Deleting a pregnancy using SimPE

Ana Patel is pregnant with her fourth child but not showing yet. I would like to undo this pregnancy. I don't suppose just unchecking the "Pregnant (invisible)" box under "Other" will make her non-pregnant? Do I have to delete some tokens? How safe is this?

I'm not SimPE proficient, so I don't know about that, but I do know that TwoJeff's SimBlender (http://www.simbology.com/smf/index.php?topic=20.0) can terminate a pregnancy safely. Better, you do it a lot faster and easier from in-game.

Yes, you would have to delete the pregnancy token. However, I'm not sure that's sufficient.

I agree with Darby, the SimBlender is the way to go.

Yes, SimPE doesn't double check to be sure that your data is internally consistent. Any time there is an in-game way to do something, it is always better to do it like that rather than in SimPE. There is a token to delete, a flag to remove, and I believe there was something else to deal with unless you want your sim to risk becoming spontaneously pregnant again.

Thanks, everyone. I regret trying to be smart enough to deal with it using SimPE :( I should have listened to all of you. Not only did I fail to get rid of the pregnancy, but it turned out that Ana was carrying another set of twins. I quit the game without saving, hoping to find a way to decrease the number of babies to 1.

I suppose it is too late for in-game mechanisms, as she is already in labour. I haven't been able to find and change the number 0002 which, in SimPE, indicates that she is carrying twins. It is supposed to be somewhere in the token.

If there is no way to save myself from 5 children in a two-bedroom apartment, I'll have to kill her off at a neighbour's place.

You could let her have the twins, then use the cake from simlogical to age one up to Child and use "Make me a Townie" on the teleporter cat (Or one of the other townifying hacks) to get the extra child out of the house as a townie.

Or if your backup was from before she went into labor, you can restore it.
