# Her chin needs to go up.
# Outer corners of the mouth needs to be more narrow.
# Increase definition and scale on her nostrils just a little.
# Eyes need to be wider and squinty a little.
# From the reference picture beside her, the eye color is a bit darker.

Maybe it's me, but I think you could raise the chin, jaw and mouth a little bit (just a click).
Could you lighten the brows a bit for to make it a bit more soft?

Okay guys, I'm going to ask you to concentrate on her 'look' rather than a feature by feature comparison. The reality is that every shot of someone shows a different shape of their eyes depending on whether they are looking up, a different shape lip depending on whether they are smiling and a different shape of face, depending on whether they are looking up or down, so it is difficult to capture the essence of the real person simply by going on exactly what the pic portrays. So I have tried to look at different photos and put together the pic below. Does she resemble the actress? I know it's hard if you aren't familiar with her.

Her mouth should probably be a little wider. Her lip shape is fine but the corners should be more lined up with her pupil than the outside of her irises. To me, her nose stands for the most improvement. Her nostrils are a little close in line with the bottom of her nose tip. Her nostrils should be small ( ) <- in that aspect (can't remember what it's called) and they should be more defined. Her jaw could probably be a smidge wider. A clearer reference pic would probably help as well.

The sim's mouth is in repose whereas the reference pic is smiling slightly and I am not going for the permasmile look. Again the fact that the RLP is smiling impacts on the mouth lining up with the irises.

Can't do anything about her actual nose holes to make them further apart without compromising the actual width of the fleshy part of the nostril and I can't make them bigger. The tilt of her head impacts on the perception of the size of the nostrils - in the RLP, her head is down slightly, whereas the sim is looking straight on. Maybe making nose wider will help.

What I am trying to go for is the resemblance - the 'wow, it's her', factor. Are you familiar with the RLP because I am not. I can see that her jaw could do with a click. Yes, I wish I could get a bigger size of the pic. I think the pic I started with is a younger version than she is now and is nice and clear but it doesn't capture Shailene. Thanks for your detailed feedback Heaven.

Hi Audrey, she's very pretty and looking very close. The eyes are the perfect shape but the eyelids are not noticeable in the front or side views if you see what I mean.

I actually am familiar with the RL person. Also, I think you misunderstood what I was saying about the nose. I wasn't asking you to make the nostrils bigger. I was saying they needed to move up and that they should be more defined since, right now, they just kind of blend in to the bridge. Also, as Rennara said, you should be able to see her eyelids some. The picture below should help. See how the Sim version's nostril bottoms line up with the nose tip while the RL version's nose tip is below the bottom of the nostrils? Also, see how the nostril definition is different between the two? :)
