I've had the sims on this laptop since i got it and i just started having problems. I have w.a. ambitions and late night. I can create sims and everything else but as soon as i got to their home it will crash. i had to get a new hard drive last month and i didnt put the mods on there until last week, but as soon as i did thats when i started having problems. i uninstalled and re-installed the games like 5 times and i removed the cc and it still doesnt work! this is so frustrating! I called ea and they told me that it was my graphics card, but my best friend is having the same exact problem with her computer. Please Help!!

Yeah, your graphics card doesn't meet the System Requirements (http://www.modthesims.info/wiki.php?title=Game_Help:TS3_System_Requirements). You can read more about this here (http://www.modthesims.info/wiki.php?title=Game_Help:Onboard_Graphics).
