View Full Version : A problem whith the shape of water planes

I have a problem with the creation of the river in my custom world.
I made several planes to create the effect of the cascade. All the centers of each plane are above the ground and each plane is bounded from all directions. But as you can see below, the shape of planes is still rectangular.

I tried to reopen the world, to restart CAW and to reboot my computer many times. Also I modified the coastline and the relief around the planes. But there was no effect :help:
What else can I do?

Did you save the world with the water planes in it?

Yes, of course. BTW I have a backup without the planes.

Perhaps then the terrain that is cutting the water planes is not large/wide enough to cause the game to clip the planes. I know that I had a similar problem with a waterfall I was making, and I ended up just disguising the corners of the waterplane with rocks. If you look in this post you will see that I had a wider area of terrain than you do to bound the lake to cause the water plane to clip:

Bad news. =( Whatever thanks for the answer.

I think it is possible to make several planes on the same level to form the ww-shaped bound. I hope this will not affect the perfomance.

Try adjusting the width and height of the bounding terrain a little, to see if it makes a difference.
