What celeb sims have you downloaded ?

Kristen Stewart
Emmy Rossum
Christian Bale
Tom Hardy
Cam Gigandet

I'm not a great fan of these all of these actors; but I like their faces in my game to add to the neighborhood story and to create newish-looking sims.
Anyone else do this ?

None - I'm not too interested in having RL people in the game and don't think the game engine does a good job of simulating RL likenesses anyway. Oh wait, I did DL a Jack Thompson sim but that was so I could kill him as creatively as possible (and raise him as a zombie). But that was a long time ago. He's still limping round Little Carping though.

I'm often amazed at how well some celebrities have been simmified, but I don't have any interest in having them in my game. In addition to not really caring to have celebrities in my game, the require too much CC and look too different from my other sims. Seems like they'd breed funny.

@ Darby, You're right about the celeb sims 'breeding funny'. I give the celeb sims different names, skintones and 'tweak' their appearances a bit --- but my Bruce Willis sim ( called Gareth Fremen ) paired with another sim (fake Bella) produced awful babies.

Yeah, in addition to the custom skins, eyes, and such, having to use the sliders for the facial features makes it unlikely they'll find sims with compatible features.

Now that I think about it, breeding extreme celebrities to regular sims might be fun for the LOLZ. :lol:

I had Buffy for a while, but I played her as another character who shared some of the same characteristics as Buffy. I've downloaded one of the Dr. Whos, but again, I didn't play him as Dr. Who; I just liked his clothes and looks. I downloaded Barack and Michelle Obama and was planning on playing them to the top of the political career and have the two girls, but something happened to my computer and I abandoned that. I may come back to that idea some time.

I saw some using the whole cast of Buffy , with Willow and Tara and Dawn . It was fascinating to watch peoples put them in their games and make them say stuff lol

I have no idea where they got the whole cast inside the SIms 2. I personally...only tried once and I added Sephiroth from FF7 . Only his hair...somebody did his hair here on MTS 2...and I wanted to see what it look like .

Well it looked like a wig once inside the game...lol on the picture they are looked gorgoeus....but not inside the game .

I probably forgot how to do it right...but it was a fun try :bunny:

I have Mandy Moore, the gossip girl cast, and the 4 charmed girls that I downloaded off the exchange years ago. then about 50+ and counting sims from other people who aren't celebrities. But I never play them as themselves usually I just use them for the faces and then give them new everything else. And really the only thing you need to do is just get the sims package inside using the clean installer. I never add in anything they're packaged with besides hair (which is then subfoldered into a downloaded extras folder) then cloned in BS, give them maxis hair and then delete the downloaded hair etc that I no longer need that came with them. If i'm really unsure of what they might have with kids I try out a partner sim in Cas and go face template by face template and give them a kid to see how it would go. With that kind of information already at hand, when they do have extreme fugly kids I already know which sections will need facial surgery.

I confess to having as many Sims from Xena as I can find on line that are not photo-skinned. I also have Johnny Depp/Jack Sparrow running around too. However, they're all townies with the exception of Gabrielle who fell hard and fast for one of my male Sims, right now I'm trying to decide whether to let her age up or not....

None, I find it a little unnerving to play Sims that resemble Real Life people. I don't have a Sim self either, or similar..

However, most of my Sims have so much background story, that they might as well be real people ^_^

I downloaded all the Dr. Who's from here, but I don't have the heart to put them in the game. Living in a real house is a "horrifying" thought to the good Doctor!

Rihanna, Barack Obama, Sheldon & Leonard from Big Bang Theory, Debbie Harry of Blondie, Catherine of CSI Vegas, Lady Gaga whom I de-aged & sent to university. I downloaded a Salma Hayek from somewhere, but her head was improperly attached to her body ... when she took a shower her head floated above where her body was supposed to be!

It would break the flow of the unreal story to have real life celebrities there. But I have a book character Anita Blake, downloaded because of my hood full of vampires. I still didn't use her as intended, though, she's just walking around as a townie, and I imagine that she is a spy who's watching how the local vampires behave. For those who don't know her, she's a vampire executioner.

I planned to use her in the hood story once the revolt happens (the power over the town is in vampire hands at the moment). But lately my sims have been doing so well financially that it's beyond belief, and I'm not sure that the revolt will have a reason to happen when it's sheduled. Anita will have to walk around as a spy some more!

None, for pretty much the same reasons others have already mentioned. Actually I don't download any Sims celebrity or not as I make all my own and prefer to. I am frequently amazed at how close in resemblance some creators can get Sims to celebrities though, almost unnerving. I do think they use a lot of overlays and tricks so that if you are into genetics those traits are not necessarily going to be passed on.

I think I have the same Salma Hayek. She needs the Rio skin mesh not to lose her body when nekkid.

I downloaded Kiefer Sutherland's character from Lost Boys a couple of years ago. xD I removed him fairly quickly since he was all glitched. But that was probably due to my novice incapabilities of downloading and properly installing custom content, I didn't know what the hell a mesh was. P:

It worked with TS1 because, of course, the faces didn't move. It was like having a portrait of said sim walking round your hood. The problem with TS2, as far as I can see, is just that. As soon as the sim starts to move, the illusion is broken.

I don't know if movie characters are in your seleb. range but I have (among lots of others)
the terminators (both T101 and the TX) the avatar Jake sully and his woman neytiri ,dobby the house elf and some of the jedi/sith knights (and the boy anakin), doc manhattan ,and thor (the roswell grey) from stargate (the series)

* strange thing about dobby is, I always thought the elf was a male..... this sim is a female

and the real life selebs. allison hannigan (willow in buffy the vampire slayer), david duchovny(fox mulder) & gillian anderson(dana scully) from the X-FILES .
but these 3 (and the jedi knights) still need to be installed for use (and the last 2 will then get the name they are better known by)
