Okay, I've been searching around everywhere for a good place to post this, and I think I have the right forum/thread/whatever now. XD Sorry if it's not posted on the right place.

Anyway, I'm a noob to making Sims 3 cc, and followed this (http://www.thesimsresource.com/tutorials/view/id/12348/category/sims3/preview/0/) tutorial and made my first shirt. I was trying to replicate the shirt seen on MCR's Show Pony (http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_Hj6ACLElQpw/TOdCeYfobsI/AAAAAAAAB2s/9DBYPU-ri6c/s1600/image37.png) and got the actual shirt pretty good for my first try I think. But then there's the coloring...

It looks like this:

If I mess around in the game, the best I can get is this:

I think it's the mask. It looks like this:

And here's the color settings:

What am I doing wrong? Can someone tell me how to fix this, or direct me to another tutorial or something? Please and thank you in advance. :D

This part of the forum is for TS2 content creation. :) I don't know how many TS3 CC makers will see it here. Rather than reposting this elsewhere (I assume this (http://modthesims.info/forumdisplay.php?f=597) is a better place?), perhaps a mod will move it for you...?

Sorry, I guess I didn't read as thoroughly as I thought. XD Hopefully they will! I'm unsure how to move it myself...

It's the mask, yes. Your red looks fine, but the green and blue are the wrong shades of green and blue - blue needs to be (using RGB) R: 0, G: 0, B: 255; green needs to be R: 0, G: 255, B: 0. If you have any other values in the RGB boxes, then you'll get multiple channels blending together, and weird colours will result.

You can also use red, yellow, and pink - in that case red is R: 255, G: 0, B: 0; yellow is R: 255, G: 255, B: 0; and pink is R: 255, G: 0, B: 255.

I've deleted your second thread, since it's a duplicate now that this one has been moved. :)

I tried changing the colors like you said, and it still didn't work. ^^; I think I maybe have it set up wrong? Or maybe it's my layers...I'll just have to fool around more I guess. Thanks for the advice and moving my thread though! XD
