Uninstalling and reinstalling

So, I need to uninstall my games and reinstall. I want to save my saved games, so I'll be creating back ups, but my question is...

Do I have to uninstall the games in order of the install? Or does it really matter?

And upon install, should I update each game individually before installing the next, or can I just install everything and then update/patch?

It doesn't really matter what order you uninstall, although you'll probably get a message about EPs not working if you uninstall the basegame first.

I would patch and test each game before installing the next EP, that way you'll know things are going okay.
