View Full Version : Framework not working with patch 10.0.96.015017?

Before I get slated; I have read all the CC installation details and have been using framework quite happily - until I updated my game to patch 10.0.96.015017. Since then the game gives me a 'you have unofficial content which will cause problems' message and the game won't load past the main page- in other words, it won't load a saved game or create a new game. To check that it is Framework causing the problem I removed it from my Mods folder and the game loaded perfectly, albeit sans CC. Does anyone know if there is an updated Framework, or a workaround for this problem? I would really prefer to not have to reinstall my game. - Oh, I also installed and used the Patch Downloader which is available on this site, just in case it was because my game wasn't up to date. It did find a patch I was missing, which I installed. But I still had the same problem with Framework. Oh, and I did re-download and reinstall Framework from the 'How to install CC' page on this site. Still no joy.

Alternatively... any idea how I can get back to patch 10.0.96.014017?

It's not a framework problem, but a CC problem. You'll need to take out all your mods and sort out what needs updating - most likely it's a core mod like Awesomemod. You'll have to get the updated version (btw, it's your -base game- version that matters, which you can find floating over the base game icon in the launcher at the bottom left).

It means that you have an outdated core mod, so it's not really the framework but rather the CC/ mods you have.

Ahhh...thank you. I'll go do that and will report back. :)
Thank you both - I removed Awesome Mod and replaced Framework, and as you said, the game worked fine. It's still not showing all my custom content, but I guess that means the individual items are out of date. Thank you for your help clearing this up and saving me a reinstallation :).

Thanks for the tip :)
