosophical question.. Does the ice cream think "Oh no.. Not again?" Much like a bowl of petunia when dropped? Just asking.... :Pint:

The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy

The Book: Curiously the only thing that went through the mind of the bowl of petunias, as it fell, was, 'Oh no, not again.' Many people have speculated that if we knew exactly *why* the bowl of petunias had thought that we would know a lot more about the nature of the universe than we do now.

My sim dropped theirs but just shrugged, the other got brain freeze, and the other fully enjoyed their ie cream!

Must make more dysfunctional sims!
