The first thing I noticed after patching my game to 1.29 was that cats no longer disappear off the face of the map when they use EA Store bathtubs.

Though third party CC bathtubs still have the glitch.

I was hoping someone smarter than me could explain how I could fix CC tubs. I'm guessing it's a slot placement issue, but that's a wild guess. Grant Hes posted a tutorial on how to fix CC beds with SP3E that I could easily follow, so I'll need an idiot proof explanation like that.

Also, I was looking at the tutorial where I need to search for the Instance Name of a parent object, but some of the CC bathtubs I've downloaded are new meshes, and don't have that Instance Name. If fixing this issue involves similar info, is there any way to fix those?

I second this, I hope I can fix the wonderful rusty tub from Budget Bathroom of Lisen801:

I have tried Granthes/TSR tool and followed this Tutorial:Fixing Object RIGs for Patch 1.26 (http://modthesims.info/wiki.php?title=Tutorial:Fixing_Object_RIGs_for_Patch_1.26) but it still doesn't work.

Instructions on fixing CC Beds are here: http://sims3.the-prof.net/forums/index.php/topic,1472.0.html
Fixing baths works on the same principles, but you need to replace the entry in the VPXY with the instance of the EA bath _RIG (which you can find using the tutorial linked above), and you'll need to copy the updated RSLT lines from an EA bath RSLT too.

Thank you so much! I managed to fix my bathtub CC at last.

I'm impressed! Most people look at those instructions and think "...I think I'll just wait for the creator to do it..." :p . You should be a modder.

Oh gosh, no, I'm definitely the type that needs a map in order to trek the desert, if you know what I mean. I don't necessarily need someone to hold my hand, but I wouldn't know the first thing to do by myself. :P
