What Gameplay Theme do you play?

What game play theme do you play most often? Or prefer to play?

Some choices include: Medieval sims / tribes & Islands / fantasy (eleves etc..) etc... or any others I haven't mentioned...


Preferred/enjoyed gameplay theme?
Preferred world you use for it?
Items you just can't live without/enhance your gameplay them experience?
Tips for anyone that might want to try a theme/ Suggestions


I'll start!

My gameplay them like/preferred? I had alot of fun with tribes on a small island once. Trying medieval now for the first time.
World used: I dont remember the world I used, it was basically just a tiny island with like 10 lots max, very pretty/tropical
Items that enhanced gameplay? Tribal clothing/ finding different versions of stoves and fridges helped alot too, oh and rabbit holes!
Tips/Suggestions/comments? ....Rabbit holes really help keep the theme, deleting all the building skins and creating my own version with rabbit holes made it more fun.
Oh and I silenced all the sims phones, nothing like hearing a phone ring when you're fishing for your dinner ;p

My gameplay them like/preferred? Modern day small English village, if that is a theme, then that's the theme I play :)

World used: Glendilough from GOS, but I did take it back to CAW and modify it a bit. Nothing huge, deleted some of the roads, terrain painted some spots and shifted the town from one end of the map to the other.

Items that enhanced gameplay? The hood, it's so important in TS3. If the hood fails you, the whole game is ruined. That's why it's worth all those hours to try and find the one just for you.

Tips/Suggestions/comments? Break out of the box EA created and make the game your own.

Oh and I silenced all the sims phones, nothing like hearing a phone ring when you're fishing for your dinner ;p lol, true, I silenced the phone for my criminals that are currently held in jail and the crazy people held in the asylum. Unfortunately you can't prevent un-controllable Sims from using the phone and calling people even if they no longer can answer them.
