Village Shop Tweaks (P&N)
Increase items quantity sold to 50
Added Doomsword Hilt
Added Doomsword Blade
Added Mystical Fragments
Added Unicorn Horn
Added Arcane Edge
Changelog:

Added Mana Stone
Added Wildflowers
Various items available earlier
Notes:
Made for Sims Medieval Pirates & Nobles (2.0.113). Check out Carrigon's "Shop in Bulk Medieval" if you don't have Pirates and Nobles installed.
Only install one shopping mod.
Please do back up your save first, in-case something goes wrong.
If you need something else added up, do let me know, I will see what I can do.

Credit to Carrigon as I used his/her/their shopping hack mod as resource. Created this while he/she/they update the shopping mod for P&N.

Then don't use the mod. Those of us who have been playing the game a while and are tired of spending half a sims day every day gathering, or visiting the market every single day for 1-2 of an item when we need quite a bit more than that... or any of the other reasons why we would want this mod, will use it with a smile. There's a certain point where you want to focus on other aspects of the game and mods like this help us do that.

Thanks so much for the new Mod! My game play time is more limited at the moment and I don't have time to waste running around from place to place looking, waiting, or trying to get stuff. This will help the way I play, a lot. :)

if you don't have p&N I would suggest using carrigon's shopping hack mod.

That's correct, this is made for P&N and compatible with Grim's Core Mod.

Oh, God, second. Sure, there are some times when I'd want to do it the old way, but trailing around going to the few places where angelweed grows gets old.

i don't think your mods folder needs t obe in the bin, just put in the c:\program files\electronic arts\the sims medieval folder.

Darth is right. You have your mods folder in the wrong place. Only the .dll file goes in the bin. You have to move your Mods folder to The Sims Medieval folder.

I can't seem to get version 2 to work. Both mods are in the proper folder and I can see version 1 modifications just fine. Why would one work but the other not?
For info purposes, I tried using just version 2 first, then thought I had to have version 1 also, downloaded that and placed it in the mods folder. But I'm not seeing the 50 mana stones in the shop or anything else. I put version 1 in and it's working fine. I'm not sure at all what I'm doing wrong.

Er, yes. I put the mod in and have been playing through several sim-days. Also, in regards to the "use one mod at a time" solution, I tried using the V2 mod by itself FIRST without the original mod and it never worked for me. I added the original V1 mod and it's working fine. V2 is doing nothing and that's what I need answers for.

Do you have any other mod that are related to market mod for example ShimrodsTSMMarketStallMoreItemsVer3.package mod? this mod will conflict with the Village_Shop_Tweak_PN_V2.package mod.

Could you add Lute of the Watcher to the list when you get the chance? And/or Heavy Metal Lute? Sent my bard from my latest kingdom to the shop and the best lute available was the Masterwork lute which bummed me out. Thanks!

do you have Package files set to open in notepad? if you do then this is the problem and as long as it's file extension is .package, then it will be usable.

please guys help me neither the 2 versions work for me the files come as Village_Shop_Tweak_PN.package has a file package and the version 2 the same but with "V2" on it and they are set to open with dll of the shell or something i have the P&N installed but when i put on the sims medieval folder the first one it doesnt show up nothing in the game no matter where i put it i tired in the gamedata/shared/packages and still nothing neither first version or 2 pls help!!!

guys i think i screwed up everything now the icon file has the notepad in and i put it to the recycle bin now when i download again the file its still the same is not a blank icon as with was what i do now?:s

the package files you download for mods go in the computer/program files (x86 if you have windows 7)/electronic arts/the sims medieval/mods/packages
you have to create the mods folder and then create the packages folder within the mods folder.

It sounds like you set the package to open with Notepad. It's just a Windows thing, it won't hurt anything. It didn't really change anything in the file. There are ways to fix it, but you really don't need to.
It sounds like you haven't read the RockerDuck's Stickied tutorial How to Mod Your Game for Beginners (http://www.modthesims.info/showthread.php?t=438344). This should explain where everything goes.

as long as the file is .package, it'll be fine, no matter what program you have it set to open with. I've got my set to open with s3pe because I like the icon.

If you want to do a quick non-technical check of your folders then drop some other mod in too, one that's immediately visible, like Shimrods castle wall texture changes
(which you can find here)

to check if your folders are set up properly, but even if the texture change does show, your current problem with this mod could possibly be because you haven't put in the d3dx9_31.dll
My package files are set to open with S3PE like Darth's, but Grim and Darth are right, having them set to open with notepad shouldn't affect them, as long as the file extension hasn't been changed.
Follow Grim's link a couple posts above this. It's a very good guide, very straightforward, and both the downloads that you need to set up your mods folder are included in this guide too, all, handily, in the very first post of the guide.
I hope you can get it working :)

got it! It works now apparently it missed the d3dx9_31.dll file like you said xd have a doom set now ^^ thanks a lot guys

Could you fix it so that the items that don't stack at the Marketplace don't have 50? It's tiresome scrolling through hundreds of lutes and birds... :c

I just DL'ed and installed this mod (V. 2) since I finally got my hands on the Pirates and Nobles expansion pack.
However, every time I send a Hero Sim to the Village Shop the 'shopping list screen' comes up all weird and the game freezes. The item list is blank and it says 'Shop name' instead of 'Village Shop' and 'money string' in brackets where my Sim's funds should be.
I've tried starting a new kingdom and chosing a new, different ambition with the same result.
I'm running version 2.0.113.00107 of the game and the only other mod I have is Grim's Medieval Core v 2.0.13 beta. The core worked fine as I played with only that in my game for a couple of days before discovering this shopping mod.
I'm stuck on what to do and am dreading having to do a complete re-install and/or lose my current Kingdom, so any help would be appreciated :)

Have the functions on the core actually showed up in the game? You have the options panel etc for the core mod? I ask incase you haven't set up the d3dx9_31.dll file.
I know items are meant to spawn at 3am, did you wait till then and try it again. I don't think it should mess up your shop before this happens though, but I've never had a problem with it so I don't know what it does before they spawn.

However, I'm now unable to do P&N quests or fulfill P&N related responsibilities as all items from that expansion (citrus fruit, bird whistles, boarding blades etc.) has disappeared from the Village Shop inventory.
I'm fearing a complete re-install of the game is needed to make this shopping mod work but for now I'll forego shopping mods and test whether that might solve the problem at a later date D:

Are you sure it's Shimrod's mod you're using? His goes up to V3.
It's Carrigon's village shop mod that goes up to V8, and that's only for the base game.
If it is Carrigon's that you're using, it would explain why your P&N stuff has disappeared, so perhaps no need for a re-install.

Can somone help i cant get this to work property? I get the doomsword and doom blade when i look into the market. But i dont get any new armor or swords on the highler levels like level 7,8,9??
