I'm finishing my world and I've created all the families (some of them include pets). Now I want to populate my world and I don't know If including pets is possible.

If not, I will offer a Save file, but I prefer the other method. Do you know if that's possible?

Thanks in advance :)

I don't see why pets would be any different from sims, but then again, i have never populated a world, only read about it. Here http://www.modthesims.info/showthread.php?t=403303

Thanks for answering!
I populated a world before, but with no pets, and I didn't have any problem. In this (http://simswiki.info/wiki.php?title=Tutorials:Populating_CAW_Worlds#A_Warning_about_Ghosts_.26_Mummies/) section of the tutorial, it talks about that mummies and ghosts become corrupted. It doesn't say anything about pets, so I'd like to know if including them is safe.

If anyone knows the answer please tell me ;)

As far as I know that method using porter will now work with pets (originally there were issues with Porter & pets but Twallan fixed it up)

As a warning though- don't try re-editing lots in Edit in Game after you have ported everyone in. Going into build and buy modes once you have Sims in a world now causes an eventual crash and often a corruption of the save. (This has only started happening since Pets, as far as I know, caused me a lot of frustration trying to make a world of mine pets-friendly)

Thank you Bakafox :) I'm happy to hear that. When I have all the things finished, I'll populate the world, and then export ;)
