Login/Logout

It doesn't bother me per se , but I would like to know if it is coming from my browser or if it is MTS who's doing this .

When I log in MTS I have to type my name and pass . And I do , I login . But sometimes (not all the time) I insert my name and pass and then it tell me (we are redircting you..) . Then it doesn't log me in . So I have to re type my name and pass .
And when I log off , I have to click log out twice . (this everytime)
The 1st time it give me the normal feedback : All cookies cleared .
But I can still see my name near User Tools and I can still access it . So I click on Log out a second time and then it all gone like it should .

I don't have any facebook account or any others of the sort . But I do have a YT linked to my gmail . And only MTS do that to me . When I log out elsewhere it work just fine .
And no , I do not clear cookies/cache while in session either .
I'm using Chrome and it is up to date .
I have only Adblock installed .

Problems with logging in are usually caused by a dodgy domain name - for example, if you usually access the site via a bookmark which points to modthesims2.com rather than modthesims.info. You may also find that the problem is resolved by ticking Remember Me - which isn't a security concern if you're logging out after every session, which it sounds like you are. :)

As far as having to log out twice goes: you don't have to. Some elements of that page are generated before the cookie is cleared, which is how it manages to say 'Thankyou, [username], you are now logged out' (or whatever the precise wording is). If you then go to any other page on the site, such as the homepage, you'll see that your name is gone from the navigation bar - you're logged out. login.php is included in 'any other page', which is why logging out twice also clears the username display. :)

Ah , well thank you for clearing up that for me . Really appreciated !
I'm gonna check that little box (remember me) since it isn't a security weak link :) it should help !
