Play The Sims 2 with ALL EP's and SP's correctly

Hi, as I see that i actually can't play correctly The Sims 3, I decided to go back to TS2 (I have got ALL EP's and SP's).
My Question is: Could I play with a high graphics options with my PC?

I wouldn't recommend ALL options to be set high, but high detail on sims and objects is do-able. If you experience lag, turn reflections off, and possibly shadows. Keep the neighborhood distance view short. Keep lot size, population, landscaping, and decor fairly modest, especially with regard to fountains or other moving/animated objects.

OK, i'll try.
And another thing: When i make my sim watch TV, when it'll have fun at maxim, it stops watching TV, if I say him again to watch TV, it closes it etc...
It's normal or it's because of a download?

Unfortunately, this is "normal". Sims used to be willing to continue watching TV after their fun bar topped out, but one of the later EPs seems to have changed this.
