Song remixes?!

I've got a Sim who is at the top of her singer career, and one day she started singing remixed songs... for example "New Glitz" didn't have that ugly acoustic guitar instrumental, and Wig Wig Wag was much more hip-hop-ish... I loved them, but after some time, they went back to normal. I don't know when and why this happens, does anyone know it?
Apparently, I'm not the only one with this feature (if I was, chances are I'd be The Chosen One, LOL!), as there are videos with Sims singing these remixes. For example, this is the remix of Wig Wig Wag:

Anyone else found this? Or know why it happens?

P.S.: Why is this sub-forum named "EP8: Showtime"? EP7 hasn't even come out yet, and we still need a 6th for those two to happen! :jest:

Yeah, I've noticed that around lvl 5 my singer had a new version of Oogie Fever, and she hasn't sung the old style since. Also one other song (can't remember which) was sung differently one time, but I haven't gotten that version anymore.
