I just started playing Showtime, and I made myself a magician to mess around with. While I have no lag on the interactions or anything, I'm having a problem with the tricks she does. I have all my graphical settings up to max, and yet I still can't see any cards when she does the 'instant cards' trick. I also can't see the birds for 'free birds' or the fireball. I can see when she messes up the fireball and her arm catches on fire. The animations are there, but the little details like that aren't showing up. At first I wasn't sure it was a problem, I thought maybe she was just messing up the trick or something, but she's not getting the 'embarrassed' moodlet, and I looked up youtube videos of a magician performing and there's definitely birds, cards, etc.
I am also getting random points where it freezes for a minute or two and then comes back. Frankly, that's less concerning to me though because I've heard of other people having that issue.
For reference, I have an Alienware M14x, i7 processor, Windows 7 64 bit, 8gb of ram and a 1.5GB GeForce GT 555M graphics card. I am running dual monitors, could that be causing this issue?
