Rift: Nintendo RP - Open to New Members!

This is a roleplay about Nintendo characters, to put it in a nutshell. Like all other roleplays, all of the rules apply:
1) No Godmodding: This is rude. PM the other player first. So, if you want to use the player's character, then PM them. Or, if you get into a fight with another player, plan the fight out with them first using PM's.
2) We should keep this PG-13, so pretty much anyone can join. So no "adult situations", and when swearing, either find a way around it (darn, dang, shoot, shiz, crap, etc.) or use asterisks (D***, Sh**, etc.). Trust me, we'll all know what you mean. As an aside, hugging and kisses are fine, as long as you PM the other player first (relates to the first rule)
3)If you are not going to be able to play because of personal reasons, whether permanently or temporarily, make sure you post an ((OOC)) here saying your going to be gone, followed by an in-role-play end for your character. So, for example:
"((OOC: Hey guys, I'm not gonna be able to keep up with this, so I'm quitting.))
So-and-so walked quickly and quietly out of camp, hoping not to wake anyone up. They needed to take some time to themselves, and weren't sure if they would come back. Suddenly, there was a flash of light and a loud bang. So-and-so fell down dead, a scorch-mark across their face."
4) (forgot to mention this) Spelling, Punctuation and Grammer is very important. Please try to write so that we know what you're trying to say. As for what person you are writing from, First and Third Person are fine, but Second Person (probably the most rare) is not. The reasoning behind that is that Second Person tells the reader what they have to be imagining, not the character. First Person tells the reader what the character is thinking and Third Person is not written inside the mind of a character.
5) Okay, here's another "law" I forgot to mention, make sure that, even if your character and someone else's character are bitter enemies, you still must remain respectful of the player him/herself. You don't have to like them, or be friends with them (it always ends in tragedy when someone tries to make to people get along), but be respectful of them, and their feelings, as a person.
(Note: If a character hasn't been claimed, then you can use them)

Now, here's the application you need to fill for the character. This one's just an example:
Character Name: Sue (last name is optional)
Age: 14
Species/ Race: Human
Status: This is the spot where you determine what your character is. Is your player a warrior and/or hero? Or villain? Or are they just a regular civilian? Maybe a soldier?
Primary Weapon: Sword
Secondary Weapon (optional): Bo-staff (look it up if you don't know what it is)
Additonal Abilities: can control animals (you can have more than one, but keep in mind that more than four will be considered mild godmodding)
Biography: This is just basic info that should be known about your character. Write enough so that we know what they look like, what their character goal is, and anything else that would be considered relevant (enemies, crush: optional, home, disabilities: blind? or prone to seizures?, personality, etc.)

Now, on to the background story behind Rift itself:

Strange things have been happening in the worlds of Nintendo; Hyrule, Angel Land, etc. (any of the ninty game worlds you want :giggler: ) Odd weather, strange deaths/ attacks and strange lights flashing over the horizon, to name a handful. Unbeknownst to the people of these worlds, what's really going on is much more dark and devious than any could have ever imagined; a diabolical shadow elf by the name of Inona had been plotting to take over her own world, when she accidentally discovered portals to other worlds, worlds un-prepared for her attack. She transported part of her army into the worlds we all know, but this is no ordinary army. This army is made up of undead, known to Inona, and her home-world of Ardintrea as spectres. (Ardin means creative and loyal, while Trea means determined, which demonstrates the characters of those who live there, good or evil) However, Inona failed to realize that her most Arch-Enemy, Alexandria, or Alex for short (or Andy, to those who are very familiar with her) was accidentally transported into Hyrule. It didn't take her long to figure out what was going on, and now she's on a quest to stop her enemy before it's too late. It could be more perilous than she ever imagined. Whose side will you join?

(I've figured out for this to work, I will have to play two people, which I originally didn't want to do. But, seeing as they are both my characters, it won't be as stressful.)

Name: Alexandria
Age: 17
Race: Fae
Status: Warrior/Hero
Primary Weapon: Magic Sword
Secondary Weapon: Not exactly a weapon, but she has a knife hidden in her boot.
Additonal Abilities: Controls lightning, Can turn into a black wolf at will.
Bio: Alex is one of the greater fighters of her world. Fae are faster and stronger than most others, but her abilities have been lowered magically so that she is no faster than a human, no stronger than a human, and her five sense aren't as advanced as usual. Alex is like every other 17 year old, other than the fact that she behaves like she has thirty years under the belt, has three pairs of dragonfly wings and doesn't behave like a girl usually. Her hair is long, jet black, and covers half of her face. The eye that can be seen is emerald green. (pics to come) The reason her eye is covered is because said eye was scratched beyond any repair. She wears a white v-neck shirt that laces up the sides and lace up leather pants, along with knee-high black boots. She can and will kick the crap out of anyone who patronizes her, due to age or gender. Despite her kick-your-butt attitude, she really is caring, and loves kids.

Age: 17
Race: Shadow Elf (like fae, but with slight differences. Not actually an elf)
Status: Villain
Primary Weapon: Blade Staff, a mystical weapon that slightly resembles a scythe.
Secondary Weapon: Prefers to let other fight for her.
Add. Abilities: Controls undead, darkness and can turn into a black dragon.
Bio: She is pure evil. She hates everyone who isn't a fae, or off-branch of fae, and dreams of killing and enslaving the dead bodies of her enemies. Her skin is the color of a corpse and her eyes are black. Her hair is the color of fire, due to a spirit living inside of her. She wears a dark grey velvet dress, decorated with gold and silver coins and belt adorned with gems and human finger bones. She also wears a cape made out of the wings of her fae enemies, that cover her enormous, black bat wings.

Secondary Weapon: Let's her pirate crew fight for her.
Abilities: Nothing special, but is much stronger and respectable than most girls her age.
Bio: Tetra, also known as Dazel, is a tan, blond pirate girl and successor to her mother's gang of pirates. A fearless and even merciless pirate, she seems, at first glance, cold and to care only about herself and treasure, but in reality is quite kind and caring for others. Despite being younger than her crew members, Tetra is still well-respected among them.

Okay so this is my character then.

Name: Neru
Age: Visually 19, chronologically 63.
Race: Demon
Status: Originally evil, is trying to become good, but currently remains in the neutral zone.
Primary Weapon: Kama
Secondary Weapon: Melee combat
Abilities: Very skilled in witchcraft and the dark arts, but prefers to not use it.
Bio: Neru was born in Hyrule, to very poor parents. Neru hated watching her parents struggle, so she began stealing to provide for her family. At the age of 12, Neru began to develop signs of schizophrenia, and her parents decided she was too much too handle, so they abandoned her. Neru traveled aimlessly for years, still stealing food for herself. She met a young man who was extremely into the dark arts, and, completely alone, Neru decided to stay with him. Neru loved him, and he loved Neru, but, loving himself more, used Neru to summon dark spirits, and Neru didn't question it. One day, when he was trying to summon the demoness Lamashtu through Neru, it went horribly wrong, and Neru was dragged to the Outworld. Neru pleaded to be released, however when Lamashtu found out that she had been stealing and was willingly involving herself in the dark arts, she damned Neru's soul, and Neru was tortured for 44 years (she was 19 when she "died"), and became extremely involved in demonic activities, no longer wishing to return to her own world. However, when Lamashtu decided Neru had suffered enough, she decided to give Neru a chance, and transferred her soul from her damaged, bloody and scarred body to a practically identical body, and allowed Neru to return to Earth, with the disadvantage of not being able to get wet. Water = BAD BAD BAD. Neru, after seeing her world again, realized she wanted to come back, and vowed to release her soul, and the soul of others that were unwillingly brought to the Outworld. With every evil soul she kills, she gets closer to freeing herself and others, and will do anything to be released from this purgatory. However her tsundere personality makes things a little difficult, Neru is absolutely merciless to people that are mean to her, but adores and cherishes people who help her.

EDIT: In case you don't want to read that long thing, here's a basic personality for here; she's a tsundere (is rude to people she wants to be friends with, and SUPER DUPER mean to people she's romantically attracted to), she has trust issues, though she's tough, she still is frightened very easily (like an an abused puppy) and absolutely hates fighting, even though she knows she has to kill, and she is on Alex's side. She has a very short temper, but is overall a very nice, easy-going person, but only if she knows you and you have shown her that you love and trust her. She pushes people away but hates being alone. Deep down she just wants to be loved!

Name: Navi (Real name unrevealed, as it holds power over her)

Age: Time means nothing to a fairy, but she is newer than most. (This is why she hadn't been assigned yet.)

Race: Fairy (who looks like a glowing blue ball with glowing dragonfly wings); child of the Great Deku Tree.

Status: Hero

Primary weapon: Pick someone to help with accuracy and hide behind them. (often Link)

Secondary weapon: Magic, usually along the lines of confusing an enemy, healing the person who was just fighting for her, or being so annoying that the enemy forgets to pay attention to the -real- dangers. She can protect herself fairly well, although it takes time to build a shield against dark magic. But she cannot directly take a life, or even fight on her own.

Abilities:
She doesn't have any legs, so her only means of locomotion is flying. (Although there is an argument for short-distance teleportation, considering that when Link gets too far ahead she's suddenly there again.) Most of the time this makes no difference, as her flying speed is about the same as walking/running speed. It would simply make it a lot easier for her to get up and down things, or across a pit or a canyon.

Fairy Magic: She can increase someone's accuracy in combat. She can also help them outside of combat by enhancing their vision and (to a lesser extent) some physical abilities. (z targeting). She can build protective shields around herself, but they take time. (This is what she was doing during the first battle with Gannondorf. ) Once built, they no longer count as an active power, and will last until dropped or depleted. Lesser fairies can heal others, so I'm giving her the ability to heal one person once each game day as part of her "secondary weapon." I'm also giving her some skill with illusions in case she is ever alone and in combat, as she is not able to fight directly. Illusions count as an active power as long as they are up, so she can only do one illusion at a time, and cannot use any other magical power while maintaining an illusion. They are also tiring, so she prefers to hover in one spot or be carried while maintaining one. If she is moving (and not being carried), her illusions are less believable. They do no direct damage, although if someone who believes the illusion takes illusionary damage they can believe they are injured until they have time to stop and take care of their "injury". If they think they have taken fatal damage, they pass out for a short time. And if they don't believe the illusion at all, it's just a mask over whatever was really there. Whether or not the illusion is believed depends on the circumstances. Most people would not believe a bucket in the sky dumping gold coins that vanish when they hit the ground, but they might believe a fallen tree in a forest that just happens to have fallen across a small river bed, or that someone who is sitting still and making no noise really isn't there. Note that "One illusion" can have multiple parts, but as the complexity grows the believability is diminished. Her illusions do cover all senses, including sound and odor. One favorite trick is to create a momentary smell of a dead skunk or other similar obnoxious odor. (And if they seem to like it; try roses next!) Illusionary light still brightens things up for those who are aware of it, but if you are asleep it won't wake you up the same way that a real light would. And don't try crossing the river on that illusion of a fallen tree.

Biography: She was assigned by the Great Deku Tree to be a companion and adviser to Link. At first she thought he was a waste of space, but she eventually began to grow fond of him. Eventually it became more than fondness. She realized that she was beginning to fall in love with him, and that this was wrong on a number of counts. He was the wrong species; he was falling in love with Zelda; he considered her as just a "best friend", and a love affair between a mortal and an immortal always ends in tragedy. She tried to leave him, but couldn't stay away, either. She's a bit jealous of Zelda, but understands that it's not going to work between her and Link so she hopes he never figures out that she would really like to be more than just his best friend. She also hopes she can find someone else, so that "best friend" doesn't hurt quite so much.

Inona's POV:
I walked slowly over to a bowl, filled with liquid gold. I waved my hands, and my four guards backed out of the room. The door closed with a muffled thump and the light died; a reflection off of the surface of the gold lit up my face. Smiling, I pulled one of the many silver coins off of my dress and dropped it into the bowl. As the gold rippled, a vision appeared. Another castle, in another place. Nowhere on Ardintrea. My smile grew wider, and I tapped the water with my middle finger. A girl's face appeared on the surface; I hissed angrily. Alex; that hideous renegade and so-called vigilante was going to try and stop me. I slammed my fist down onto the pedestal. The image faded as the gold sloshed in the bowl. Storming to the door, I swung my cloak over my shoulders again.
"Is it ready?"
"Almost, Your Highness," said the lowly sorceror, Abredoce. I grabbed the front of his robe, and pulled him up to look me in the eye.
"Finish it..."

Alex's POV:
I pulled my arms and wings into my sides, and dived steeply. Times like this kept me from going insane. I had been lucky to get away from my sisters, without them either begging to join or trying to stop me. I landed neatly and strolled through the forest. Sunlight dappled the forest floor and dust and dead leaves swirled around playfully. A twig cracked behind me, and I spun around; a squirrel looked me in the eye, before it scurried off, flicking it's tail. I sat down on a large rock nearby and drew my sword; pulling a knife out of my boot, I ran it along the edge slowly, carefully. Today seemed like it would be a good day.

"It's cold, I'm bored, and you're the only person I can talk to." Neru said to her kitten, Bonehilda. ((named after the TS1 maid!)) They were walking through Hyrule, trying to find someone, anyone, and they were freaking out. Neru remember Lamatshu's message: "You have limited time. You cannot trust anyone. You are doing this for you. Do not forget that these people treated you like an animal!" Was she right? There was a rustling sound in the bushes. "Who's there?!" she yelled, trying to sound tough. Silence. "Are you still there?" Silence. "Come out, b*tch!" Rustle, rustle, rustle. Neru put her kitten in the little waist pack on her side, and took her Kama from behind her back. "I'm warning you..." she said, swinging the Kama.

Inona's POV:
"Your Highness! Your Highness! It is finished," said Abredoce, flanked by two guards.
I turned slowly from the scrolls I was studying. He led me to the great room. Ten crystals formed a ring around a giant marble spire.
"Good. Your service deserves rewarding," I said coolly. "Kill him."
I turned towards the spire, which started to glow. As I walked slowly into the portal, his screams were cut off. I smiled as the rift closed around me.

Alex's POV:
I stood up abruptly. Something was very wrong. I sheathed my sword and flew up over the trees. The sky had filled with black clouds, boiling and churning in the powerful winds. The central point was the top-most tower of Inona's castle. Of course. A giant beam of light shot up out of the castle, and through the clouds.
"D***," I said slowly.

"What's it to you?!" Neru asked, trying to sound even tougher. She felt the knife getting closer to her throat. "OKAY!" she yelled, her voice cracking. "I have no business with you whatsoever, I have done nothing to you, and as far as I know, you have done nothing to me, however you are holding a knife to my throat right now, and that does make me hate you. So put your little knife down, and let my return to doing my job, okay sweetie?" Neru said, with a fake sweetness in her voice. The girl didn't do anything. "HEY! SHE'S DOWN THERE!" Neru and the girl looked up. Citizens formed an angry mob, wielding pitchforks, torches, stones, a few even had knives. Neru tightened her grip on her Kama, but the girl shot her an icy stare. "What? I'm not going to do anything to you. It's these freaks I'm not letting live. Neru pushed the girl away, and started towards the mob. That's when she realized there was a pretty wide stream in between them. She had come from the other side, she didn't even notice a stream. She remembered Lamatshu's warning; Touch water, and you never get another chance. She panicked as the mob came closer. She tried to count how many people there were, it looked about 20. She needed to kill 100 pure evil souls. And every good soul brought her down one, how was she to know if they're good or not? What if this girl is evil? Neru looked around, panicking, backing up slightly. "So... You got a plan?"

"Eh!" Neru yelled, as she nearly fell into the stream. She was lifted up by a strange civilian. "You wreak of the DEAD." He said, lifting her by her shirt with one hand. "Same goes for you." she said as she spit into his eye. There were gasped all around. "You DARE challenge me?! Hah! Foolish girl!" He set her down, rather roughly, but it was better than landing in the stream. The man stepped over her, and pulled his fast back, prepared to punch her in the face. She kicked him in the crotch, got up, and ran like hell. She came to the stream, saw them running behind her, was pelted by a few rocks. She backed up, ran, and jumped. "Holy hell!" she yelled, once she realized she had made it over. The civilians were crawling through the stream, as she continued to run. And then she saw that girl, the same girl that had threatened to kill her, the same girl that gave her away to a crazy mob. She had to be evil. "Hey b*tch!" Neru yelled, swinging her Kama.

The girl seemed not at all put off by Neru's rudeness, instead she just explained what was going on. "Oh.... well... I'm Neru." she said. "Well, what are you waiting for; an engraved invitation edged in platinum? Spit it out!" Sugar said as she smacked her head. "I was dragged to the Outworld 44 years ago, and was recently granted to come back to Earth and try to gain my freedom. But what's it to you?" Sugar payed no attention to the girl's rude reply, instead she just released her companions, Willow and Ivy.

There was a hissing sound coming from Neru's pocket, and Neru remembered Bonehilda was still in there. She gently took the kitten out. "This is Bonehilda." she said quietly. Bonehilda hissed, but Neru couldn't tell if she was hissing at Willow, Ivy, Sugar, or just the fact that Neru fell on her earlier.

Neru set her cat by a small stream and let her drink from it, but kept herself at a distance. There was no way she was going to get wet. The kitten finished drinking, and came running up to Neru, trying to lick her face. "NO!" Neru shouted, as she grabbed the kitten, grabbed a small cloth from her pocket, and wiped the water completely from the kitten's face, then let it crawl all over her.

Bonehilda ran playfully to Willow and Ivy, and Neru panicked. She didn't know if they were wild, or if this so-called "Sugar" was to be trusted, so she grabbed her kitten and turned around, still sitting on the ground. She pulled a locket from inside her shirt, containing pictures of a boy she had met earlier that day, whom she had immediately fallen in love with. Of course he didn't know that - he didn't even know she had pictures of him. She rubbed the locket and closed her eyes. "I'm never going to get out of here," she sighed. "How the hell am I supposed to know who's evil and who's not?!"

There was a glow in the distance, along with shouting. "Holy hell." Neru said, as she put the locket back in her shirt, the kitten back in her pocket, and stood up. The civilians were returning, this time approx. 30 or so of them. "Got a better plan than to sacrifice the demon girl?"

Navi flitted around the Temple of Time playing a game of "What If?"

What if I became like he is?

I would need to learn things like how to eat. And how to sleep. And how to walk. And how to remember that I can't fly. I'm sure he would help, but that wouldn't be a very good start for a romance.

What if he became a fairy?

He would be green. He likes green. And he would need to learn how to be a fairy, and it wouldn't change his feelings for Zelda, and he would be unhappy because he isn't what he was meant to be. That is no good, either.

What if I had never met him?

Well, he did defeat Gannondorf alone in that first battle... But that was before he turned into GannonPork and became even stronger. Link might have lost the second time without my help...

What if I met someone else?

Given the ratio of males to females, the chances of meeting a male fairy are rather slim. And one who isn't a fairy would just pose the same problem all over again.

Suddenly the chamber began to glow.

Am I dying? she asked without fear. -Almost- hopefully.

There was a sensation of gentle laughter. "No. You are being asked to perform your duties as a messenger. A great danger is approaching Hyrule. It threatens all worlds. You must find the Hero and gain allies to stop this evil before it consumes everything! Go! Be what you were meant to be!"

A map appeared, and several spots lit up.

Navi brightened. I can go find Link again!

She flew out of the Temple of Time to the first place that had brightened on the map. "Hey! Listen!" She exclaimed. Then she faltered. That wasn't Link down there! At least neither of them were Zelda. But they looked like they were in trouble with an angry mob. They must be some of the allies she was to find. Well, Navi was here now, so she had better help them, and then see about finding Link with them afterward.

"They have already seen you, so invisibility now wouldn't work well. But if you can find a place to hide I can make it look like you kept running."

She studied the area. "Those bushes over there look good."

Neru heard something fly into the bushes. "HOLY HELL!" she exclaimed. "Did you see that?!" she asked Sugar. Neru made her way towards the bushes then stopped, remembering the mob behind her. She never did well under pressure, and just started freaking out. "Did it leave?" Neru cautiously tried to peek inside the bush.

"GRAB THEM!" the angry mob shouted, grabbing Neru and Sugar, and putting their arms behind their backs. "HHHHHHEEEEEELLLLPPPPPPP!!!!!!!!! HELP HELP HELP HELP HELP HEEEEELPPPPPPPP!!"

The so called "Sugar" pointed a knife at her captor, and, while Neru's captor was a smaller man, she kicked him in the crotch and ran off, surprisingly with nobody following her. But people had a feeling she would be back...

Inona's POV:
I awoke, lying on the ground, deep within a forest. Not where I wanted to end up, nowhere close, but it would do for now. The next thing I noticed was that I appeared to have some sort of head-cold. I couldn't smell as well. Needless to say, that would hold me back. I hadn't been planning on bringing in guards, at least not so early. Appearances were very necessary, and guards, especially guards such as mine, would be a very bad idea for image. On the other hand, no sense of smell meant that I wouldn't be able to avoid enemies, or to find my way to civilization.

Alex's POV:
I pulled my hood over my head before I went into the city. My wanted posters were everywhere, and I simply had no time to fix my facial features. I slipped through crowds of fae, heading to buy and sell wares at the market. Of course, human's wouldn't be wandering through here now. Distinctive smell, added to undead guards who can bite your arm off in three seconds made for a very dangerous place for anything that wasn't fae. Or outlaws that weren't as stealthy as me, or my sisters. After about an hour of pushing through crowds, I had reached the enormous, white marble palace that made up the center of the city. No guards up front; that alone was a bad sign. Being able to push open the huge, oaken door without being shot by arrows was even worse. The front room was empty, besides a dead body and some sort of strange, glowing artifact. Marble and crystal. I walked towards it slowly, watching it glow faintly.

Navi dropped into the bushes and waited. The two seemed to be dealing with the crowd instead of hiding. Well, she could watch and make sure she was right before trying to approach them again.
Suddenly two creatures came over and started investigating the bushes where she was. They were communicating with each other, but at first it seemed as though they were speaking two different languages. Then she realized that it was similar to certain fairy languages, where the sound itself is unimportant, it is the pattern and inflections that carry the meaning.
One was telling the other "I don't think it's a Pokemon, either. But I never saw anything like it. It should be right about here."
She came out of hiding. "I'm a fairy. I'm called Navi. I was looking for help"
"Our trainer can help! She likes people like us! She helps lots of Pokemon, and she would probably help fairies too!"
"I hope so," Navi said. "There is a danger coming to this world, and we need people to help protect it."
"She's right over there. Can you speak human? We might be able to help you talk to her if you can't."
Navi thanked them and assured them that she was quite able to speak human, and it was actually this language that she was a bit unfamiliar with.
The crowd seemed to be dispersing, so Navi flew over. She saw one of the two girls that she had first thought might be allies, and decided to hope that this was the "trainer" that the two creatures were talking about. She was about to say hello when the girl bumped into her.
"Who are you" the girl asked.
"I am called Navi. I hope you are the one that those two were calling their trainer? I have been sent because there is a danger that is approaching this world which threatens all worlds, and I need to find the Hero and some allies to stop it before it consumes everything. This was one of the places that it was indicated that I should look."

Alex's POV:
I walked slowly towards the artifact. All of my instinct screamed at me to stop, that this was a trap. That hadn't stopped me before. I touched it slowly, and with a rumble and an enormous flash of light, I was sucked into a vortex. As I fell through the endless tunnel, I fell unconscious, dead to the world.

Neru returned to the grassy area, where the mob had vanished. She saw a ball of blue that appeared to be playing with Sugar's Pokemon. But she didn't see Sugar! Did this fairy kill her? She thought. Maybe this fairy is... evil? Thoughts rushed through her head. Say she is evil, does killing a fairy count? I can't remember if Lamatshu said they HAD to be human... Neru peeked at the fairy from behind the bushes, but it was too late. She had been spotted.

"So... uh, did you, um y'know... kill that girl?" Neru asked, slowly reaching for the Kama attached to her back.

The girl that the two creatures were calling their trainer was obviously upset by Navi's announcement that she was looking for people to help save the world. She muttered something about this being a trap and having her own problems to deal with, and then ran off. The two creatures were apologetic.
"Maybe she will be back" the feline looking one said. "Saving the world is a scary thought."
"I hope so", Navi said as she picked up an odd red and white ball that the girl had dropped. "What is this?"
'It's a Pokeball. It keeps you inside it when you aren't out. It's not too bad in there, but some Pokemon don't like it."
Navi was intrigued. "How do you get in?"
The two looked at each other. "You just do. It calls you in and you go."
The serpentine one suddenly added "Not the first time. The first time it has to get used to you. It has to be closer."
Can you get out by yourself? Navi asked.
"Yes, but you need to learn how. There is a release somewhere in there. You sometimes see it when you are called out."

This sounds handy once I learn how to use it! Navi thought. Suddenly she noticed the demon-looking girl was back and hiding in the bushes. When she realized that she had been seen, the other girl came out.

"So... uh, did you, um, y'know... kill that girl?" the girl asked as she reached slowly behind her.

"No, but I think I may have scared her off. I was sent here as one of the places to look for the Hero and allies to help save the world from an evil which threatens to consume all worlds. But she seemed to think that it was a trap. I saw you here, too. Maybe it was actually you I was looking for?" Navi hoped that this wasn't actually a part of the evil that she was trying to oppose. But she seemed to be on good terms with the other girl, and the Pokemon seemed to like her, so she was probably ok. "I hope you don't run away, too. I don't know how to make it sound any less dramatic without actually lying, and I really do need to collect help."

Neru listened as the fairy talked.

"Listen..." Neru said, as politely as a demon could allow, "I would love to help you, but I have my own problems to deal with! Wait -- did you say evil? Hmm... Seems like I may end up helping you after all! See I have to kill a certain amount of pure evil beings before I can be released from the Outworld, I myself, well, I'm not evil, it was all a mistake!" Neru, realizing nobody had any idea of what she was talking about, tried to get back on topic again. "Eh, nevermind. But I will help you, first explain to me WHAT IS GOING ON HERE?!"

Inona's POV:
I wandered slowly through the forest, voices echoing through the forest... or in my head. The being of ancient times and forgotten name had been much more talkative. It warned me of enemies, mostly Alex. Not too much of a problem; she was less eloquent as I, to put it simply. Prone more to actions then words, but she was strong. That would be a problem. I would have to find some kind of guide, one easily disposable once they became useless. I had magic, even if I had lost my blade-staff.

Navi settled on a nearby bush. "I don't know the details. I was in moping a bit in the Temple of Time, which is a gateway to the Sacred Realm. The reason I was moping is not really important. But it meant that when they needed a messenger, I was available. I was told 'A great danger is approaching Hyrule. It threatens all worlds. You must find the Hero and gain allies to stop this evil before it consumes everything! Go! Be what you were meant to be!' Then I was shown a map, with several spots that lit up. This was the first lit spot that I came to. I saw you and that other girl, and was hoping that you were people that I needed to find, rather than someone in that angry mob. It was a logical guess, anyway. You -were- closer to the point where the map lit up."

She looked at the girl again. "You need to find pure evil souls? How are you going to manage THAT? Almost everything alive is a mixture of evil and good. Some do a better job than others of squashing one side, but they still have a tiny seed of the side they squashed. It wouldn't even surprise me if even Gannondorf turned out to have a seed of good in him, although I would be very interested to know where it was and how you found it."

Neru could feel her heart sink. She was beginning to believe Lamatshu had tricked her. "I was told to find pure evil. I never thought about the whole yin-yang. So there's nobody - absolutely nobody - that like, spits on puppies and eats children?"

Navi thought for a minute. "Well, there are people like that, but I wouldn't want to prove that they never ever did the right thing just because it needed to be done. True demons might qualify, but they aren't really alive so you can't really kill them. And I don't want to try to say that they can't be redeemed anyway if they wanted to be. Of course the "wanted to be" part is the big sticking spot. None of them ever want it, so it's impossible to prove that it can't happen."

Neru looked at the fairy with a "DUH" look on her face. "I'm a demon - not of my own fault - and I've never done anything evil..."

"Anyway, I'm Neru."

"So should we start heading... to wherever this evil is supposed to happen or...? Or will you be recruiting more people? I saw a boy earlier -- he looked like he was somewhere in his teens -- who looked perfect for helping you with this. Do you know who I'm talking about? No, I suppose you don't, there are quite a lot of teenage boys in the world... Hmm... He had blond hair, wore a lot of green, he was Hylian -- at least it appeared so, as far as his pointed ears said -- had a kind of pointed hat... I saw him practicing archery, he was very good at it. He seems fit for your quest."

Navi brightened a bit as Neru described Link. "Yes, that sounds like Link! I was going to find him. He's perfect." She blushed faintly for a moment. "For the quest, I mean. Would he have been in this direction?" she asked as she flew a short distance and then came back. "By the way, if you have a physical body you aren't a true demon, just a host. They only have a physical form outside their realm when something gives them one. It's what makes them so hard to fight. Oh, and I'm called Navi"

The two Pokemon seemed reluctant, so she told them to go ahead back to their trainer. They were relieved. Willow said "We know you now. IF she decides to come with you after all, there is an Abra in the camp who can send us to you. Otherwise, it has been fun meeting you, and we wish you luck."

"Yes, I believe he was in that direction." Neru answered. Or was it the other way?

Neru and Navi began walking to find Link. Meow! MEOW MEOW!! The sounds came from Neru's pocket. "Bonehilda! I forgot about you!" Neru exclaimed, as she pulled the tiny kitten out of her pocket. She played with her kitten for a moment, then put her back in her pocket.

"So, Navi..." Neru asked, "What's it like to be a fairy? Like, how do you do stuff?"

"Do you need to eat?"

"Can you read minds?"

"How long do you live?"

"Can you die?"

"Do you grant wishes?"

"Do you like being a fairy?"

Alex's POV:
I woke up with a huge head-ache. Nothing appeared to be broken, but with my hangover-esque pounding skull, I wasn't sure I was right about that. I groaned and sat up; my eyesight was as fuzzy, as was my hearing. My smell was nearly gone. Taste? Forget it. Touch was the only thing the same, and I didn't rely on that nearly as much as the others. I struggled to get to my feet; I was sick and weak. Then my vision cleared- somewhat- and I realized I was in some unfamiliar place. Tall trees, but not as old as the forests of my province. I turned around slowly, and noticed blood on a rock. That would be completely unremarkable, if it weren't for the fact that it was gold. Unless another fae had passed by recently- the blood was very fresh- it was my own. I examined each of my limbs for cuts, my clothes for tears, but there was nothing. Fearing the worst, I held my hand up to the back of my head. Blood, fresh and warm.
"Jazhch," I swore quietly; tearing part of my shirt, I tied the cloth around my head- the best I could do for now.
Then I realized something. My cloak was gone, and in it's place was my satchel. I knew I had left it at home, hanging on my bed-post. A twig cracked suddenly in the forest; I would be exploring the satchel later. My hand flew to my hip, and I was relieved to fell the hilt of my sword. I drew it slowly and turned around, trying to look deep into the forest around me.

Navi oriented herself, and they began to head toward where Navi remembered a light in the Lost Woods. As they traveled, Neru had a lot of questions. She didn't mind answering. It was something to do

"So, Navi..." Neru asked, "What's it like to be a fairy? Like, how do you do stuff?"

If something is small enough, I can absorb it to carry it. If it's bigger, but still not too heavy I can absorb just enough to attach it to myself. I don't like doing that because it makes flying awkward, and it looks really odd. And if it's too big I get help. Most of us are assigned as companions to a Kokiri, so we have someone to do things like that for us. We help them remember things, and do things better. I had a companion, but he isn't a Kokiri and I had to leave. I don't feel comfortable talking about that."


"Do you need to eat?"

"I absorb light and magic."


"Can you read minds?"

"Not really, but with some people it is easy to see what they are thinking anyway. I -am- good with languages, though. And I can help someone focus."


"How long do you live?"

"Time doesn't mean much. I live Today. And another Today. And more of them. But I'm too busy living to count them all."


"Can you die?"

"yes. Not through time, but through trauma or heartache."


"Do you grant wishes?"

"I think that depends on the wish. I can't re-weave reality the way some of the Great ones can, but I can make good illusions. And I can heal people once a day. So if you were to wish for your favorite food, I could make it seem like a piece of bread was it. And If you wished to be healed, I could manage it. But it would take someone stronger than me if you wanted to wish to be free of your demon."


"Do you like being a fairy?"

"Yes, although I do occasionally wish to change. It's not serious, though. Changing wouldn't do any good." She looked at Neru's pocket. "Shouldn't your kitten be getting more exercise? Her muscles are never going to grow if she doesn't use them very often."

"Yeah, that's exactly what I said. Lamatshu said I would receive a strong traveling companion, that she would bring back from the dead. I was kinda expecting like, y'know, a lion of a griffin or something, but I got little ol' Bonehilda. I wouldn't say I'm disappointed, but definitely not what I was expecting. Anyway, Lamatshu said she should be prepared to back me up in battle, I guess I just tried to take her word for it. I've come to love Bonehilda, even if she is a kitten from hell. She keeps me company. I've tried to get her to run around, but she just so damn reluctant! Never the matter, Lamatshu said she will be prepared when the time comes... Whenever that is."

A few minutes later, Neru realized she led them to the wrong direction, and they had walked into the dark forest. "Oh crap..." Neru said, "I uh... I think maybe it was the other direction... Sorry..." Neru was about to turn around, when she heard a woman muttering to herself. "HOLY HELL!!!" she shouted, jumped up in the air, and tried to run, but, of course, tripped. Neru scrambled up, and hid behind Navi.

Inona's POV:
A shout rang out in the forest; I jumped, but continued to walk uninterrupted. I needed a guide - I was probably walking in circles. I didn't want to risk flying, either, in case someone happened to be looking up and they weren't accustomed to flying women. Like most humans when I led an attack.

Alex's POV:
A woman yelled somewhere in the forest. I hunkered down, debating what to do; I decided that everyone was a foe until I knew more and fled through the forest, sheathing my sword as I ran. I was running much more slowly, much like a disoriented human - da**, I sounded like Inona. I stopped at the base of a relatively bushy tree and hauled myself up it, flapping my wings when strength wasn't enough to give an added boost. I stopped at a relatively thick branch and curled myself into a small, attentive ball in the shadows. Most people wouldn't notice me, or know what I was if they saw me. I felt a sense of hopelessness as I slowly drifted into sleep.

The woman dashed away, to a thick tree. "Uh... Hello?" Neru called. "Anybody there?" Neru walked towards the tree. "Helloooo? I know you're somewhere in this forest! Anyway, we're looking for this guy... Link, I believe, could you direct us to town?"

Alex's POV:
"Uh...hello? Anybody there? Hello? I know your somewhere in this forest!" shouted the woman; I had drifted into an uneasy sleep filled with dark shadows when she had woken me up. The woman was speaking one of the numerous human languages - chances were if she was fae, or even elf, she knew one of the human dialects. My mind still fogged with sleep, I tried to sit upright, but only managed to put myself in an awkward squatting position on the branch. "Anyway, we're looking for this guy... Link, I believe, could you direct us to town?" Apparently, she knew her way around as well as I did. Maybe an Ardintrean, like me. I decided to take a chance, but not without precaution first. Cupping my hands around my mouth, I tried to direct the sound away from my actual hiding place.
"Arock palya fale? Palya fale tarkra? Palya batr?" Who are you? Are you elven? Or fae?
I prayed with every fiber of my being that she would not be able to deduce my whereabouts from my voice.

A voice that seemed to come from all around the forest said, "Arock palya fale? Palya fale tarka? Palya batr?" Hmm... I know a little bit of what she's saying... I think something about faes? "I'm uh... that is, used to be...uh Hylian, but uh..." Neru starting stuttering beyond belief. "Anyway, me and uh, Navi here, are looking for Link, because of some evil or something... Can you please help? I think I lost us in this forest..."

Navi quietly said "We're not lost; this is where one of the lights was. I thought it might be Link, because he grew up in a forest village." She flew out to where she could be clearly seen. I haven't gotten a word for "Hello" yet... Oh well. I think this is right... "Yepal Navi. Hello" I am Navi. Hello.

Alex's POV:
Hylian? Maybe another name for humans... and who was Navi? I peered down through the branches, trying to catch a glimpse of these people, but could only see quick glimpses of color through the leaves. I still had no idea who Link was. "Yepal Navi. Hello," said another voice. Obviously a greeting, but I didn't know what yepal meant... maybe "I am"... yes, that would fit. I switched to a human language, but I wasn't sure which one. There were so many.
"Are you armed? I do not wish to fight you, but if necessity forces me to, I will," I said carefully; I didn't want to sound threatening, but I did want to get the point across. I would fight like a cornered animal if I needed to, and in more ways than one.

Neru and Navi waited for a reply. "Are you armed? I do not wish to fight you, but if necessity forces me to, I will." the voice did not sound as though it -- presumably female -- was threatening them, but she was warning them. "Um... I do have a weapon but I don't want to fight you. We're just trying to find Link for some quest of Navi's." Neru gently put her hands up, even though she assumed the woman couldn't see her behind all of the leaves. "Can you please help us?"

Alex's POV:
They weren't dangerous, but I wasn't sure how to help them. Then I got an idea.
"I do not know who Link is," I said, quickly cloaking myself in a thin film of lightning. I didn't want to show what I really looked like. At least not yet. I glided out of my hiding place, landing in front of them. "I do not know if my idea will help you find your friend, but it should help you find your way out of the forest," I said. Without waiting for an answer, I flew up above the tree tops, glancing out over an enormous forest that ended at the edge of a great plain.

"I do not know who Link is," the new girl (or woman?) said. She came down and landed in front of them, under some sort of shield. "I do not know if my idea will help you find your friend, but it should help you find your way out of the forest," she said, and flew up above the tree tops without waiting for an answer.


Navi said to Neru " Well, I'm one for two with this message... There was a light here, so she is one of the ones we need to find. Cross your fingers and hope that we don't scare her off like I did with the other girl?"

She flew up after the new girl. "This may sound strange to you, but I was sent from the Temple of Time to gather a hero and allies to help save this world from a great evil which threatens to consume all worlds. I was shown a map where they all were, and this is where one of the lights was. I don't know where Link is, but he is the Hero of Hyrule and the wielder of the Master Sword, so I'm sure one of the lights is his." She paused for a moment to be sure her emotions were still under control.

"But before we go to the next light I have to ask if you are willing to join us? I am convinced that we need you, but we aren't forcing anything. If you refuse we will simply continue in peace, looking for the next light. And hoping we succeed in getting enough to stop whatever this evil is."

"Great Evil," I said slowly, still getting my bearings. "No. That's not strange to me at all. Other than the part about the Temple of Time... and anything involving this friend... Link... or Hyrule. That's the name of this land? As for joining you, I'm not making any promises, but I may stay. I think I have an idea of what the great evil might entail... or who. Now, where are you headed? I can point it out if I know what I'm looking for."

Navi thought for a moment. "Right now I think we are still finding the Hero and allies. I was shown a map with several places to go, but none of them were any different from the rest. This was the map." She produced an image of the map she was shown, and then dropped her illusion when she began to drift down toward the ground. "I think I need more practice with illusions," she laughed as she flew back up. "Anyway, this is where we are right now," she added as she generated another illusionary map, but made the light at the current spot brighter. "So I suppose we are heading for the next light on the map now. Whichever light we want to head for, anyway..."

Alex's POV:
Hero and allies? Then which one was Link that they seemed to want to find first. Maybe it had to do with knowing who was the hero. Maybe Link was the hero so they had to find him first. I looked around, listening to Navi. I turned towards the map she was conjuring. I pointed to the light nearest to where our current location was.
"Because it's not much more than a day from here, we - if I can tag along - should go there. Link may be there. Of course, you might want to talk to your friend about it," I said, swaying a little bit in the air. Generating the shield was taking a toll on me, so I let it fade out. I glided slowly back down to earth and leaned against a tree. At this point I was feeling a little sick. Traveling as a fae probably wouldn't fix that. Without a thought to the fact that I might completely freak out Navi and Neru, I changed into a wolf and relaxed in the shade of the tree, waiting.

Navi landed and watched in amazement as the new girl changed into a wolf and relaxed under a tree. Making sure she was settled on the ground, she produced her map again. The next closest light was in the area of the Forest Temple.

There was another light that was slightly under two days travel back toward the river.

"So where do you want to go next?"

"Umm... guys?" Neru awkwardly walked over, and pointed at the sky. A storm was heading in. Rain slowly drizzled down. "HOLY HELL!" Neru shouted, and jumped under a tree, pulling leaves over her face. ((Remember, Neru can't get wet.)) "So uh... shouldn't we like... find shelter, or something?"

Background: Waluigi is an insane man from the Mushroom Kingdom whom was never noticed by anyone. He became sick and tired of never being noticed, so he plotted to take over the world. This drove him into conflict with his soon-to-be arch-enemy, Luigi. Soon, Luigi and Waluigi were constantly at each others throats for many different reasons. Waluigi was never able to beat Luigi. One day, in a rage from having lost to Luigi 50 times that week, he struck a hollow spot on his bedroom wall. The hollow wall collapsed, revealing a black gemstone. Curiosity replacing anger, he picked up the gemstone. All of a sudden, he felt an incredible surge of energy flow through him, giving him strength and energy. He then realized that he had limited power over darkness. He had found the Darkstone, which granted power over darkness to it's holder. "With this", he thought to himself, "I will finally be able to defeat Luigi and get on my plans for world domination." Then, all of a sudden, a strange voice told him the Darkstone was dormant and that it needs to absorb large amounts of life energy from other living things to awaken it's full power. So Waluigi set off on a journey to find and defeat many living beings so he can drain their life energy and feed it into the Darkstone in order to awaken it's full potential. But, before he even went anywhere, a portal of pure darkness opened up beneath him, sending him to another world, where he found a great darkness beckoning him...

Navi looked at the rain clouds. "I guess we need to hurry and get inside the Forest Temple. Unless you want to experiment and see if I can take you into this pokeball with me? " She really didn't think Neru wanted to try going into the pokeball, but she felt that she had to point out all the options. And it was possible that the pokeball might be the only shelter if they weren't faster than the rain.

Alex's POV:
Pokeball? Strange. I didn't understand how any one of them could fit into it, but whatever. I also didn't understand Neru's dislike of rain. Of course, I wasn't much of a fan either; when I was in my current form, I smelled like wet dog after a downpour. I was starting to wonder whether I could communicate in this form as well. I wasn't planning on changing, at least while we were actually traveling. I opened my mouth to try and speak, but realized how stupid that idea was. I yelled as loudly as I could mentally, releasing the pent-up frustration.

Inona's POV: ((I realized how long it's been since I posted for Inona :faceslap: ))
I continued to wander through the forest until I realized two things. Firstly, it was raining. Secondly, I was almost out of the woods. I started to run towards the edge of the forest.
((Not as long or dramatic as I would have wanted, but I just noticed three PMs in my inbox! THREE? The most I get in the inbox is one, if I'm lucky.))

Meanwhile, Waluigi was walking through the forest, grumbling about a strange vortex leaving him there. He had recently stolen a map of the area from an unwary traveler, and he was currently using it to find a way out of the forest. Then, all of a sudden, he bumped into a strange woman, who seemed to have wings. She whirled around with an angry look on her face, and said "Who dares to attack me, Inona, mistress of the unliving?!" Waluigi was terrified for a bit, then he thought to himself 'wait... what am I scared of, a stupid teenage girl? Luigi is 100 times scarier than her, and I'm not scared of HIM.' Then, he smirked and said "Whatcha gonna do about it, cry me to death?" All of a sudden, he was on the ground, looking up at Inona with a terrified gaze as she says, "Foolish mortal, you haven't the slightest clue of the power I wield! YOU SHALL PERI-wha!? Y-you wield the Darkstone?! H-how have you come to posess it!? It had been banished to a seperate realm from this one! Wait, it's power has greatly diminished over the centuries! Ha! You seek to restore it to it's former glory, don't you?" "Y-yes, I do..." muttered Waluigi. "Then, maybe we can reach a bargian. If you join me, then I'll restore it for you. What do you say?" "Y-yes, I'll join you..." "Good..."

She then grabbed a large leaf, put it over her head, and began running through the forest, shouting "I DON'T WANNA DIE! I DON'T WANNA DIE! I WANT TO LIIIIIIIIIIIVE!" CRASH!! Ow! My head... Neru grabbed her head, hoping there wasn't a lemon sized lump on it. Then she noticed two pairs of feet in front of her, looked up, and saw a man and a woman, looking PISSED. "Eh! Sorry for um... disturbance... I eh...." Neru grabbed her leaf, put it back over her head, and ran over to Navi and the strange woman/wolf.

"The...there are... people.... over there...." Neru said, in between breaths.

Alex's POV:
Slightly after Neru ran away, screaming, she ran back, saying something about other people in the woods. I turned back to normal; I rummaged in my bag slightly and found my cloak. I handed it to Neru and said "People? Can you show me to them?"
Mostly wistful thinking, but a larger group of people would be less of a hazard. It may attract unwanted attention, but the amount of defenders for each other would counteract that. Of course, they could be enemies, which is why I was going to try a stealthy approach.

She had everything that she ever wanted, and even most of her High School career with straight A's, until she decided to drop out, and go after her true ambition. Rin, many had called her very beautiful. And this honestly, didn't appeal to her. She didn't care what people said about her. She just wanted to do what she wanted to do.

Rin had her eyes closed, she was hiding her lies beneath her eyelids, her hues told her story. Sorrow and with despair. As she slowly released her breath, slowly her breath clung to the air. A soft mist captured a single breath, and she began to wonder what this said about her life. Rin had everything, and yet this was taken away from her, for a moment of bliss turned into a devastating night that broke who she was, and how she was around everyone. Rin's back was against the tree, as she felt slowly a single tear trail down her porcelain colored skin. "I suppose the story needs an ending. I had a beginning, a middle. With an amazing f**king plot! And now...There is nothing standing in my way." She slowly opened her eyes, Rin's deep crimson hues, showed all the hate that she had. As Rin came back to the real world, she heard voices, "Just f**king dandy!" She exclaimed. Rin slowly reached into her black jacket, and pulled out her 9mm, and looked around. As she slowly walked through the forest, she hid behind a tree, seeing random people.

"Interesting, yet not, intriguing." She chuckled to herself, breathlessly she waited for one to come towards her. Rin needed blood, though she rather have the blood of her enemies against her lips, coloring her lips crimson. Rin slowly moved, only to step on a branch, making soft snap noise. "Sh*t" She whispered, her throat muscles slowly contracted letting her throat make what seemed to sound like a gulping action. Her idea of being in like a very stealth like manor, overall failed her.

((I had been waiting on SMOK3, since you had spoken to Neru, and Navi hadn't gone tearing blindly through the forest looking for someplace to stay dry. But I guess I can get things going again.))

The woman wanted to go see the people that Neru had spotted, but Neru was still obviously terrified of getting wet. Navi looked around and found a nearby spot under some trees that looked as though it would stay dry for a while. Hopefully they would be back by the time the trees were saturated. "You can stay under these trees while we go back the way you came and see if we can find out anything about the people you saw. The leaves are thick enough that it should take about half an hour for the trees to get saturated enough for the rain to get through. I plan to be back here long before that."

Navi looked at the other woman. "Well, she was in too much of a hurry to try covering her tracks. I think I can find where she was when she discovered the people." Navi headed off in the direction that Neru had started running in, following the trail of snapped twigs and disturbed brush until she got to a point where she heard voices. She stopped and looked around to see if the other woman had followed.

Alex's POV:
Navi started to fly off in the direction Neru had run back from. I followed slowly, sneaking through the underbrush, sword at the ready. The way Neru had run back, I sincerely doubted that these people had been friendly and welcoming. As long as could, I would stay hidden in the forest.

Inona's POV:
"D***," I said. I heard a whisper in my ear, and turned around. Standing by my side was the ghostly apparition of my spectral friend inside my head. He/she whispered in an ancient tongue. That girl had told her friends. Who those friends were, the spirit didn't say. The spirit disappeared almost as soon as it came, which was both gratifying and disconcerting. Gratifying because I knew from experience that when my little friend contacted me, my mouth went slack and my eyes turned dull. Disconcerting because that meant that, once again, my friend was controlling our head and making the decisions. "I believe we are going to have company, sir. It would be best for both of us if we left...soon."

Neru waited as Navi and the other woman headed into the night. At this point, she was more bored than scared.

Snap! "Sh*t!" someone whispered, in the opposite side of the forest. "EH!!!" Neru shouted, scrambling up, careful to keep her leaf above her head. "Wh-who's th-th-there?!" she shouted, trying to be as intimidating as possible. She could see the figure of a woman in the shadows. A woman holding a gun. "HOLY HELL!!!" Neru screamed, and ran to Navi and the other woman as fast as she could.

Slowly her lips carved into a sly grin. Rin slowly exited the wooded area, "Hmm, intriguing that you would speak of me, in such a wonderful manner." Rin clapped her hands, as she looked towards the female with her brow slowly arching upward, "You really think this bullet is for you?" She asked, "I've shot someone worse looking." Rin winked after speaking her statement. Rin was very cocky and ignorant. Rin slowly stopped, as she leaned up against the tree. Her crystal orbs looked towards her cuticles.

"Hmm, intriguing group, aren't we?" She asked, as her orbs slowly gazed to the people that now were upon her presence. "The name is Rin, get use to the name, because I'm not changing my name. I do not want to be called R, or whatever. Just Rin." She snared, as she rolled her eyes. Her pink muscle slowly rolled over her chapped lips, moistening her lips. "Should we keep this on first name basis? Or do we want to tell each other our full name?" She asked, with a cocky tone. Though her sly grin didn't leave her thin lips.

Neru wasn't paying full attention to the girl; she was mostly focused on staying dry under her wilting leaf. "Uh...." Neru stuttered, hoping that Navi and the other woman would return. Wait! she thought, What if she's evil? There's no shame in killing an evil person, right? So that I can live?! Neru was silent for a moment, and began to speak.

"I--"

Yeah, she couldn't say much. Neru just stared at the girl, trying to say something.

Alex's POV:
Without breaking a sweat, I turned and looked at the newcomer. Twelve years of experience told me not to reveal anything that would be potentially life-threatening information. "Well then, Rin, I guess welcome... if it's all right with my comrades, of course. My name is Anora. As for the names of my comrades, that's up to them," I said smoothly. I grinned wolfishly; years of changing from wolf to fae to wolf again had altered my outward appearance slightly. I had fingernails that grew extremely fast, that were also pointed. My canine teeth were also slightly longer than a normal fae. No one who knew me like my sisters noticed, but it was slightly unnerving to "outsiders". Sometimes.

Rin smirked as she looked towards Anora. Rin wasn't stupid, after all what she had dealt with, was a little far worse than what was standing before her. "Ah, intriguing name, Anora. Pretty as well." Rin's hues left the female's as she looked towards the other female's, "Hmm, does a cat have your tongue, sweetheart? There is no need to be scared, I don't bite. Well, I don't bite hard that is. Unless." Rin stopped, and chuckled to herself. She slowly slid her gun back into the holster. "Well, I would what a pleasure to meet you all. Yet...I do not know who you all are. So, I guess I can't say those words, now can I?" She asked, as her brow began to arc upward, her slender lips began to crease into a sly grin. As she now waited for the rest of them to talk.

Navi studied Rin for a moment. "Hello Rin. I'm called Navi. You wouldn't happen to have a portable umbrella with you, by any chance?"

Neru elbowed Navi. She didn't say anything, but her eyes said "Are you insane?! That lady's crazy!"

Rin let her brow slowly arch, "Someone doesn't like water, hmm?" She asked, as she looked over and handed over an umbrella, "Oh, wouldn't you know, I got one." She smirked, her attitude showing greatly through every spoken word, "Hmm, nice to meet you, Navi." She slowly scanned the person before her, then slowly adjusted her sights towards the female, "And you are? I'm sure you have amazing vocal cords, that allow you to speak. Do you have a name? Or are you just intimidated by my presence?" Rin grinned, as she rolled her eyes. She pushed off the tree, and walked to the person named Navi, and handed over the umbrella.

She then turned to look at the female, "Just to clarify, one who doesn't speak or state their name when asked, is..Quite rude, honey." Rin smiled her sly smile, as she brought her hand upward so she could study her cuticles of her fingers, "Hmm, look at all that crimson." She whispered beneath her breath. "Well, do you think, I could tag along? I'm surely bored, and I just don't know what to do." She stated, with a very odd smile, trying to cover up the abnormally large incisors.

After suddenly going slack, Inona said "I believe we are going to have company, sir. It would be best for both of us if we left...soon." Waluigi responded with "Uh... what are you- oh, nevermind... I don't like it in here, anyway... I just hope that we have an umbrella or something like an umbrella."

Neru, Navi, and Rin walked through the forest. Neru didn't know how to react -- she couldn't tell if this girl was incredibly nice or incredibly mean. Neru kept sneaking looks at the strange girl, darting her eyes to the ground everytime she was spotted. Who was she? There was something intriguing about her. Something that made Neru want to know more -- she could tell she wasn't normal, but was Neru so normal herself? I wonder.... WHAT is she? Neru continued to think, looking at Rin, then the ground, then Rin, then the ground, then Rin, then the ground. "Neru." Neru said, her voice quivering. "My name's Neru."

"If we hurry we should be able to reach the Forest Temple ahead of the worst of the rain." Navi commented. "It's this way!"

Then she remembered that "Anora" had wanted to check out the people that Neru had seen. She wasn't entirely sure that leaving Neru alone with Rin was a good idea, but making Neru take another detour instead of heading toward shelter as fast as possible seemed like an even worse idea. She decided to foist the decision off on somebody else. She turned toward Anora. " Do you still want me to go with you to find the people that Neru saw, or should I lead them to the Forest Temple where she can get a roof over herself?"

((Yeah, smbcfan, you can jump back to whatever your character is doing, that's totally all right. And riptide, sorry it's taking so long. If you want to, you can write a kind of introduction post, like what falco is doing while all this other stuff is going on, but it's completely up to you!))

Alex's POV:
I considered Navi's ideas. Based on our new "friend" and Neru's reaction to wet, getting to a dry place would be the best option.
"I believe the Forest Temple would our best bet. If you would lead the way," I said.

Inona's POV:
"An umbrella? I have something that will do quite a nice job," I said, twisting the "wing-arms" until they formed a tent-like structure over my head.

[Yazoo]

Rin chuckled, "Ah, so she does speak." A smirk rolled slowly over her lips, "Nice to meet you, Neru." She whispered, as her hues scanned the area, she didn't have much to say after that. She wasn't sure where she was going. They were speaking of a "temple" surely this intrigued her. But then again, she was starting to feel that tick, that drive for blood. Rin slowly licked over drying lips, as she was now beginning to thirst. Rin's throat felt dry, her lips were cracking. Rin slowly rested her against a tree that was next to her. Rin slowly scanned the area, she needed to do something, and quick.

She slowly took in a deep breath, and closed her eyes. She took in the scent of the people, and the environment around them. As she slowly opened her eyes, her hues had changed to a drastic color, a soft crimson with a blue ring around the iris. This she knew she would expose herself. Rin slowly slid on her sunglasses, as she smiled through her lips not baring her teeth. Rin of course didn't speak, but she knew that they could catch on very soon, "So, this temple.." She began, "Where exactly are we going? And where exactly is this temple?" She asked in hesitation, with her tone sounding like her voice was broken and weak.

Neru looked at Rin, then at Anora, with a worried look in her large, blue eyes.

Rin all she could do was grin towards Neru, "Why do you look so, how can I put this, worried?" She asked with a cocky tone in her voice, "There isn't a thing you should worry about. Unless, you are one of those people that had harmed my beloved...And stole her away from me!" Her voice escalated, but soon she was coming down, "If your not, then darling, you've got nothing to worry about." Rin did a cute shoulder lift, and a face that just made things look, well, rather unnatural. Rin began softly slapping her thighs as she made a beat, and then began to hum softly. Rin didn't speak much after what she just got done saying, she rather...Stay silent.

Neru quickly looked away, hoping she could find something to pretend to be interested in. But all she could think about was this "Rin" girl. She was so mysterious, it angered her. "So we should uh... get going?" she said, her eyes remained glued to the ground.

Alex's POV:
Keeping secrets? Not a problem... maybe. I had my own fair share of secrets. My real face was never really mine. It was plastered up on every spare wall, accompanied by "WANTED BY THE QUEEN: She is extremely dangerous blah blah blah any known to be harboring her will be arrested and executed blah blah blah, continued." Of course, magical disguises were my specialty, so I lived a somewhat "comfortable" life as a tavern owner inside the city walls. Then I mentally slapped myself. "Why not just use a disguise while I'm here. Pretend that my true face is the disguise," I thought to myself. "Yes," I said out loud, answering myself.

As there seemed to be a consensus that they should be heading on toward the temple now, Navi began to lead the way. She was still puzzled by Rin, as this was not an area where there was a light. On the other hand, one person did end up not joining them, so Rin might be a replacement. And if she was actually an enemy it would probably be better to keep her where they can see her. She decided to treat Rin as though she were a friend, but full trust would only come when it was earned.

On the other side of the map, so to speak, stood a tall figure. With wings outspread like a hawk, because he was a hawk, well.. really he was a falcon, but they are relatives. Ahem... Moving on. Gazing into the distance he spotted a large majestic structure. With the rain slowly obscuring his sensitive vision he began to walk. "Damn radio," he muttered,"Goddamn thing doesn't work, why couldn't some wiseass invent an infinite battery, I mean we have hover tanks, but No! Rin let her brow arc upwards, "Yeah, lets get going. I mean after all, why must we just stand here staring at each other, or..." Rin grinned towards Neru, "Or the ground, we would just saving the inevitable by just standing here, and thinking over the next move. This is game a chess apparently, we must be always a step ahead, even if the person we are playing chess with goes before us. We always need to make a counter attack, and standing her, dolls, is just not getting us faster." Rin sighed softly, as she began to walk, "I don't know where the hell I'm going, but I'm not going to just stand here, and wait to die." Rin shrugged her shoulders as she continued to walk, she stopped, "Are you all coming?" She asked, as she stepped another foot before herself, and continued to walk away.

Alex's POV:
I changed into a wolf again and followed after Navi - a good thing about this animal side of me was that I retained my sense of smell. I would have to hope that any "unsavory" characters would stay downwind so I could track them. I hated tracking, it was just so much effort that could be achieved much more easily by an accurate knife throw.

Inona's POV:
"They are still in the forest, but they have gone a different route. I think I might have to cancel their journey," I said, more for my own benefit than anything else. "Acthen mach jazer, neal palya do mach darasha." Hear mine plea, awake and do mine bidding. A ghostly moan erupted from behind me, and I turned to acknowledge my servants. Two spectres shuffled behind me, awaiting my bidding.
"Our enemy is traveling. Follow behind and then, when the moment is right... destroy them."

Navi led the small group toward the temple. Something didn't feel quite right, but she wasn't sure if that was because Rin was untrustworthy, or if something else was wrong. Or if it was just her imagination. They arrived at the temple just ahead of the rain. Just as they were ready to enter she saw two dark, shadowy shapes approaching quickly from behind the group. "WATCH OUT!" she called loudly.

"WAH!" cried Waluigi as he saw two evil-looking shadow creatures rise out of the ground. He wasn't scared of them, they just gave him quite the shock. 'What are those things?!' he wanted to ask Inona, but he decided to ask her later, when she wasn't preoccupied with other things. 'I'll also ask her what her plans are, cause I wanna know what the heck I'm getting myself into. I just hope it doesn't put my life and/or the world at risk.'

Falco slowly and drudginly climbed into his porta-tank, and inserted the key into the starting mechanism. The pushed the accelerator lever and began to slowly advance across the unknown terrain. "Why the hell did they have to send me on this trip? I don't get paid enough," Falco muttered under his breath. He reached into the empty bag of cookies to his right, searching for a tidbit or a morsel to satisfy his hunger. His food stores were full but, being Falco, he didn't want to stop and get then from the back. But mainly it because the accelerator was stuck in place and he was out of braking fluid.

Inona's POV:
'Why haven't they gone yet?' I thought.
"Go, you idiotic fiends!" I shrieked at them. The spectres looked at me stupidly for a few seconds and then - as if something clicked in what was left of their brains - they lumbered off in the direction of Alex and her new 'friends'... or so I hoped. This whole situation was very inconvenient for me. The spirit inside me was completely in control now, and to offer an opinion that had a chance of being rejected was very... unwise. I pinched the bridge of my nose with my thumb and forefinger, trying to calm down.

Alex's POV:
"WATCH OUT!" Navi yelled. I spun around swiftly and growled. Two spectres, which meant Inona was here, too.
"Hang on!" I yelled, running straight at the spectres. Spectres had an undying stamina, seeing as they were practically dead. The only way to kill them is to either decapitate them, or land a direct shot through the forehead. The best way to confuse them is to charge at them, which is distracting. If they bite you, their saliva prevents the wound from healing and you bleed to death. It's always best to have a partner; one of you distracts them, the other goes in for the kill.

Navi watched as Anora yelled "Hang on" and started running at the attackers. When everyone else seemed frozen in place ((It's been a while since anybody else has posted, after all...)) Navi decided that she should help Anora. She flew behind her, and then decided that a serious distraction is probably in order. She didn't know Anora well enough to be sure that direct assistance would be accepted. She hid herself in a tree and created an illusion of a group of three clones of herself flitting around the attackers and chattering at them about the weather, the last party she went to, and how many wonderful things happen to be green. As they were all part of the same illusion, the conversation was coming from all of them at the same time, including having one "Navi" finish a sentence that another one had started. The phrase "Link wears green" did slip out, but she hoped it was drowned out by all the other chatter, and by the fact that the sentence was divided among all three copies so that it would have been necessary to piece it together from random chatter from all three in order to get the coherent sentence. And at least he wasn't here to actually hear it, even if he could understand it! When they finally manged to hit one, she exploded the entire group in a shower of sparkles and replaced the group with another one that started asking "Why did you do that?" "Do you like being the way you are? ", "What is your favorite color?", and other similar annoying questions. (Again, spread among all three copies, so it was more like "Why did being the way favorite color?" from one, while another was saying " Do you you do you are?" and the third was saying "What is like being your?") The sentences "I think I need to practice keeping dialog separate" and "Why did I decide to try an illusion of a group of three?" also managed to work their way into the chatter; again badly mangled by being split among all three Navis. She was too busy concentrating on her illusion to pay much attention to anything else going on, so she hoped her illusion was useful. And that she didn't reveal too much that was private while she was having her illusion chatter about three things at the same time.

Suddenly, an array of headlights slowly appeared in the mist, they came closer and closer, faster and faster. A large object maneuvered into view, it saw the helpless onlookers, and swerved, going around the the helpless spectres and people, and flipping over, until it hit tall, firm redwood tree.

The tank fell onto the ground, throwing clouds of dust around it when it landed. Out climbed a mysterious figure. He jumped to the ground, shot the specters to death with lasers and finished off the rest of his cookie.

Alex's POV:
I dashed around the spectres as fast as I could without tripping, slightly exasperated that no one else did anything. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw three Navi's flitting around, chattering and - the part I was truly concerned with - driving the spectres to distraction. There was a huge commotion through the trees as some huge, shining animal crashed into the clearing. I forgot about the spectres completely as I leaped to the side, covering my head - gaining extra ground by fluttering my wings slightly. What I saw next surprised me to no end. A large, blue falcon-like figure stepped out of the belly of the beast, shot bright streams of light - killing the spectres instantly - and finished a cookie. My mouth dropped open and I stood up, against my better judgment.

Inona's POV:
I felt the pressure grow underneath my ribcage as the spectres entered combat. My spirits soared as the fight drug on, but everything came crashing down when felt the pressure dissipate painfully - the spectres had died again, and there would be no chance of bringing them back this time, no matter how much magic I invested in the task. I clenched my fists, my fingernails biting into the palm of my hand. A steady stream of curses flowed from my mouth, the blood flowing from my hands almost as steady. Why was it that everywhere she went, Alex encountered some form of help, while I nearly always met resistance? She had allies, illegal smugglers and as many resources as a small country, not to mention a secret headquarters in the capital itself, right under my very nose, but could I ever locate it? No.

Waluigi noticed that something had gone wrong. Whether it was because he had a sudden feeling of relief or because Inona was cringing and cursing at the exact same time or a mix of them both, he had no clue. 'I also have the strangest feeling that I'll have to fight someone. If that is the case, I'm gonna have to make some preparations.' So he started practicing with his tennis racket/primary weapon, his martial arts skills, and his darkness magic. 'If I'm gonna fight someone, I gotta be ready. Also, I've got to remember to have the Darkstone handy just in case I kill whoever or whatever I fight. For to unlock it's full power, it needs living souls. And to get living souls, I need to kill living beings. Anything that lives will do. Especially if it's a strong fairy. Because I'll need to kill one strong fairy to unlock it's power. It doesn't matter what else I kill, I need to kill one strong fairy to unlock the Darkstone's true potential. And from what I hear, there is only one fairy strong enough to appease the Darkstone, and that she is the legendary Navi.'

As I waited for someone to do, well, anything, the rain started up again. I heard a scream from behind me and turned around in time to see Neru dissipate into the air.

Rin massaged her temples, she was getting irritated from all of the screaming. She didn't care that there may be potential enemies nearby, only...Rin's hues slowly turned towards the right, she saw a man. A man that she so recalled, even remembered. She smirked, "Uhm, I'll be right back." She grinned a sinister grin. She walked towards the dark figure, "My my have you grown." She whispered into the male's ear. The hair on the back of the male's neck instantly stood up, "Rin..." He whispered, she turned him around, "Oh, I waited to see you again." She smiled as she leaned in and kissed his lips, then slowly pulled back, and whispered into his ear, "Now my turn to take away what you hold so dear." Rin smiled as she pulled back completely. Her hands, however, still on his shoulders, "Shall we dance?" She asked, the male put his hand on her lower back.

They began to dance, Rin's hues sparkled as she waited for the right time. Her thoughts going insanely fast, and not wanting to stop, she knew exactly how she was going to kill him. At first she wanted to watch him die fast, but that would have taken the fun out of the torturing. Rin just couldn't stop smiling, as she now began to giggle, "Why...Oh why, did you have to take everything out of my life?!" She asked as her hues flickered, she leaned in and pressed her cold lips upon his neck. She knew that this wasn't going to look too pretty. But hey, she wasn't a lady. She nipped softly at his neck, before once again pulling away. Rin pulled out her gun, and aimed the barrel at his forehead...

Rin skipped back to the party, "Sorry, I thought I had saw something." She whispered, her lips were stained with blood, her hues the bright blue that had once been. She just smiled eerily, "By the way...Are we almost there?" She asked with a sly smile.

I noticed Rin leave, heard a noise, and noticed Rin come back, but my primary focus was the newcomer. I felt a pain/pressure grow underneath my right eye - meaning the only eye that was still residing inside my skull. Rin's words barely registered, but I heard something like where would we be going next.
"Not... sure... I don't have... a map," I stuttered.

Then, he saw some people up ahead, as well as a small winged orb of light that he didn't notice. "I hope they can help me." He ran up to the group."Hi, my name is Luigi. I've been looking for someone, but I got lost in this forest. Could you help me, please?"

A large bird-man suddenly hit the creatures with a beam of light and they vanished. She gratefully dropped her crowd illusion in time to see Neru scream and vanish. She must have gotten wet. Navi thought to herself. She noticed Rin coming back through the trees with blood on her mouth and asking "By the way...Are we almost there?" She was going to ask about the blood when a man in green came running up to them. For a moment she thought it was Link. Then he got closer and she realized that he looked nothing like Link.

"Hi, my name is Luigi. I've been looking for someone, but I got lost in this forest. Could you help me, please?", he asked.

With two newcomers, questions about the blood would have to wait. She dropped back out of the tree she had been in and told Rin, "Yes, we are here now. That's the entrance right there."

Rin looked towards the male. Dress all in green and tall. She chuckled, as she soon began to laugh at the male, but then stopped. She couldn't stop thinking that he looked like an F***ing Christmas tree. She silenced herself, as she wiped the blood away. And if anyone asked, she would just deny everything and say she was attacked. Rin just smiled, her abnormally enlarged incisors showed through her smile.

"Yes, are we almost there?" She asked with a soft tone in her voice. She looked towards the sun, her throat muscles soon tightened as she gulped. The trees were covering them pretty well, but when sun hit her hand, she immediately recoiled. Rin took the hoodie that was wrapped around her waist, and slipped the clothing over her body. Luckily the male wasn't much bigger than herself. She licked over her lips and licked away the last of the male's blood. Her body was now beginning to feel that urge, to run, or climb. As if she took a drug to make her feel more energetic.

Rin sighed softly, as she looked at her cuticles, and waited to press on.

((About two years ago, I was role playing with one of my best friends, we are still friends, by the way. But we role played together. My character at the time was Mika Nakashima, I even used her face as a playby. Her character was Mika's lover. Well, after time, my friend got bored with her character. And told me to pretend that she died. And seeing I get close to my characters, my heart broke. So, I changed Mika's name to Rin, to avenge the death of her lover. I made the fact that they were engaged, and Mika's lover died before her eyes. Mika was heartbroken that staying with the name Mika only orientated back to what she once was. But there is always a happy side. Mika or Rin, was saved multiple times by her lover. And even was changed to become a Vampire by her lover, to save her. But now that Rin is alone, and her lover is dead. Only one thing comes to mind: Revenge.))

Navi had rested enough by this time to feel strong enough for another illusion. Once again she generated her map with the last point of light on it which she hoped was Link. "I was sent to try to gather heroes to defend this world from a great evil. This spot on the map was the last place that I was told to look." She highlighted the nearby towns and cities. "Or we can go to one of these places if we need to buy any supplies."

Rin popped her neck, as she listened the female ramble on and on, "So you really think that we can find, these so called heroes?" Rin asked, as her mind was saying, "Great evil, your standing next to someone who is evil right now. But yet, I guess the blood that was on my lips and neck just a few hours before, didn't show that. I love being me." Rin grinned, as she rolled her eyes, "So, what? Are we going to just stand here, looking at our cuticles or are we actually to venture off into the wild blue yonder, and figure out our next move?" Rin is one impatient woman, she wanted to get things done, and fast.

Rin then began to hum, as she took a quick glimpse at the map, "Hmm, shall we go?" Rin began to walk towards the nearest town, "The best way to get answers, is to ask. Believe me, I've learned that very lesson." She turned her head back enough so she could wink and people could see.

"Well you know, this little hobble seems like a good place to stop," He pointed at a small settlement nearby. We'll have to go on foot though, and repair the tank tomorrow, under daylight. As if by pure coincidence, just as Falco spoke, the rain stopped, the clouds cleared, and the forest was once again lit by the stars.

Alex's POV:
"I agree. We need a place to stop, so why not?" I said, nodding and following Rin. I didn't exactly want to, but I wasn't coming up with any other ideas fast, so this was it. "Maybe we can figure out more about... everything if we go there."

Navi wasn't entirely comfortable following Rin, but the decision seemed to have been made. And she was not comfortable being a party leader. She began following Inona.

As the hastily assembled group drudged through the dew-covered forest, the sun began to rise. They reached the small town, which consisted of a few shops on a dirt-laden street, and a couple of shoddily put together shelters. "I'll go get some supplies," said Falco "feel free to look around." And although the entire village was in broad daylight, a silent and almost horrifying gloom hung over the area.

Rin scoffed as she could feel the people being uncomfortable around her, immediately she rolled her eyes. Soon enough they made their way into town. She smirked, "Have fun darling" She rolled her eyes, as she walked towards what she needed, a small tavern. "Have a good night, darlin." She spoke to the entire group. Rin finally could breathe, she slowly walked into the tavern, were everyone turn their head to see the new person, Rin didn't like people, she felt her throat muscles tighten and her jaw clench together as she tried to stop the tears from falling as they filled the rim of her soft blue hues, "You look like you could use a drink." Rin nodded, "You okay, stranger?" The bar keep asked, "No." Was Rin's only response. The bar keep smiled, "Well consider this on the house." Rin chuckled, and only nodded.

Rin slowly brought the shot glass to her lips, as she slowly shot back her drink. She smirked, "Mmm, another." She grinned, the male looked at her, "That is the strongest drink we have." Rin smirked, "Another." She demanded, "Alright." Rin just smiled innocently, as she turned her head just a little bit, she saw dancers coming to the stage, "What's going on?" The male smiled, "You came to town just in time. We have a festival going on. And usually people come all over to see the festival. We have dancers, music, and people just literally fall in love." He poured Rin another shot, "What are they? Some sort of belly dancers?" She asked, "Well you could say that. " He smiled, "But hey don't take my word on this, they are pretty amazing." Rin chuckled, as she took her next shot, and shot the drink back. Rin watched the females dance, as she continued to watch them, she realized that, yes they were belly dancers.

"Interesting." She whispered. She remembered the group that she was with, but this for some reason entertained a little more. She watched the females starting to dance in the aisles of the where the tables were. She could hear people cheering. Rin was smiling, actually smiling, she began to even tap the bar to the music. Rin watched how the women danced smoothly to the music. Rin knew that the group would soon look for her, she thought, "Eh they could enjoy the festival." She chuckled, as she took another shot of the drink that was being poured repeatedly, Rin slowly looked around, as she saw a female looking at her, Rin only rolled her eyes.

Background Story: Faten was blinded at birth, which hindered her to use her other senses, in which she can do every well. She has a sense when danger is around, and she can also hear for miles. She is a very strong woman, even with her frail looking body. She has been telling fortunes since she was five, and everything she has told has come true. But she doesn't give detail of how it will happen. And her time frame, is always saying "Soon, my dear". Faten is not to be taken lightly, for though she has a fragile frame, she is strong in heart, which her enemies underestimate, and usually their blood is spilled upon the sand.

Personality: Nice, sweet, sincere, modest, but when provoked, she can be very cruel.

Alex's POV:
Looking around to make sure no one - except those who were already aware - was watching me, I quickly changed into a wolf. I wasn't very sure how the citizens would react. Even on Ardintrea, humans are quite shocked when they see a fae transform for the first time; it's always hilarious. Of course, some people could think I was more of a pet, or a guardian, then a wild animal. I hoped they thought the former, although I had "bitten" the hand of a farmer's boy back home, when he tried to put a leash on me.
'We were close friends after that little incident,' I thought, chuckling to myself. Crazy boy.

((I have finally returned to this RP. Hope this post is satisfactory to anyone who reads it. By the way, does anyone mind my use of two POVs in one post? And, also, I PMed Riptide to ask him if Falco could be the colleague mentioned in Luigi's bio. He said yes, and he told me that I could god mod Falco. I don't think I'd be able to manage that on my own, so feel free to do so yourselves.))

Waluigi's POV:

"So you really think that we can find, these so called heroes?" 'Looking for heroes, eh? Hope Luigi isn't one of 'em...' thought Waluigi. "I think that they might be in that small town over there," Waluigi said. "From what I gather, there's some sort of festival goin' on. I also heard that said festival attracts people from all across the globe. So, even if they aren't there, we'll at least get a good show. So, whaddaya say we check it out?"

Luigi's POV:

'These guys are great! Not only are they helping me find Waluigi, but they also found my missing colleague, Falco!' thought Luigi with a smile. Then, he realized something quite alarming, 'Where's Rin? She's supposed to be with us! I knew I should've kept my eye on her.' he thought. 'I recall that, soon after she noticed me, she opened her mouth to show vampire-like teeth that only I seemed to notice. And she's covered by a thick veil of secrets. I don't know about the others, but I don't trust her one bit.'

Rin was drinking away and watched the dancers when she felt a soft hand against the back of her neck, "We do not get a lot of your kind. If I were to say, welcome to the west with a whisper of dreams, you would say?" Rin didn't look at the female, "I would say welcome to the East, were dreams can't come true, but fall to the plunder of death." Rin whispered, the woman leaned into Rin and whispered into her ear, "Your kind isn't welcomed here, you need to be careful. And I sense darkness around you, Rin." Rin felt a bolt of coldness rush through her body.

Rin finally turned around, she saw this beautiful woman, that was from Indian decent. She could tell, but she could also tell that she was blind. She slowly waved her hand before her eyes, "Waving your hand before these non seeing eyes, for these eyes may not be able to see. But these eyes can sense all that is around." Rin looked at her confused, "You are confused?" This unknown female asked, "Well, yeah, because. If you can not see, how can you tell that I am confused?" Rin asked, "The name is Faten, Rin. And I am sure you'll get all of your answers soon, but for the time being, enjoy the festival. And tell all your friends that have..." Rin cut her off, "Those people are not my friends, just acquaintances." Rin smirked, "So they are. I'll be seeing you soon, Rin." Faten stood and walked away, as if her eye sight was perfect.

Rin had no clue what just had happened, she shrugged the meeting off. And began to hum. She slowly stood, and paid for her drinks. Rin felt a thirst unlike any other, "Crap." She whispered, Rin looked around and saw a male going into the alley. She followed him, and began to cry. He went too ask what was wrong, and next minute he knew he was on the ground, getting his life being drained from him. Rin's hues were a very bright blue as she finished her feeding. Rin then wiped away the blood from her lips and chin, and walked out of the alley.

((It's been busy around our house, and now that he's out of school for the summer smbcfan has already gotten into sleeping all day and then staying up all night. (Ok, that's a small exaggeration...) And it seems as though every time I see the doctor I get put on yet another medication that has a side effect of "May cause drowsiness." Guess what? They do! I'm also not quite sure where everybody is, but I think I got this right: Alex/Inona was following Rin (in wolf form), Navi is following Alex, Falco wanted to get supplies, and Luigi is likely to follow the rest. I'm going to make a brief post, and see if I can get smbcfan to post something as well.))

Navi followed Inona toward the town. The festival sights, sounds, and smells distracted her for a moment, and she wondered if she should be embarrassed by the fact that she lost sight of Rin. She finally spotted a woman whom she thought might be Rin coming out of an alley near the door of a tavern.

((Hey, it's completely okay. I tend to get a bit antsy, though. I'm sorry to lay such a huge downer on everyone, but Riptide is leaving for now. He hasn't completely deserted us, but he won't be back for a while. He told me it was okay to "kill" off Falco. Ghost, could you tell smbcfan what's going on so that he doesn't feel left out when he returns? I think he was the one who asked riptide if he could godmod Falco for a while there... oh, and I'm not going to write Falco's death from a character perspective. It just feels... not right to do it that way...))

There was a groan from the woods. Moving quickly, Falco followed the noise, completely unknowing of what waited in the forest. There was a flash of steel and the flap of leather wings.
"Goodbye, birdie," the dark queen said before flying off into the night.

Rin popped her neck, as she looked around the inn, she rolled her eyes, "Doesn't this place just look, lovely." Rin sighed, she went up to the counter, "Yes, I'd like the biggest room you got." She sort of hissed, "Uh...Do you have 800 dollars?" Rin smirked, and handed the female 800 dollars, "Do I have 800 dollars? What kind of a question is that? Seriously. Are you a moron, or what?" Rin hissed, "Can you be anymore stubborn?!" Rin was getting pissed, the blood had now coursed through her veins. She slowly closed her eyes, and when she reopened them, she was completely calm, "Forgive me, I'm a bit..." The lady cut her off, "Hungry, that usually happens to me as well." Rin smiled, "Key please." Rin signed her name, and walked to her room.

Once getting to her Rin, looked around, and rolled her eyes, "Well, at least its big, that is all that matters, I hate small rooms." Rin whispered, she walked to the bed, and sat down. Her hues were now flickering, her hues were a bright blood red. She was letting her Vampiric side take over. She smirked, as she looked towards the mirror and saw nothing. "I'm sure if that group seen a mirror and saw nothing. That would surely tell them what exactly I am." Rin winked at her non-existing reflection. Rin smiled a smile sinister.

Waluigi's POV:
"I do believe that would be for the best," Inona said quietly. "If you would be so kind as to lead the way." "Alright, we just gotta follow this path here for about half a mile," I told her. "Then we turn right at the fork in the road and head down that path another quarter mile, and then we gotta head left at that fork in the road, and then we keep heading straight for 1 and a quarter miles until we reach the next fork in the road. At that point, we head down the left path for 2 more miles until we reach the fourth and final fork in the road. Then we head right for 3 miles until we reach the town." Then I said, "That is a total of 7 miles. It would take a lot of time and energy to reach the town on foot, so it's highly recommended that we find some form of transport." Finally, I asked her, "Do you know of a good mode of transport?"

Luigi's POV:
'No one seems to notice that Rin is missing, except maybe that blue fairy.' I thought to myself as I went after the others. 'I think that I should point this out to the others.' Then I said aloud, "Has anyone else noticed that Rin has been missing for a while now?"

Inona's POV:
"Form of transport? Why yes, I believe I do," I said, curling my lip distastefully. This option was... unfortunate, at least for me, but if I wanted to get anywhere soon, I would have to just do it. Another pro to this method was the fact that I wouldn't need directions to the village. Closing my eyes, I concentrated very hard on a mental image of a large, black dragon.
"This shall be sufficient, yes?"

If it's heads, I'll look for Falco, Waluigi and some food. If tails, I'll look for Rin, Waluigi, and some food. And, coin flip!' It landed on tails. 'Well, guess I'm looking for Rin. Eh, I never liked Falco anyways. Way too cocky. I'll tell the others that I'm going off to look for her.' "Hey, guys! I'm gonna go look for Rin! See you later!" I told them, then I went to a nearby hotel to ask about Rin's location. The woman at the front desk was pretty forthcoming with the info. "That crazy woman?" she said, "She's in room 12. Good luck with her madness." I thanked her and rushed to room 12, which I noticed was larger than the other rooms, but that's not important. I knocked at the door, and awaited whoever or whatever dwelled on the other side...

Rin had her earbuds in, she was blaring music. Rin was humming to the music. She grabbed a pair of pants, and stood before the mirror, and just chuckled. She just saw floating pants. She popped her neck, she slowly began to dance to the music that was blaring in her ears. She was trying to keep herself calm, due to the fact this group was so naive. Rin slowly walked to the small refrigerator, and grabbed a small bottle. She then went over to her jacket, and poured a little of the blood that she in a vile. She slowly turned the bottle, mixing the blood within the Tequila. "Mmm, just how I like it." She whispered, as she shot back the small dinky bottle, she heard a knock at the door. Rin slowly wiped away her lips. Rin's hues were now a bright blue. She looked around, and immediately grabbed a blanket to cover up the mirror. Then straightened up the room.

Rin walked to the door, and slowly opened hearing the hinges creak softly, "Oh, hey Luigi." She whispered, "Come in." She stated, and stepped aside letting the male in.

Faten was pacing in her room, she knew her room very well. She heard her roommate knock at the door, "Faten...Faten." The woman spoke twice, Faten reached out her hand trying to find the doorknob, when she did find the doorknob, she slowly turned the handle, "You're not going with that beast, are you?" Her roommate asked, "I must. She needs to be protected. She is very strong, and her group will need her." Faten whispered, "But she is...You know what." Faten shook her head, "I know, I know this. Do you not remember that I can see, things people can't?! I was born this way! A curse, and she too was cursed." Faten spat out, she slowly turned, and walked around her table.

"Faten, then please be careful, and also, bring your Kukri. You'll need it." Her friend spoke, "I know. I'll be getting ready soon." Faten stated, "For she hasn't gotten ready. But she is hiding herself very well. Trying at all costs, make people to think she is normal, and she needs too. If word gets out she is something else, she will be hunted, and surely killed. Or if the Evil finds out, they will do what it takes to make her turn on her group, and she will surely kill them." Faten whispered as she turned her head to "look" out the window.

Alex's POV:
I returned to the main group just as Luigi muttered something about Falco missing and then went to find Rin. I hadn't been too worried when Falco went off by himself, but it had been a while. I paced slowly into the forest, following the scent trail. A twig cracked somewhere in the forest and I froze, one paw poised in the air. I hoped Navi was monitoring the map still - I didn't want to attack a potential ally. I waited... and waited... and slowly lowered myself to the ground to reduce visibility. I caught an unfamiliar scent on the wind that passed as quickly as it came. I continued to creep slowly toward Falco position. In the next second, all reserve and caution I had was gone. I smelled blood, and lots of it.

Falco lay dead on the ground. I couldn't scent the attacker over all of the blood - pungent, blood is. Nothing, besides two scrapes on the ground, maybe wings brushing the ground during take off. I howled loudly to attract attention - I wasn't sure why. There was nothing that could be done now. I howled again, more urgently.

'Well, I'd better stay on her good side if I don't want to be burnt to a crisp.' I told myself as it finally sunk in that Inona can turn into a dragon. Then I wondered, 'What's Luigi up to?'

The door opened with a creak, and Rin's imposing (at least to me) figure stood in the doorway. "Oh, hey Luigi," she whispered. "Come in," She told me, stepping out of the doorway into her room. "Hi, Rin," I whimpered as I stepped into the room. "How are you?" Then my stomach grumbled loudly. "Oh, and do you have anything to eat? I'm starving." I fearfully awaited her response...

((Good lord, I'm sorry guys! Way too long! Unfortunately, I can't really do anything unless Prince of Darkness comes back on. I'm going to as if we can godmod Rin until she gets back.))

Rin looked at Luigi, and rolled her eyes, "Sure, why not. And make yourself at home." Rin said with a sigh, she walked over too the chair and sat down, "I am so surprised that anyone really cares about me. Nonetheless, why would anyone care about me. It's quite odd to care for a monster, wouldn't you say?" Rin asked with a devilish snare of a grin. Rin just sat there watching Luigi, "So did the others send you? Or did you come here on your own?" She asked with a somewhat of a warm smile. Now Rin sat there silently, as she took in a deep breath. Her hues scanned outside the window of her hotel room, as she tried keep her tears at bay. Though she was strong and tough on the outside, that didn't help what she felt on the inside. Rin sighed ever so softly, as she kept her mouth shut, and her mind closed. She waited for Luigi to eat, and say something.

Luigi's POV:
"So did the others send you? Or did you come here on your own?" "I came on my own accord. And it's not odd to care for a monster." I told her. "In fact, some of my best friends are monsters!" I said, thinking of Birdo, Yoshi, and all of the friendly Goombas and Koopas from his world, as well as that friendly Chain Chomp that my brother recently met. Then, I said, "I'd love to help you, that is, if you want my help." I awaited her response...

Rin just released a soft sigh, as she looked back towards the male, "A monster is someone that has killed either with or without an ideal of revenge. A monster is someone that takes an innocent life, because they no longer care of their own. A monster is someone that will stop at nothing to take away from others, to heal what was taken from them. I, Luigi, am a monster. I do not care for those around me, not anymore at least. I have lost all ties with my humanity. For I am no longer what people would see as that." Rin whispered, "And if you could help, I would ask for it. However, the only thing that can help me, is myself. And my well being of trying to refuse what has become my chain to the ground. You see, Luigi, something awful happened to me." Rin sighed, as she took in a deep breath, her hues began to fill with tears as she looked out the window, "I was once engaged, I had everything. I was a big star, a singer. Everyone loved me, for the person on stage. But there was one that loved me for the person I was. Her name was Schuyler Van Dawn. She was the love of my life. We were engaged, and..." Rin paused, "She was killed the day before our wedding. You see, Schuyler...Wasn't. How do I explain this? She wasn't of this world, and to date my kind. She was tormented by people that wanted me dead. And soon enough her as well. We fought so many beings off, but this time, we loss. I had to watch them kill her." Rin's voice on the verge of breaking, "But uhm, she fought until her final breath. When they thought she was dead, they ran off. I went to her..." Rin's voice finally cracked, "I went to her, and begged her to hold on, even offered my arm for a tasty bite. But she was already too far gone. Her final words to me, were....I love you, Mika, never stop being who you are. You are the love of my life. And all I ask now...Is please smile for me."

Rin took a moment, "And I did, I smiled the warmest smile. I said my I love yous as well. And we kissed, and that is when I felt her go limp in arms. I begged that God would take my soul, instead of her's. I held her for hours. People by then were crying with me, because they saw my pain." Rin felt the tears slowly roll down her cheeks, "My name is Mika. That is my name I was born with. But I changed it too Rin, because I was hoping that maybe that would take away the pain. It just brings more and more." Rin whispered.Rin was now silent, she didn't mum another word.

Navi didn't really like the way everyone was splitting up, but she didn't feel that it was her place to argue. She decided to play with her pokeball while she waited for them to return. After much experimentation she discovered that she could go into it. It was rather interesting in there, but kind of bare. She finally found a button which she was able to hit and let herself back out. This was fun! She went in and out a couple more times, and then heard a wolf's howl. She flew off in the direction of the howl, and saw that "Anora" had found Falco. Probably a bit too late to be much help to him, though. Luigi and Rin were still missing.

"I've never tried to heal anything this severe before." she commented. "I don't even know if I can. But I'm willing to try." She dropped her pokeball on the ground. "I discovered that I can go into and out of this thing, so if I pass out I'll try to go into it to be easier to carry. (And some day I hope I'll figure out how it works!) "

She turned toward Falco and began pouring her day's supply of healing energy into him.

She was also much paler and dimmer than she had been. "Bet'tr ge him to h's whatsit so he c'n rest." She looked at the pokeball. "Nd th'n I th'nk I need rest, too."

Inona's POV:
Waluigi clambered up onto my back - I tried my best not shudder. Filth, filth everywhere... Opening my great, black wings, I took off into the night sky. I had forgotten how easy it was to see things up in the air; no restrictions, nothing holding me back... as if I followed rules anyways.
"There!" Waluigi said, pointing down to a small village. That's where they were staying? Interesting... maybe it would be prudent to hang back and watch for a while...

Alex's POV:
I was amazed at what Navi could do. Not even the strongest healers of my people could bring back the dead, else the shaman army would be ours again. Still slightly shocked, I placed the orb back on the ground.

Inona's POV:

It appeared they had discovered my little "present." The small blue fairy was apparently stronger than I had thought. I growled deep in the back of my throat, half-forgetting the presence of Waluigi. I had a feeling that I would either need to attack them soon, or hunt down one of the other "heroes."
"What's wrong?" asked Waluigi from behind me.
"Everything. Are you up for a little bit of destruction?" I snarled.

Alex's POV:

As I watched Navi enter the orb, I was almost sure I had heard a growl, somewhere not too far away. I peered up through the leaves of the trees, trying to catch a glimpse of something- anything. A flash a black across the sky, but I was unsure whether it was a genuine threat, or just a falling leaf.

Falco slowly awoke from his faint state, and his eyes were drawn to the flash of black light. He said in a weary voice, "Look there." He began to draw his gun, but collapsed under the lack of energy. Suddenly, there was a flash of bright light, and the shadows carried away Waluigi with surprising ease.

Rin with a smirk growing among her craving lips. Almost as a knife was carving into her perfect porcelain skin. Rin watched Luigi just disappear. Blood began to slowly roll down her chin, as she walked to the edge of her balcony of her hotel room. She turned towards the maid, and laughed with hysteria, her cackle echoed through the streets below her. Rin's right ring finger slowly ran over her bottom lip, she slowly let her tongue trace over the blood stained finger, "Hmm, I do suppose that I should find this wonderful 'group' I am in." Rin whispered with a soft hush of her voice. As she walked out of the room, she placed a hundred dollar bill against the dead maid's body, Rin slowly knelt down, "That'll be all, love." Rin skipped merely out of the hotel room.

Rin slowly got her bearings, and she could sense the rest of the group. She dashed as fast as she could, until she could feel Alexandria's aura, with a smirk upon her lips. Her arms were suddenly wrapped around Alexandria's thin frame like a snake wrapping their body around their next victim, and with a light whisper, "Miss me?"

Alex's POV:
I froze as Rin embraced me. If embrace was even the right word. I immediately froze, waiting for an opening - whether for attack, or for escape, I had no idea. I wasn't going to leave Navi and Falco, who were still recovering, though. But I felt so tired, and sluggish. Something about this place was massing with my head, and I didn't like it. A lightning bolt raced down from the sky, striking at my feet. I could have sworn I heard a dragon's cry form above.

Inona's POV:
The lightning bolt came out of nowhere. Alex had to have known I was there, da**it. I swerved to the right, shrieking my battle cry, preparing to dive where the lightning had hit. If there were no more interruptions, they would die tonight.

((Okay, so here's an idea! Link goes to the village because of the "dragon sightings" and the odd group of travelers that seem responsible. Thoughts, suggestions?))

Rin whispered ever so softly into Alexandria's ear, "Do I frighten you, my dear?" Rin then slowly pulled back, as she watched the lightning touch down before the woman's feet. Rin shrugged, "This is absolutely sad. A world that crushes man...Wait, this would be rather exciting." Rin whispered, until she heard the loud gasp from a mysterious loud creator. Of whom she didn't believe in. At first, before she was transformed, and before she had fallen in love with one, Rin didn't even believe in Vampires. In fact, she thought a myth such as that, could never come to life, nor too light. And how wrong she was. Now she was a prisoner of the darkness, and thirst for human blood. That even now she craved.

Rin took in a deep breath, and with the release of her breath, she sighed. "So, whatever, shall we do? Shall we stand here, gazing at the darkness? Or shall we go skipping merely and investigate whatever that sound was? I say let us skip merely. I rather love a good show." Rin giggled ever so evilly with her statement. Rin then paused for a slight moment, "Or you take rest, as I watch out for 'potential danger', seeing you are rather tired my dear." Rin whispered, her hand slowly wrapped around Alexandria's eyes, and slowly covering them. Rin slowly lowered the limp body to the ground. "Rest now, darling. For tomorrow, we take heed and venture towards where ever that beast went." Rin slowly made a fire, as she sat down. Her crimson hues took the flame into her eyes, as if the flames were making a sweet dance with her soul.

((Yes, Rin has that awesome power to make anyone sleep. So, yeah. I thought seeing Alexandria was tired. Rin would just help her out. If it is a problem, I could always edit that part. .-.))

Navi was resting inside the pokeball when she heard a reptilian scream from outside. She started to emerge to see what was happening, but discovered that she was still very tired, and there was a lot of dark magic from the direction of the cry. She decided to keep resting inside the pokeball and just listen while she prepared herself. Rin was back. She didn't like having to trust her, but there seemed to be little choice at the moment. If an attack came, she would do her best to enhance Rin's combat skills and hope that Rin was a reliable guard.

Link had been traveling for a while, something about... dragons? in one of the small villages outside the forest. He wasn't exactly sure how there was one; he was sure they had all retreated beyond the mountains a long time ago.

Either way, he was tired, and just wanted to stop somewhere for the night. The rumors of some odd travelers in the same town where he was weren't improving his mood at all.

It was nightime. Falco awoke - Wide-eyed on a bed. He looked at his wounds - they were healed. Just then, he heard a rustling in the curtains, out on the balcony. He looked around a spotted a revolver on the night table. Quietly cocking the gun, he cautiously advanced onto the balcony. As soon as his foot was out the room, he was lifted by a black shadow. He looked up and fired his revolver. The shadow let, and crash into the floor below, while Falco fell into the street.

Rin took in a deep breath, feeling the icy air fill her throat and lungs. She slowly stirred upward as she heard a twig snap in the woods. She turned to see who this person was. And surely enough, she knew the male very well. She felt her body tense up immediately, "Well, look as decided to grace me with his disgraceful face." Rin heard that snicker that she hated so much, "Well, well, my darling Mika, how would I have known that you were a poet? And I am so glad that poem was for me, my dear." The male showed his face in the light, "Drake, go away. Just go." Rin snapped, "Interesting group of 'friends' you've made, my dear child. I love them. One in a 'harmless' ball. And the others passed away in the dream world. You know why I am here, don't you?" Drake asked, "Yes, too kill me. Something you had forgotten to do, awhile back." Drake laughed to Rin's statement, "Mika, Mika. You haven't changed a bit. Are you still that upset that I killed your fiancee? You have yet to forgive me. Oh, dear child. I have yet to do anything to you."

Rin snapped, her hues became a bright crimson, her hues almost were glowing. "You took the only thing that every f***ing mattered to me! You sick b******!! How can you lie?!" Rin hollered, "Oh, keep your voice down, we wouldn't want your newly found 'friends' to hear you, and your hateful words, would we?" Drake asked with a soft smile, "This ends here, and now, Drake." Drake smiled ever so warmly towards Rin's words, "As you wish." Drake snapped his arm downward, letting his sword emerge, "After you. After all, I show follow your lead, dear child." Rin grew even more angry, as her sword appeared in her hand.

"Let us tango!" Rin yelled, as she went at her attack. With one arm behind Drake's back, he blocked the swords blow, he pushed up against Rin, "Is that all you got? Let the hate for me fuel you." Drake laughed, he then felt a sting against his face, "You little harlot!" Drake spat out, and soon they were fighting through the trees, the loud clashing swords, sounded like ice slithering down metal, making a cracking sound with ever strike of the sword, "COME ON MIKA! SHOW ME HOW MUCH YOU HATE ME!" Drake screamed. Rin continued her assault. Her sword continued to be blocked, then Drake began to attack her. Her sword continued to block his sword, "COME ON DRAKE SHOW ME HOW MUCH YOU WANT ME DEAD!" Rin screamed.

Soon enough there was two loud gasps, Drake and Rin plummeted to the ground, Drake looked at Rin, "This isn't over yet, Mika." Drake stated as he ran through the woods. Rin slowly stood, only to collapse to one knee, "You are right, Drake. It'll never be over until one of us is dead." She whispered, as she dropped her sword. Rin's hand went up to her side, when pulling her hand away, she saw blood smothering her hand, Rins gasps just only showed how badly she was hurt. "Son of..." Rin whispered. She slowly stood, and grabbed her sword, and managed to drag herself back to the camp site. She sat before the fire, and only squinted to the pain, "What...The hell did he stab me with?" She asked herself, "I..I am not healing fast enough." Rin whispered, she slowly took a better look, and saw a dagger still piercing her. Rin slowly pulled out the dagger, only letting a gasp of pain fill the night air.

As Falco plummeted between the buildings, he remembered his wing had healed. He spread his wings without noting his direction, and flew through the glass a few stories below his balcony, rolling across the floor and hitting the door of the hotel room. He slowly got up, and with his hands on his revolver, he unlocked the door and walked out. Slowly jogging up the stairs to the floor where the shadow flew through the window, Falco climbed through the hallway and noted a room with a dent in it's door. He tried the knob, which opened quite easily and walked in, expecting to find the shadow. All he saw inside was broken glass and curtains flailing in the wind. As he examined the room, the shadowy figure attacked him from above. He got his first glance at it. The deafening scream it made came from deep within it's laced throat and behind it's jagged teeth. He rolled onto his side, and got up, shooting it with his revolver. The thing screamed and lunged at him, knocking the gun out of his hand.

He whispered under his breath, then jumped out the shattered window. Within seconds, a large machine flew into the air and fired at the room with rounds the size of arms. The shadow was gutted, but quickly regrew itself and flew away into the darkness.

Alex's POV:
I woke up, slightly dizzy. There was this deafening clanking, screaming and the smell of smoke. I staggered to my feet, coughing at the vile smell and drawing my sword. In the back of my mind, I knew that was as stupid as... well, a lot of things, but I was so confused. What was happening?

And at that precise moment, a dragon screamed. I swore furiously and stumbled to where I assumed it had come from, remembered Navi inside her orb, swore again and picked it up. I got out of the forest, almost dragging myself across the ground. There was fire everywhere, some kind of giant metal thing, floating and shooting at a building, and a rather large swarm of Spectre shamans chasing people.

Great.

((Okay, for now, I'm giving everyone free godmodding of Inona, because... well, she's a giant, angry dragon who's rampaging. So, feel free to use her, and Link has officially joined the... I don't know, roster?))

Rin heard the dragon, but she had more things to worry about. Rin was still not healing. In fact by now Rin was coughing up blood. "Wh..What the f***?" Rin was even gasping, she slowly stood. Her body was now slowly shutting down, the blood that was drenched on her hand was now dried. But her body? She was still bleeding out. "...D...Do..." Rin whispered, her words weren't even coming out right. She began to walk into the woods once again. "So, they no longer care for you?" A familiar voice rang out, "And yet, you just protected them. Not even a thanks." The male slowly revealed himself once again, "Drak....Drake...What did you do too me?" Rin asked as she coughed up blood, "I only did what, I do best. I injured you to the point, I now can kill you. But seeing you like this, much more fun." Drake stated with an eerie grin, "Mika, dear, do they know you are of Vampire Race now? Or do they not know? Pathetic." Drake walked closer to Rin, and kicked where she was injured, a yelp came from her lips. Rin immediately was now on her knees and hands, and Drake kicked her in the ribs. "Come on, you b****! Beg for mercy!" Drake yelled, "N...No." Rin whispered.

Drake kicked harder, and Rin coughed up more blood, "BEG!" He screamed again, "All I have to do is stab you again. Look, they are more worried about a d*** dragon. And yet, the one person that is now dying, they do not care about. Almost what happened with Schuyler and you. She was so selfish, and she died. Leaving you alone." Drake laughed, "And yet, you try your hardest to please everyone. And yet, no one cares about your existence." Drake smirked, then kicked Rin once again, Rin immediately grabbed her ribs, "You know what? I want to watch you suffer. You'll heal, eventually. But I want to hear you scream when your ribs begin to heal." Drake kicked as hard as he could, making three ribs break within Rin's body. Drake then picked her up, "Why not show your 'friends' how hurt you are?!" Drake screamed as he threw her hard enough to get her near the camp site. Drake ran back to Rin, and picked her up and slammed her to the ground. "Oh, by the way. The dragon isn't what they need to worry about." Drake leaned in, Rin slowly looked at him, with her crimson hues gone, and brown replaced the crimson, "They should be worrying about you. Because if you thirst, what will you do? Or what if you die? Maybe you should die, after all, it would be a beautiful moment when you and Schuyler meet again. Tear tear, my dear." Drake hit Rin one more time, knocking her out. Rin was now beyond weak, she was now actually bleeding out, and her ribs were now broken. Her breathing was more like wheezing as if she couldn't catch her breath.

Spectres overran the town, but it wasn't enough. I wanted them all to burn, or be ripped apart, or be anything except for alive. Most of them were injured, but it just wouldn't be enough. I would raze this village to the ground.

((Just so you all know. I was very emotional writing this post. Because it brought back a lot of amazing memories with my friend. And all of what we did together. But what got me the most, was how many times Schuyler came back for Mika [Or Rin]. And she never gave up on her. And when my friend and I wrote out Schuyler's death, I so bawled my eyes out. So, yeah there are a lot of characters that will be posted in this post. So bare with me. I wish I could put the talking in different colors. But yeah here we go. Now, be forewarned, Erzsebet is one of the biggest foes that Mika [Rin] will have to face. And you'll see in this post, on why I had gotten emotional. And after this post, I'll wait for others too post again.))

An eerie smirk rushed against the gorgeous woman's features, "What has you gotten you all smiles?" Vhonda asked her master, "Oh, well, nothing, my dear. Just the fact, Mika is rather weak. I wish to mark her. I wish...Well, you know the rest, my dear." Erzsebet stood from her chair in the parlor, "And is this something that you keep on thinking about, milady?" Vhonda asked, "Why of course, dear child. I've always wanted Mika. After all, she has to be the most stubborn, yet, she has a very strong mind and heart. Alas, Drake wanted her, Rayne as well, then of course, there is myself." Erzsebet grinned slowly, "I think I want to let her mind go into torment. I want her to relive every single moment she had of happiness. And of course, she will have to relive Schuyler. Oh, what a joyous occasion." Erzsebet whispered, as she looked down at Mika, "Rest now dear child, at least now, you'll have everything you want." Erzsebet whispered. As she watched Mika begin to dream of Schuyler, she only knew this because of the smile on her lips.

"Yoshi! Yoshi!" Mika screamed, "What what?!" Yoshi asked with a smile, "I got a kiss from one hot chick." Yoshi grinned, "Oh, details details." Mika giggled then blushed, "Well, her name is Schuyler..." Yoshi cut her off, "Uh, I thought you were with a girl named, Pearl?" He asked, Mika sighed, "I know its wrong, but it felt so right." Mika whispered, "Well, go on, girl." Yoshi smiled, "She makes my heart beat slow then fast, at the same time." Mika grinned with happiness in her eyes. Mika was surely beyond happy at this point. Though Mika knew Schuyler was already taken, their kiss felt so right.

"Mika, I am with a man named Hyde. But I will never regret our kiss." Schuyler whispered too Mika. Mika smiled then went to the bathroom, as she slid down the door, and began to cry. "Please...Hyde never hurt her. Please make her happy. Never harm her." Mika whispered, "Please let her find someone that make her happy." Schuyler whispered. Mika slowly left the bathroom, and went to the balcony, and lit up a cigarette. And took a drag. Schuyler immediately went too Mika, and grabbed the cigarette from Mika's lips, and threw the cigarette off the balcony, "Those are bad for you." Schuyler stated, then immediately kissed Mika, Schuyler smiled, "Be with me." Mika looked confused at Schuyler, "What do you mean?" Mika asked, "Be my girl, and I'll be yours." Schuyler smiled, "What about Hyde?" Mika asked, "He loves me enough to do this for me." Schuyler stated.

-------------------------------Years Later In Mika's Dream---------------------

"I am going to kill the one person that means the most too you." Drake stated, "NO! Please...Please take me instead!" Mika yelled, and as Drake walked away, Schuyler went up and snapped his neck. She immediately grabbed Mika's hand, and ran off. But Schuyler knew that Drake wasn't dead. Mika smiled, as she kissed Schuyler. Schuyler of course returned the kiss. "Oh! I wanted to show you something!" Mika exclaimed, "What is it?" Schuyler asked with a warm smile. Mika took Schuyler out into a very dark carriage, where there was no light shinning through. They went to a small park, and when they got out, Schuyler could actually feel the sun rays, "I took you here, so you could feel the sun again." Mika stated, Schuyler immediately hugged Mika, "Thank you." Schuyler stated.

Days later, Mika took Schuyler to an Opera, and soon enough Schuyler was on the stage singing, so beautifully. The cast was asking Schuyler so many questions, and soon enough she heard a soft tone coming from the stage, Mika was playing the violin. Schuyler leaned up against the wall, and listened too Mika play, "You are really good, Mika." Mika chuckled too Schuyler's words, "Not as good as you." Mika stated.

--------------------------------Years Later In Mika's Dream------------------

"GACKT!" Mika yelled, they were in Mika's club, and they were dancing in the cage. Schuyler and Reira were sitting in a booth, drinking. Gackt got out of the cage and immediately kissed his fiancee. Gackt smiled towards Schuyler, knowing that she was in love with his friend. Soon enough Mika and Schuyler were dirty dancing on the dance floor. And Gackt and Reira were dirty dancing on the dance floor. Mika smiled as she was ever so close too Schuyler. Soon all four were turned on, and they all went to a different office. Mika and Schuyler made love. And Gackt and Reira made love.

Everything seemed fine, until a very powerful Countess walked in, everyone immediately bowed, "Oh, look a Van Dawn." Erzsebet stated, as she began to put a spell on Mika, "Back off! She is mine!" Schuyler yelled, "I don't see a mark claiming her too yours, Schuyler." Erzsebet stated, and soon enough Schuyler sank her fangs into Mika, changing her life forever.

--------------------------------Once Again Years Later----------------------------

Years had passed, Mika and Schuyler had been through so much. Mika had been in a lot of comas as well. She was shot, beat, but yet, Schuyler never gave up on her. By this time, Mika and Schuyler were engaged. Their life seemed so perfect, now that people had stopped coming after them, or so they thought. Schuyler smiled so warmly at Mika, "You know I love you, right?" Schuyler asked, Mika smiled, "Yes of course, and you know I love you, right?" Mika asked, "You have never let me forget it." Schuyler stated, but she froze, as she pulled Mika behind her. Mika grabbed Schuyler's shoulder, and soon enough they were split up. Mika was already on the ground, bleeding.

Schuyler fought as hard as she could, Mika had to watched Schuyler get stabbed repeatedly, "SCHUYLER!" Mika screamed, "SCHUYLER!" Mika screamed again. Once they thought they had killed Schuyler, the men took off. Mika slowly got up and ran over too Schuyler, and pulled her into her arms, "Schuyler, baby. Don't go. Please...Please don't leave me." Mika whispered, she felt Schuyler's hand reach up to her cheek, "You are so beautiful, Mika." Schuyler whispered, "Schuyler, please...Please bite me, and drink. I can't lose you." Mika was crying so hard by this time, "Mika...I love you so very much." Schuyler whispered.

Mika's heart was breaking, "I love you so very much too, Schuyler." Mika stated, as she looked at Schuyler, "Please..I am begging you too hold on. Please." Mika looked around, "PLEASE SOMEONE HELP US!!!" Mika screamed, and she felt her face turn, "Never change, Mika. Never stop being yourself. Be that amazing woman I met. You are so very strong, and you make me so very happy." Schuyler stated, "I will never stop, nor will I ever change." Mika stated, "]Mika...Will you please do one thing for me[/B]?" Schuyler asked, "Yes anything." Mika responded, "Smile for me." Mika nodded, as she tried her hardest to smile, soon she felt Schuyler's lips against her own. Their last kiss. Mika then felt Schuyler go limp in her arms.

"No...No no no!! Please Schuyler! Please! Don't go! Don't leave me! PLEASE!!! PLEASE!!" Mika was hunched over Schuyler, and she was now crying into Schuyler's neck, Mika then looked into her hand, and saw Schuyler's necklace, "Please...Please Schuyler come back. I can't live without you...."

Rin slowly awoke, "Schuyler...." Rin whispered, as she felt her heart break again. She let her hand rest on her side. Rin softly gasped, "I..I love you..." Rin whispered, "I..I wish it had been me...You deserve to be in this world, not I..." Rin began to cry, her body began to shake, as her tears began to flow a little harder down her perfect porcelain face.

Erzsebet turned on her heel, and walked away with an evil grin on her features, "What a perfect night."

Nothing she does is in a light sense.)) She doesn't care for human life, nor anyone's life for that matter. All she cares about is eternal youth and making Rin her own.

Erzsebet asked as she entered her castle, "You do realize, that we have a lot work to be done. And yet, you stand about, thinking you own the place. IS IT NOT I, WHO OWNS THIS CASTLE?! IS IT NOT I, WHO GIVES YOU DIRTY HARLOTS A PLACE TO SLEEP!? IS IT NOT I, WHO GIVES YOU FOOD!? If it is I, then I suggest you get your weary and disgusting bones working!" Erzsebet screamed, and everyone began to work, "Milady." Erzsebet turned to see her servant that had been loyal over the many years, "Why, yes?" Erzsebet asked, "If I may so bold, why not give them a days rest?" The female asked, she yelped loudly. She rose her right hand to her cheek. Blood began to roll down her face where Erzsebet smacked her ever so hard, "You may be bold, yes. But to speak to me, as if you are my owner, will surely not do." Erzsebet spat into the female's open wound, "Back to work." Erzsebet stated as she walked into her parlor.

She sat down, with her right leg now crossing over her left, in her right hand was wine glass that was filled with blood, her left held a book. And the warmth of the fire, warmed up even her cold heart. "Milady..." Erzsebet turned her head ever so slightly, "Yes?" She asked, "Milady, is there a reason why you are acting in a distraught manner?" The female asked, "Is this your business? Or is it mine alone?" Erzsebet asked, as she slammed her book shut, "Darling, you are pushing towards my very last caring nerve." Erzsebet stated, "But if you wish to know. Let it be known now, that after this. You'll never be able to mum another word." Erzsebet sat her wine glass down, as the sound of metal rubbing against metal echoed in the still air. Her shears were now pointing at the servant.

"You see, I ran into Mika. Or her name now is, Rin. Pathetic, wouldn't you say? Anyway, I shall have her as my little pet. For there is no Schuyler Van Dawn. For you see, Van Dawn Family and The Bathory Family, has never gotten along. So, in a blood filled rage, I was the one who had killed her. Not another living being, but I." Erzsebet stated, "Now, open your mouth and say ahhh." Erzsebet stated, the servant showed only fear in her eyes, "Please milady! I am sorry! I didn't mean to speak to you with an ill tongue! I just wanted to make sure you were okay." The female servant pleaded, "Though your intentions were good, darling." By this time Erzsebet had the girl's tongue between her fingers, "I am afraid I do not lie, about my intentions."

The girl collapsed to the ground, as her mouth was drenched in blood, "At least, I know how to make sure you do not bleed to death, now begone." Erzsebet stated as she now sat before the fire once again, her hues embraced the flame, "Be forewarned, Mika, you shall be mine. And if your little precious 'friends', get in my way. Let them know that death will be upon them as well." Erzsebet smirked a rather evil smirk as she watched the fire.

((Once again, I'm really sorry that I haven't been active on this! I'm taking part in the Casting Call contest, and I'm going to be focusing on school until next week. After that I have two weeks off, and I'll be able to (hopefully) be more active on here, but I have been having a huge lack of inspiration lately.

So, this kind of brings me to some potentially bad news, that I particularly don't want to have to deal with.

I'm probably not going to be able to keep up with this. Which means that someone is either going to need to replace me, or this RP is going to be deemed inactive. To be completely honest, it's barely active, and that's mostly my fault. I've been a slacker, and haven't been keeping up with the responsibilities on here, no matter how "insignificant" they seem compared to real life. If I'm being completely honest about myself, I would be the last person I chose to lead anything. I have a hard time telling other people what to do, or even giving suggestions.

I'm very sorry, and the last thing I want to do is leave anyone in the lurch, so I'm going to try and pull through over the next few weeks, and I'll let that at least help determine my final decision.

So, as a very long, half-answer to a short question, I believe that Alex is stumbling around the village, and I think she has Navi's pokeball(maybe), Inona is rampaging above the village, Waluigi is with Inona and Luigi met Alex somewhere in the village. I think Link is not too far from the village, but that may have just been an idea that popped into my head once))

Navi heard Luigi's voice saying "Please. She needs help! Rin is hurt! I think she is dying"

Rin. The one who keeps going off by herself and coming back with blood on her mouth. I'm still tired, and there is dark magic out there. Not to mention a huge dragon...

But she is one of us.

But some of the ones we were led to left us. And we were in the right place for her to find us. That could count, too.

Can I leave her to die?

Navi reluctantly left the safety of the Pokeball. "Show me where she is."

Luigi turned and began to run. "This way." Navi flew after him, hoping that she had recovered enough strength to make a difference.

They found Rin on the floor, moaning and surrounded by blood. She was still alive, fortunately. Navi poured enough healing energy into her to stabilize her, and was relieved to see that she was starting to heal quite rapidly herself now that the process had begun. She continued until Rin was recovered.

Rin took in a deep breath, as she looked towards Navi. She wasn't really all there. "W...Why would you help a monster?" Rin asked in a groggy voice, as she felt her body begin the healing process, and surely enough Rin began to stand slowly. Rin sighed softly, as she rubbed her neck softly, "Thank you..." Rin mustered ever so softly, as she began to dust herself off slowly. Rin looked around, then sighed. She knew deep down her wonderful enemies were coming for her. One was far worse than the rest.

Erzsebet snarled, "So, her little 'friends' are now helping her?! Every moment I get close to making her mine, she gets help. First from Schuyler and now...Well, these people..." Erzsebet suddenly grinned, "Milady...What is it? What has become of your mind?" Erzsebet servant asked, "Do not fret, child. Mika, shall be mine, wether or not, her little precious 'friends', are ready for me. First, I'll let Drake take his run. I know he'll die. Easy. As for the rest, such as Rayne. That shall be easy as well. But if I, continue to play and trick her mind, and believe that I was the one who had change her. Then, I, shall be the victor. And, well, poor 'Rin' will be under my control and her 'friends' will be no more." Erzsebet sighed, "If this is to become, I'll need to make Mika or 'Rin', think I'm here to help. Oh, deliciously fun." Erzsebet whispered as she turned on her heel, "Where are you going?" The female asked in a shaken voice, "To get what is mine."
