How do I download store items FREE and CORRECTLY?!?

If you can't figure out the arc and decrap method of installing sims3packs, look up Compressorizor by jade. It's easier to use for newbies.

I don't even know how to use that to begin with. I need a step-by-step process on how to use ALL THESE PROGRAMS they have me downloading. If I don't know how to use the 1st one, downloading 3 more is gonna make this more confusing. Which one is needed, and which is used for which. They all have different instructions, and it's like I'm just walking in circles.
