island life challenge (bon voyage needed) just letting you know this is the first out of three challenges i came up with about a year ago

story:after a ship wreck you find your sell on a island that looks uninhabited after walking around for a bit you find a rundown little shack you decide to stay there for a bit while you try and figure out where you are but after awhile you decide you should stay awhile on the island because you like it and you think you could spend your life here

goal live to an elder and die of old age you lose if you die of anything else

rules:ok rules
1) you can create any sim you want to use or you can use a existing one
2) make an empty beach lot and make a little shack on it
3) you must get rid of the mail box with move objects on
4) dont interact with sims showing up at your door
5) optional make a dog with sims pets ep
6)after moving into the shack witch must have the lowest price need boosters like a mini fridge
7)if you do have pets you can interact with strays

thats it i wish you good luck also i thought this would be a short fun challenge : )

I'm not a moderator, but please allow me to give you two pieces of advice, if you intend to become a regular here.

1) Don't Type Like This! Many readers will skip your post entirely, simply because you've made it hard to read.
2) Use a little punctuation. It doesn't have to be flawless, just toss in a full stop here and there.

It's marketing! If your reader can't understand your message, they wont buy your idea :)

Your post looks like a really long song title by Fall Out Boy. The challenge seems really interesting but the way you're typing makes it really hard for me to read and pay attention.

Also, you might want to rethink some points or play the challenge yourself first.
1) One sim + optional dog: Where is the challenging part of the challenge? Surviving by farming and fishing is easy. The only difficult part I see is the social life, because it seems like the sim cannot interact with any other sim. If he or she doesn't have a pet from the beginning, it'll be social bunny time throughout the challenge. Sounds a tad uninteresting.
2) family: Seems like you had some kind of BACC in mind. Don't you think it's going to be hard to populate the island with only one starting couple? Their children won't be able to marry anyone. Unlocking certain options later on is actually quite interesting, but I don't think your conditions make much sense.

that is actually another one of the challenges i had come up with but i forgot that it was one when i originally posted this so i edited that out i guess i will post the second one witch is a lot more challenging

If you delete the mailbox, you will not be able to play your family. Instead, the lot will come up in build/buy mode and your family will not be accessible.

I would recommend that you re-think this rule.

I think that's that Mootilda is getting at here. Your family probably won't be playable when you delete the mailbox, even if they are already moved in

Yes, it seems that the challenge is to have a social life with only an optional dog to keep you company. Of course, if you don't have a dog, it will be more of a challenge.

Isn't this the reason "Castaways" was released?Castaways had other sims... IIRC, your Castaway sim was expected to marry.

Actually there are [Edit: were] two different ... uhm... "challenges" in the first post. You can either create 1 sim (with/ without dog) or a family. The BACC thing is for the family. I guess. If I understood it correctly. :/
But it'd still be impossible without other couples.

Edit: Oh dear, they took that part out. I guess we can just ignore it then.
