I downloaded Sims 2 Double Deluxe and all its expansion packs on my old laptop but it has gone kaputz and now I need to install all of it on to the new laptop (thank goodness I copied every file onto my external hard drive just days before).
Unfortunately, as I try to install the Sims 2 Double Deluxe disc something bizarre happened. I entered the product key. I chose the default install. I selected each game to install except for the Sims 3 Intro. Once I clicked next the prompt asks me if I am sure I want to quit the installation. If I select "no" it takes me back to the previous prompt. If I select yes then it shuts down.
I have tried different variations of the different options before I got to that prompt but it doesn't matter. I tried posting on the official Sims 2 forum but even though I enter my account info right, it makes me go around in circles through log-in screens.
Can anyone help?
