Other Town's Rabbitholes

I want to use my world as my town. I have a really simple, small world. I cannot find any of the rabbitholes you see in other towns, other than the ones that came with Ambitions and SOME that came with Pets. I currently have Ambitions, Generations, and Pets EPs. Where can I find things that have jobs or purposes, such as City Hall, Bookstores, Other Shops, Libraries, and basic job things (Art theater stuff...). Is this not possible? If it is not possible, is it still possible to have a fine family with all careers availabilities or not? Should i plain old give up? Thanks for any help.... Please point me in the right direction. Are you meaning that you cannot find them in-game or in CAW?

You should look for them in-Game (or in EIG mode) as Rabbitholes are probably best placed on a lot (unless you really know what you are doing). You need to look in Buy mode> Community items.

Well, I didn't think about buy mode. What I did was go to EIG and hit Edit Town, went to Community lots and all I see are the salon and tattoo parlours and other lots like that. I'll try that.

Ah, if you want the actual EA lots, then you need to go into the game and choose Sunset Valley (or Twinbrook) and actually save a copy of those lots to the library. Then when you go into EIG again those lots will be available to you.

Most of the lots that came with each world were not included in the lot bin; they only put some residential lots and the new Ambitions lot types in there (so that you could add them to your current world after updating the game).

If you are looking for the school, Town Hall, Hospital lots that are already built -- you should go into one of the pre-built towns and save the specific lot to you bin. Once they are in your bin, you can place them in CAW by drawing lot of the correct size and placing the saved lot in EIG.

Alright well, now that I have found them, I cannot place them. I go to EIG > Build Mode > Community Items and I see the lots I want. The lots I have placed in CAW are plenty big to support the lots, but when I click them they give the "grabbed hand" but no object and when I click nothing appears.... What am I doing wrong? If I zoom in on the lot it is outlined in yellow but still, nothing appears. How can I place objects on lots?

Okay-- Update!

Soo, I figured it out. I actually have to go to a SPECIFIC lot to put stuff on it... Can't just go all edit town then build mode... :s
