View Full Version : How long does it take to load the edit town? - Necessary

Okay,
I designed a community lot and I was finished 60 percent..
When I come back to edit town, the loading screen was taking forever to load up the edit town.

The song was still playing, the background was still playing the loading screen was taking forever to load up, AND even it takes forever to save a lot...

It doesn't do that all the time, but sometimes I does when I take long to design a building.

My specifications:

Intel® Core™ i3 processor 330M (2.13GHz, 1066MHz FSB, 3MB L2 Cache)
Genuine Windows® 7 Home Premium 64bit)
8GB DDR3 (1333MHz)
500GB (5400rpm) SATA
ATI Mobility Radeon™ HD 4530 (1530MB Total: 512MB discrete memory + 1018MB shared memory)
6 Cell Lithium-Ion battery

LOADING SCREEN: Never stops and takes about over 1 hour to load it up ( or never stops ) ...
SAVING SCREEN: Same as the loading screen...

This is my first time to have this trouble....
I installed The Sims 3 Base game, EP and SP 3 weeks ago (twice)

What's Edit mode? Do you mean CASt?

Not CASt....

Here I explain fully...

Here is for example.. On this photo you should see the button - edit town..
It loads up quickly and loads for 3 seconds on edit town view...
Click a lot, edit it and when I'm done back to edit town mode, the loading diamond takes forever to load up and never stops... It really annoys me a lot and I always loose my work!

Another i3 processor with issues! And do you know the HD 45xx card is red in our SysReq wiki page? I'm not surprised you're encountering all these problems, really.

This is nothing about my processor,
First time I purchased my game, I had no issues with freezinig loading screens and now this week, my loading screen freezes.. The loading diamond rotates and the circle rotates clockwise smoothly and the music still plays...

Maybe it's my saved file is buggered up... I think that's the problem...

There's nothing wrong with my graphics or my processor, they're all going fine. It's just a file is corrupted.
