I'm having trouble uninstalling the Sims 2 Univerity Collection.
I looked up the problem and came across Rippleclaw's post-- she had the same problem. I took the advice and followed the uninstall article on here. So my question: Where it talks about this part of the registry here--> "If you have University Life Collection, you need to also make sure the following are gone:
the Sims 2 EP1 folder
the Sims 2 SC folder
the Sims 2 SE folder
the Sims 2 SP6 folder"
Where would I find that? I That would be the solution to my problem. Thank you!

They are talking about the registry. Here is an article which discusses the problems with editing your registry, how to backup first, and how to edit the registry:
http://simswiki.info/wiki.php?title=Game_Help:Uninstall#Remove_Registry_Entries
Specifically:Click Start, then Run. When the Run window comes up, type regedit and then click OK.
If you read the entire article, they talk about how to find the appropriate keys within the hierarchy.

So downloading the Ccleaner would help, or creating a restore point? I looked at that article and followed the steps dealing with the Registry Entries when I had to delete the Open For Business and a few others still latched on to my computer. Those were deleted fine, and I was able to reinstall them later.
Are those files I listed there under the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE (insert SOFTWARE, EA Games, rest of step following here)?

If the game is already installed, it's too late to create a restore point. However, if you have an existing restore point from before you installed the University Life Collection, and if you haven't installed anything important since, then you could consider going back to that restore point.
CCleaner should work.
I don't have the University Life Collection, but I'm guessing that the keys that you need to remove are in the same folder as all of the standalone EPs.
If worse comes to worse, you can always search your registry for "The Sims 2". Be sure to start your search at the root folder, so that you find them all.

WOO! I got it! :giggler: I found those files. THanks for the help!!
Edit: Now, the only problem is: It stops at 18%. I had this problem before, and I forgot what I did. :/

Try cleaning your disk:

It's amazing how much cleaning the disk helps. I also didn't install the Sims 3 intro and the Sims 2 store edition. That helped too. Thanks Moo!! :)
