Problem starting game due to modifications.

I'm having problems with my game due to modifications. I've been through the "Game Problem" steps and know my way around the files anyway. I've completely taken out all the mods and custom content. Every time i start the game it says "It looks like you have installed an unofficial game modification that does not match your current version of the Sims 3. We recommend that you either uninstall these game modifications or get the updated version of them -- otherwise you may experience crashes or significant bugs. Do you want to quit?" and it gives me the options to quit or continue. If i continue, it loads it, and i select a family or a new game and it ends of freezing and i have to shut it down. Like I said, I've deleted all the mods and custom content. I'm kinda at a loss because I've tried everything. I'd really appreciate if someone that has the answers could walk me through this. Thank you. :(

Did you ever have CC in the Program Files? (The old way) Maybe something got left there.

Did you ever install a default override? Most of them go in Mods, but occasionally one goes somewhere else.

I took all that out too.

I don't believe so, but where would it have gone if i had?

I finally figured it out. If anyone is having this same problem, there was a fix i had to download, I must have missed that somewhere. Thank for the help. :)
