riverview dont install

I download riverview several times. I installed it also several times in several ways.
I tried to dubbel click the sims3.pack, i tried to install it from the launcher. I tried to run the launcher as 'administrator', but all didnt work even when it was succesfully installed and the status was saying the file was installed in my game.
When i open the launcher again, the status of the file 'riverview' is empty.. ??

Funny thing is, when it says it succesfully installed, riverview never showed up as a play-option in my game and also theres no file from riverview in 'installed.worlds' folder.

Anyone who can help me or knows how to make this work? Im trying to fix this the last 2 years :(

The first thing I would try is to remove the DCBackup folder to see if that helps (bear in mind that this is used when packaging CC in with a lot or sim that you create, so you may not want to delete it entirely).

If all else fails, it could be that the DCCache files are bugged, in which case your best option is to remove the DCCache folder and reinstall ALL of your Sims3Pack content again (in small batches).

i dont think its cause of my downloaded content, cause i always had this problem with or without downloaded stuff, lots etc.
Ill read the articles u gave me now, hope i can find something.

Oh.. i download a file named 'riverview.world' and added this in the folder 'installed.worlds'. Do u think it can help? i read this a few times so i thought i give it a try.

also i updated my game till 1.31
