And that is a really silly reason not to patch :O Doesn't take longer than digging up old, unsupported versions of all the mods you want to use, particularly if you add in the time it takes for people to help you find them :p

And, Twallan's site is the best place to get support for his mods :)

Actually, you can no longer get MC prior to Phase Six (patch 1.29) as Twallan does not provide downloads for older versions of his mods. I think it's a support issue, maybe. Anyway, kinda sucks for me as I'd like to roll back to pre-Generations to completely avoid the whole screwed-up romance business, but I don't have the older Twallan mods, and Sims 3 sans Twallan just isn't any fun for me.

Severedsolo has a mod here at MTS that fixes the way that romantic relationships work in generations: http://modthesims.info/d/446164. You could try that and see if it makes the EP playable for you.

Yes, the Romance Recombobulator is a great mod for controlling the effects of EA's screwed up romance stuff, but I want to not only control it, I want to eliminate it entirely from my game. As I recall they forced it on everyone with a patch, so simply uninstalling Generations doesn't get rid of it. My two biggest gripes with EA are the romance fiasco and the entire celebrity game mechanic.

I don't agree with this spreading of outdated mods just because someone ask for it and one has a copy of it. I understand the offer to help, we all want to be nice and helpful. But are you also providing support for that outdated version when you supply the file? I'm sorry, but this just creates more issues down the line.

If one is the kind of simmer who never updates, keep an archive of all the CC you use for that version in case you need to reinstall. I'm not one to dictate how you play, but please think of the kittens! Each time you don't patch, a kitten miaows! :p

For anyone using outdated mod versions, if you encounter an issue and then report it to the developer, this is both a waste of time and a source of frustration for the developer to attend to and any forum/site helpers, especially if a poster neglects to mention the version they are using right up front (because posters tend to be so forthcoming when they ask for help). ;)

In any case, questions like these belong in the WCIF forum.

At first I did'nt know whether uploading and sharing file which is outdated is good or not.
But at that time, because there was no mention about patch 1.26 in the Twallan's update history, I thought it will be helpful for him.
It is a little foolish of me that to have done a thing like that.
I'm sorry for Developer, Mr.Twallan.

I think at least you may had better update to patch 1.29 and get Mastercontroller and MCcheats which are compatible with patch1.29 in NRass wiki .
And I warn you that you wrote your E-mail address in this thread. I think it's too dangerous!

I don't have Showtime , but I enjoy playing this game with Pets(patch 1.29 with Twallan's Mods and other Mods).
