Hope that someone will be able to help with this issue. I have patched to the latest 1.32 patch and have all EPs installed. As always I removed My Documents Folder and made a backup, cleared all the Cache files. After set up went back and added my mods and all my cc with the updates; the ones for which there was not an update got taken out. Ran the game and everything is fine. Started a new game and when I went to buy/build, my mod packages are there; however I am missing most of the store bought items and downloaded packs.
2. went back, cleared the caches removed DC cache and DC backup files and made a backup. Reinstalled all my PAcks back, Launcher installed fine; all were succes but when I went back to game, they are not there. Went back, cleared the caches again, reinstalled, now most said, pack already installed, ok. Went back into game, nothing! So I started reinstalling them one by one through the launcher, Now most of them are there but I have like three items that are the same in the game. It seems that all oof them got activated by the last install; but they are all there now. The funny thing is that I only have one file of each in the download folder.
Ran Dashboard to find duplicates in DC backup, nothing! Please help!

If removing/renaming DCCache and DCBackup folder has no effect in reinstalling them, go a step further and rename the whole Sims 3 folder. Game_Help:GCCTSU3_Redo/DCCache

Answer this too, please: Also how do you patch to 1.32? Which group do you fall into and which method within that group applies to you? State A-2 or B-1, etc.

Group A: Who has the leaked patch ?

People who used the 1.32 superpatcher
People who reinstalled their game and patched from scratch (either Launcher or SuperPatcher)
People who have not updated to 1.31 and patched directly to 1.32 with the superpatcher

Group B: Who does not ?

People who used the incremental patch
People who patched through the launcher but were already at patch level 1.31

First of all, thank you for your response; I started by patching with the superpatcher from 1.31; since it was just not working. I reinstalled and patch with the super patcher up to 1.31, then I used the incremental patch to 1.32. This solved most of the problems. Actually I just came back from Testing in CAS and I use default replacement skins as well as ND for the sims that I make to share. There was no problems what so ever with anything there except one borked hair CC that I will have to hunt down and pull out. On this brand new world that I am using for testing purposes, it let me make the family saved them and placed then in bin without problems; actually everything is faster than with the 1.31 patch. I was missing som hair, also from packs; however, when I went to make the second sim it was there asigned to a different category and in CAS there are no duplicates either. Thanks again, I will follow the link you provided read and wait for further instructions.
