Hello again, creator forum. I *think* I may have finally figured out how to do bumpmaps. i think my biggest problem before was I could not see the results in CTU, only in game which is why I thought it wasn't working.
Anyway, new problems! Yay!
This time I've been recreating my "One Piece Wonders" that I made for TS2 a few years ago. This meant I had to work with bumpmaps again (boo!). I used the afswimsuitonepiece mesh to create it, and made my own bumpmap to go with it, instead of opting for a neutral one.
The normal lines from the previous mesh aren't showing up, thank goodness for that. but I am faced with a new problem, the textures look extremely shiny with darker colours, and it causes them to lose their texture detail. I've atached screenshots to illustrate what I mean.
The swimsuit looks fine with lighter colours and patterns, but darker colours look absolutely awful.
I seem to be a frequenter of these forums ^^;
Any help would be greatly appreciated :)
