Question about wall and floor textures (I don't know where else this goes)

It's just a simple question, but it's been so long since I modded for sims2 I haven't got a clue how to do this or where to look to find out.

I want to extract wall and floor textures from the base game to edit and make new ones. I assume I will need simpe, but beyond that I'm at a total loss... If anyone could please tell me I'd be eternally grateful.

Took some effort to get it running (had to move downloads,and delete the cache files), but thats exactly what I needed. Thank you.
