Create A World Issue With Large Maps?

Hi,

I am having a really strange thing happen with CAW and my large maps.

And then, when I do go to open a world, I get these strange thumbnails:

I can get the tiny to medium sized worlds to work, but once I try to create a new large world, I get this message:

The error makes no sense since they are PNG files.

Does anyone know what to do to fix this? I don't want to have to start over on my worlds since they are large maps. :'(


Tiny to Medium sized worlds work. I swear I read on here about a program that fixes this, but I cannot find the thread or what this program was called.

The only time I've seen the error about the PNG files it always turned out to indicate a corrupt install, and so reinstalling CAW was the solution.

That would probably be your best bet, as redownloading and reinstalling CAW is a fairly quick process. Remember to backup your user data first!

I reinstalled it and I am having the same exact issue. Tiny to medium maps will load but the large one won't.
