Can't install CC hair

I was trying to download some hair for my Sims, and this is what I ended up with:

What the heck. :wtf:

It says it's base-game compatible, though. I have Ambitions and Generations. I'm not a subscriber on TSR, where I got the hair from, and I got it from paysitesmustbedestroyed.org. Is anything wrong with my game? >:(

I would suggest just extracting the .package file and installing the hair normally, since .package files can't moan about missing EPs (whether there actually are any missing EPs or not).

There is no .package file, though.

There is a utility which extracts packages from sims 3 packs. I have Delphy's multi-extractor, but I think there are others that also work.

There wouldn't be much point in it existing if it screwed up CC. ;) It works a charm - but do remember that it shouldn't be used for sims, lots or worlds. Some counters and patterns may work better if installed as sims3packs, thought most are fine either way.
