Lot size restrictions

Hello. I was wondering if there is a way to override a lot restriction size. I know the lot size will fit but the red block will show up every time. Is there a way to disable the restriction?

Is there anything that could be blocking it? In particular, those decorative Edit Town fences tend to screw up lot placement.

If the world has been painted with unroutable paint on the spot you are trying to place the lot, it won't go, but will show up as red block like you described. You did not say if you encountered the problem in an EA world, or in a custom one, but either way routing counts. If the maker of the world has made the area unroutable, you can't place lots there.

Any objetcs blocking the lot placing also effects as mentioned by the previous poster, but since you say there is enough room, my vote goes for the routing.
