WCIF A courtesy lights mod for TS3?

Given that it's common knowledge that Auto-Lights as built into the game for TS3 are broken at best for most users (considering the many threads about it), I'm looking for a similar mod to Numenor's Courtesy lights for TS2. Already dug around, but had no luck. Any insight into finding my target would be appreciated as I've already tried fixing it myself ingame with no joy. Thanks!

Do you mean porch light type things - which turn themselves on and off as sims approach and move away? If so, that's very easy to achieve using WA floor switches: http://www.modthesims.info/showthread.php?t=386169

On second thought after trying this, it's impossible to wire a house with lights this way, as the triggers have no way of linking to one light specifically. I'm looking for a simple mod that will turn lights on at night when a sim enters the room, and switch them off when all sims have left the room.
