Okay I have a sim who I want to be a rock star and live the whole rock star life. I mainly just want to have nice pictures of him and his band for the story I'm going to write about him.
The only problem is that, as many, many people have noted, the only bass available in the game is an upright bass. Which is totally not rock and roll.
Anyway, since I mainly want this for the purpose of pictures, I was thinking that I could take a regular electric guitar and reshape it to look like a bass guitar. It would still give guitar skill points and guitar sounds, but it would have the right animation and hand placement for an electric bass. Because if you take the upright bass and try to make it look like an electric bass, the animation is all wrong. It's a trade off, but it's worth it in my opinion.
Can anyone do this? Or tell me what I'd need to do in order to do it?
