Thanks to Akihiro "XxBrokenEmoAngelxX" I'm learning how to use Milkshape. :D This way I can create my own custom animations for my Sims 2 Exorcist series (& for actual gameplay too) and it's not SO hard as I thought it would be.
I still need a lot of help with it though.
This is how the spiderwalk pose is looking so far:
How long do you think it will take to make it animated? :)

Ok, please help! I'm still following XxBrokenEmoAngelxX' tutorial and I'm stuck on SimPE 6:18, I don't know how to Register Object Guid. He asked to click "get Guid" so you can have as many animation boxes as you want in your game.
Oh, it worked now!
I have my animation box in the game but when I command my sim to start the animation nothing happens. :( What did I do wrong?
Can someone please help??

I'm going to guess that this may be a reasonable forum:
http://www.modthesims.info/forumdisplay.php?f=4
Create / Sims 2 / Sims 2 Tools.

Also, it may be easier for someone to help you if you attach your work to your thread for them to look at it. The problem could be with the BHAVs or some other resource in the .package file of your posebox. But without looking at it, at best people can only make wild guesses.

Do you mean to attach a picture of the animation box in game? :| I posted a screenshot of my work on Milkshape.

Thank you! :D This will be my first animation. :)

No. Post the actual animation box so that someone can download it and look at it in SimPE.

If you are having problems creating, you should be posting in an appropriate Create forum. You will be much less likely to get help in a discussion forum.

Perhaps a staff member will move this thread to the appropriate forum.
Unfortunately, I'm short on time, but I did I peak at your posebox. For what it's worth, in your Object Functions (OBJF), the init function is wrong. Select the "init" line and select its Action BHAV as 0x1002 (Function - Init). Hopefully someone will help you with this; I'm not really experienced in this area. Off the top of my head, I don't know of any poseboxes which have overlays from which I could look at the BHAV code to compare with yours.

I know but no one seems to go on there. :( This forum is more crowded so I thought I would get help faster on here.
maybesomethingdunno, thank you a lot! I'll see if that init number is the problem.

Please read the forum announcements and sticky posts before posting so that you know where to put your thread.
The Sims 2 discussion forum states quite clearly what types of threads are allowed.
I've moved this to modding discussion. In future please do not ignore forum guidelines just because you feel like it. Any future posts in the wrong place will be deleted.
For all who posted in this thread- in future you can use the 'report' button to alert a moderator to a thread being in the wrong place. :)

Sorry. I didn't even notice there was an Animation Help subforum.
Well, I did what maybesomethingdunno said and now I can put the box in the game without using "moveobjects on" cheat. But, the animation still doesn't work. :(
