A girls best friend and worst enemy. What I want to know is how you deal with these types of shoes. Do you wear them to work/school and if you hate them, then why do you still buy them? I basically want to know your opinions and/or funny stories on these shoes. :)

I really hate high heels. It's true that they make my legs look good, but it's not worth the pain for me. I only wear them when it's absolutely necessary. I do have a high-heel related "battle scar" though. At my senior banquet last year, a girl stepped on my foot with her stilettos. The heel ripped my tights and went right through my skin. I still have a small, rectangular scar to remind me of the good times.

I like them. If you get a nice comfortable pair and walk around in them a lot, you get used to the feeling :) I don't wear high heels that often though because I'm already too tall (5'10")

I dislike them. Give me a pair of jandals (thongs, flip-flops) any day and I'll be happy! I can wear them easily enough, and run in them :P but they make your feet hurt terribly after awhile and if you wear them too often you can wind up with flat-foot. I prefer shoes with just enough heel so my feet aren't flat on the ground, but not so much that it's not comfortable to wear them for hours. Ankle boots FTW!

I love high heels, despite already being tall (I'm 5'9"). I actually find them more comfortable than flat shoes in that my feet have very high arches; therefore, heels provide better support for me than flats. The key to walking in them is to purchase pairs that don't have dangerously twiggy spikes; I find that I can tolerate higher and higher heels so long as they're thick enough.

I love high heels.
I'm only 5'4, so I can teeter about without being gigantic. :3
I own way too many heels... <.<

No way, no how. I have really bad knees and flat feet, heels are nothing but torture. In addition, I already have a back that is excessively arched, the last thing I need is heels, which exaggerate back arch in everyone.
Apart from the physical problems I have always been a bit of a tomboy, I never wore heels growing up, and I'll take my Converse any day over some ankle-rolling death shoes. :P The closest I'll ever come is my boots with a short, chunky heel. Shame really, at 5'2 I could use the height, but it's not worth it for me.

I'm about 5'10", so I don't really need heels, but I absolutely love them. I have monstrously high arches, so I find them incredibly comfortable, too. The only problem is, I'm really uncoordinated, even in flat shoes, so wearing heels just means I have farther to fall.

meh, it depends. I like the pair I have for school, but I usually wear tennis shoes or Hightops
