View Full Version : Drunk type trait

Okay, I'm positive I've pinned it down to some kind of damn randomly determined hidden trait which determines what type of "Drunk" a Sim is (happy/mean/sad). Absolutely nothing else, focus meter or otherwise, affects it. Happy is by far the most desirable, and it also seems to be the most uncommon.

I'm so frustrated, I've tried every cheat and cheat mod available but I can't find a way to access and change this hidden trait. Is there no way to change it? How can this be possible? There has to be some way to change it. Please can someone tell me if there's a way to change it? :(

There is a hidden Drunk trait, but I know of no way at the moment to change it. Seems it could be changed with a mod (I've seen the code), but not in game. Kind of like real life, eh?

What is so different about the code for this particular trait? Why can it not be changed like other traits?

It's not terribly important but I'm just kind of miffed because none of my Heros ever seem to get the "Happy" version of the trait, just "Sad" and sometimes "Mean", which majorly stinks because the "Happy" drunk gets an extremely useful positive mood buff.

The code isn't that different, it's just been made unaccessable to the player. Sims have always had hidden traits. Like dancing. Perhaps, like dancing in TS3, you could work on the trait. However, apart from drinking more, or less, I wouldn't know what to do.

I'll look around while I'm messing with code and see what I can do, but an XML mod might be able to tag it differently, and it would be editable in CAS, if somebody wants to look into it..

This mod http://gnautylilgnomes.com/forum/index.php?topic=2352.0 alters the Drunk Sad, Happy and Mean such that all 3 can come up on sims properly. The mod also alters the bit with Legendary Traits though.
