I just recently got my Sims 3 content all reinstalled and my new CC merged and checked with Dashboard and installed. This is the first time I've booted it up and started working on a sim. My question is this, after about 1-2 hours of tweaking work on a sim, I went to change the color of her shirt and got stuck in the dreaded materializing materials loop. I've done research now and see what's causing the problem, but is there any way that I can cancel the load and back out to the main part of CAS to save this sim? I'm going to be crushed if I lose her after all this work and I realize I should have saved her before now, but since this was her initial creation I just wanted to get it out of the way... ._. Any help would be tremendously appreciated.

A side note; CAS/The Sims 3 itself does not seem to be frozen, I can move the mouse and everything just fine, so I'm hoping there's some way I can just cancel this pattern loading script.

If you can get the Options menu up, either by clicking it or by pressing F5, then you can get out of the loop - but you may not be prompted to save the sim. Otherwise, I'm afraid not.

Darn, that didn't seem to work... well it seems like it's a lost cause. I'll just ctrl-alt-del the process and restart the game ._. Thank you anyways!
