So I created new eyes (genetics) with Sims 2 Body Shop using Paint. I wanted to upload them to ModTheSims. After I finished them, I imported them all to my game and I saved their package files found in my Project folder (My Documents/EA Games/The Sims 2/Projects) onto my desktop. So to make sure they actually work, I deleted the eyes from the game. I closed Body Shop, moved my packaged files into the Downloads folder, and opened Body Shop again. But my eyes weren't there, so they don't work! How can I fix this, and how can I make them available for upload to ModTheSims?

The files from Projects are not the right ones. Once you export the project to your game, you want the file from SavedSims that has the project name in the filename (it'll be something like 8ed45fef_Projectname.package).
You should really use the Creator Feedback forum first, though, to share pics of your creation before uploading though - especially if you've been using MS Paint, which is generally not suitable for creating custom content textures.

So... how did you manage to use MS Paint on a Mac?

I don't have a Mac, I have Windows 7. And I didn't use MS Paint (I don't even know what that is), I just use the regular Paint that came with my computer.

Ah, well, you posted in the Mac forum. And the Paint that comes with your computer is MS Paint (Microsoft Paint). You're -really- better off getting something like Paint.NET or Gimp (or Photoshop if you an afford it) as MS Paint can't do layers, brush opacities, etc., which really are necessary to get a nice result.
