Ye Olde Kingdom of Pudding - Medieval Blacksmith - Forge

Greetings, good gentles/ladies. We are The Merrye Makers - a group of eleven creators spanning all disciplines (clothing, lots, objects, etc.) offering for thy downloading pleasure a collection of medieval things most beauteous from Ye Olde Kingdom of Pudding -- otherwise known as "Simdom Pudding".
Blacksmiths
From swords and armor to keys, nails, tools, and fish hooks for anglers, if it was made of metal, Ye Old Kingdom of Pudding blacksmith Ironinto Steel (fourth cousin, thrice removed of King Crumplebottom’s chivalrous Knight Christopher Steel) made it. Ironinto smelted iron ore in a bloomery, a chimney with heat-resistant walls made of stone. Near the bottom tuyères pipes allowed air to enter the furnace; keeping the furnace temperature low enough so that the iron didn’t melt. This produced a spongy mass called a bloom, which Ironinto then consolidated with a hammer. A perfectionist, workaholic Ironinto was afforded the protection of living within the fortified walls of King Crumplebottom’s castle.

Good job! Need to add the "mood" shot to the attached screenshots. Thanks! SimmyRN

The picture provided by Hekate is too small. We need a new picture, take a look at the pictures I did in the weaponry thread. That size is good.

How to do it - stand the forge against a plain wall on a plain floor INSIDE (with a roof). Put some of those lucid lights in the ceiling and take a screenshot using the cameraman mode (you need a sim on the lot). Leave camera man mode and then CAST the forge so each piece is a different checkered pattern (red/white, blue/white etc) . Then back to cameraman mode and screenshot the CASTED version. This shows uv mapping AND recolorable channels in ONE shot. Do not collage - leave the pictures big.

Information shots are very good. Mood shot too - Sim in shoes ( :p .)

Looks like a wrap. If you can try and get the banner style more like the ones we already have that would help (use that many dollars worth of font :) )

Tidied up the formatting a bit and added the "mood" inline shot to the screenshots. Looks great! Also cross referenced the other, related upload in each thread. SimmyRN

As I said in the "big list of everything" thread:

Oh sh .... !!!
I don't know, if this is a serious issue, but I noticed some strange motions, when a sim is using the forge. I only noticed this, because I watched the sims from the other side of the forge a few minutes ago. Looks strange.

I never noticed that before, because I made the screenshots from the other side with a different angle.
I think the forge is broken too.

Normal animation with a base game fireplace:

SimmyRN listet some of hekates borked objects in the "big list of everything" thread.

Leesester - We've discovered quite a bit of "clipping" in the forge animations. I posted a rar and VampireSim posted a video in the Big List of Everything thread. SimmyRN

New forge file is added. I will go take a look at the kitchen items - in the meantime, can SimmyRN please upload this to the moderation queue?
