I'm not sure why but I'm having some issues with downloading custom content
I Downloaded a couple of packagefiles, and mods. I have WinRar I read all I could from this site on installing and the basics but I still can't figure it out. I had given up but I figured I'd try one more time as a last resort.
Looking at the files I noticed that
.Package icons before their file names stay white instead of turning into the the "Sim" icon like my downloads use to do on my old laptop
If I click on them, my computer wants me to find something to open them with and opens my browser to some site.
My game is up to date. As many tutorials as I've looked up I can't figure out if I'm doing anything wrong. Anyone have any suggestions or know what I step I might be missing? or is this apart of the whole 1.33 patch thing (which is around the time I put my sims onto this laptop)
