Random really slow gameplay, and random freezes

I noticed that last night when I started playing my game, that it was really slow and laggy, and stopping every 1-3 seconds then going, then stopping and so on. I added new custom content that day, but I removed all of it and it's still doing this.

Any ideas? :faceslap:

Sims 3 - Freezes and Lags
If you encounter any freezes or lags in gameplay, try the suggestions in Game Help:Intermittent Freezes.
If issue persists, please also answer the questionnaire in the Intermittent Freeze Sticky (http://www.modthesims.info/showthread.php?t=425027)


It would be nice to have people read the stickies and Wikis we prepared, instead of demanding the solutions be served on a silver platter with steps #1 to #65 all laid out nice and pretty. I tend to ignore these kinda threads. Being frustrated is one thing and totally understandable, but being a demanding brat?

You didn't mentioned having gone through all that, so do each suggestion and get the mods and tell us if it helps.
Do a quick test with the suggested mods in a new game (and only those, preferably with new user files), and see if the lags occur immediately.
If you already have the mods, then <shrugs> "You're doing in Rong!" ring a bell? *grumbles about people who don't do searches and then not post information on games and versions and what happens and what has been tried and what status of FIRST troubleshooting step of doing a vanilla configuration is..and then demanding help be provided. URGH!.
