While editing showtime lots I came across this odd symbol on the floor. It blocks item placing like an object but can't be clicked on or picked up. I'm not sure how to get a pickture posted here so I how my description will be enough.... It's a square with a P in it with an arrow pointing to one of the sides of the square. I'm only seeing it in the new venue lots.

Something to do with the performance area? Are you trying to place something in the area the crowd will stand?

That is the marker for the venue Proprietor.

Was trying to place a real bar in the rodeo bar before saving and moving it to Longview. Is there any way to move it? Or even to place my own, seems like it's something needed if I want to make one of my own venues.

It's not needed. A proprieter spawns as long as there's a stage and the lot is the right type.

Ah, but if there is a way to place it, you can likely make Late Night clubs into venues.

But late night clubs have their own lot type. You'd have to have the lot be two different types at once, which is, I believe, a violation of the laws of physics.

Assuming that the lot needs to be listed as a venue. It is possible that it only needs to have a proprieter to allow singers/magicians/acrobats to preform there.

Someone feel like testing that? It'd be nice to have singing venues in Bridgeport without needing to find room for new lots.

I looked it up in S3PE. First off, it's marked as unmovable and undeletable. It says it's marked for debug but I don't think it's in buydebug. I wish I could help more! S3PE is broken on mac and doesn't save any changes. I've attached the file for anyone to edit.

It does not work that way. You can ONLY have gigs on the venue-enabled lots. The proprieter marker is a completely meaningless item, as I said. All it does is tell them where to stand still. You don't need it to make a functioning venue, and it isn't necessary for a venue to function.

It is not available in Buy Debug as a separate object just as an attachment to the stage. It has been detached and is available over @ MATY, dunno the link off hand.
