i hope im posting this in the right place if not im sorry
im trying to make a sims story but every time after i hit the C key to take a screenshot my game messes up and i have to force close the game.
i made sure my computer has everything it needs to run sims 3 perfectly and i do have a few mods but before i even started playing showtime i went through all my mods and took out the ones that dont have updates yet so i dont know what is going on
Update
ok so i got a new problem where my game was crashing a lot like i would get s force close but now it just gets stuck on the loading screen before i can pick what game i want to play. i uninstalled my games 3 times and even had to rebuild my computer.
i tried to see if it was my mods that was doing it so i removed them and it did let me get into the game and it didnt crash so i went through every mod i had 1 by 1 and all of them never caused the problem that i have so i put them all in the folder once mroe and then it acts up again so i dont know what to do now

Define 'messes up'. You can show a screenshot if you like.

If you have CC that individually works fine, but doesn't like being in the game when it's all together, either you have too much for your system to handle, or something is conflicting. Good News: Delphy's Dashboard is supposed to find that kind of file conflict. Bad News: It sometimes has a "false positive" when a creator cloned the same object for different objects. But if you run it you can narrow the list down to a set of prime suspects and go from there. If it finds a Sims 2 file or a corrupt file you can get rid of it and see if that helps. If it shows only two conflicts, you can pick the one you want to keep and remove the other one.
And we still need to see the system specs.

System with that graphics card with that amount of RAM is OK for base game, but if you have more packs, it is going to struggle a bit. From the SysReq (see my signature), that card has Green only for base game.
Are you updated to 1.33? And what packs do you have? All? Just base game? Just base game+EPs?
Here's the files to update the graphics drivers (http://www.geforce.com/Drivers/Results/42435) and DirectX (http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=8109)
Have you work through the Game Help:Sims 3 Crashing Checklist? Hopefully the updates would solve this, but if not, please do the checklist.
