Using Corel Paint Photo Pro to create clothing

I've been trying my hand at making clothing but i'm having a hard time. I'm using TSRW and Corel Paint Shop Photo Pro X2. I have spent three hours trying to make a dress and when I transferred it to the game it turns the whole body red. I'm not sure what i'm doing wrong or if you can help me, but I wanted to try to reach out and ask anyway.
I have read through the tutorial although it was for Photoshop. I do have PS elements 8 but can't seem to find the Alpha channel. Any help would be appreciated.

This issue you are having is probably caused by a wrong texture format, TSRW can import 3 different formats, but the standard one is DDS. As far as I know, only Photoshop and GIMP have DDS plugins available, so you will need to use one of these programs in order to save your texture in the right format (I suggest that you use GIMP, as it's free).
