View Full Version : The Sims 3 Torture Thread

The "OMG WTF ARE YOU DOING?!" Thread inspired me to make this.
Anyway, as we all know, Sims are borderline imbeciles and as such, we just can`t resist torturing them.
So, this is a thread for all you MTS users out there to post exactly how they hurt, mistreat, and of course, torture their lovingly crafted Sims.
Why, I hear you ask?
So I, along with many others, may laugh at the creative diabolical plots you concoct to make EA miserable... (And by "creative", I most certainly do NOT mean drowning, starvation, electrocution etc.)
Anyways, you may commence killing now.
Kehehehe!

I always keep remains on my active lot. The ghosts creep out / annoy my Sims, which is funny to watch.
I also like turning one family member into a vampire and having them creep out the other family members. Not *exactly* torture, but I find it hilarious.
Oh. I force Technophobe Sims to use computers, televisions, etc. And Hydrophobic Sims? They visit the Community Pool every day ;)

I'm not really fond of torturing sims and watching them suffer. If I need a hounted house, I just lock some sims in a room and wait for them to die, but it's not "pleasant" or "fun" watching this. I'd better torture my boytoy a bit and hear him scream and moan, hehe :)
Anyway, I like playing stories, and sometimes watching my sims struggle against harsh circumstances and win. For example, I created a poor family: a couple with two teenage children (a boy and a girl), and the wife's old mother. They were poor, and once both parents died, the granny was left with 2 children to take care of, but she was so moody, grunpy, and deeply in grief, that she spent all her time on the graveyard. The guy was also depressed and isolated himself from his peers and his family. He got bad grades, had almost no friends, did chores rarely, but played guitar in his room and learned to do it well. He started dressing as a goth, too, and dreamed of creating his band one day.
The girl was the strongest of them all, she was upset, but took control over herself and undertook the responsibility for the household. She did chores, worked part time, and studied well. She wanted to become a doctor. Poor thing just had no fun at all!
She also was angry with her brother for not helping her, and often insulted him, thei relationships were teriible.
Then, they grew up, she started a medical career, and the guy gathered a band. The sister finally started respecting him, when she found out that por guy had talent, too. Both got very successful. I just liked to put them thrhough hardships as teenagers, because this added depth to them, and made me more attached to them. I love playing like this. I like creating personal dramas to provide interesting background for my characters.
Another "torture": my actress sim is very shy, and has a Loner trait, too. She's talented, but whenever it comes to communicating with her fans, or any other strangers, she feels terribly uncomfortable. However, I make her do that again and again, sending her to overcrowded places and making her get caught by paparazzi who hunt her everywhere. And she has bad moodlets all the time.

oh oh, i've got a good one. once my friend started dating a guy that none of us liked. for fun, i made my friend and her boyfriend in the sims 1 and i made them have as many children as the game would allow. not long after, they ended up breaking up (because he was a jerk!) so in the game i built a wall around him and proceeded to watch him slowly die. i realize now that this story doesn't really sound like a "good one" as i said, but it's was just funny because i took a bunch of pictures through the dying process and documented it and added a bunch of hilarious commentary to the pictures. it's fun to go back and play TS1 and look at the pictures for a good laugh ;)

Once (TS2), I made a sim of a girl I REALLY "dislike" in real life. I didn't use any money cheats so she had a very small shack for a house, half of which was not covered by a roof and had a fence instead of real walls. She was always complaining of no privacy, getting sick from weather exposure, starving, peeing herself, making plenty of enemies, and all of those good simmie things. She died pretty quickly (just as I was starting to feel a little guilty and considering giving her real walls), so that little experiment was short-lived, but I felt it was fate that ended it when it did.

I don't seem to torture ts3 sims as much as i did ts2 sims but i used to build a death house with a single sim then when someone at work made me mad i would make a sim of them, add them to the death house, then torture and eventually kill them or let them starve to death. The sword i got from here on mts came in very handy if my sim wouldn't die fast enough.

I made a basement with no entrance and put a visiting sim in there and waited for him to starve but it never happened. So I filled the basement with stuff and teleported an inventor down there to explode it all. After hours of exploding and fires no one had died so I gave up. It's no fun torturing sims in TS3.

I had one character lock his niece in his basement. She could feasibly live down there (bathroom, fridge, table, bed, tv), but her uncle also had a ton of kids, so she was stuck with three babies in her tiny bunker and she got no sleep. I eventually released her out of the good of my heart.

I had no trouble torturing sims in TS1. I used to have them buy fireworks and set them off in their house. I would trap them between chairs, steal their pool ladders - you name it. But I remember the first time I killed a sim in TS2 (The townie Abjiheet) I felt terrible for some reason. I almost killed the slob in TS2 by drowning her, but she started getting thought bubbles about her newborn baby while she was drowning and I couldn't do it. I think the sims in TS2 felt more alive to me and while the TS1 sims seemed hilarious while they suffered, the TS2 sims looked like they were actually suffering. So I couldn't kill the sims in TS2 or TS3.

I've never really "tortured" a sim.
However, back in The Sims: Bustin' Out, I really liked Mom's house and I wanted it for myself. So, I built her a little shack in the backyard where she can live, while I stayed in the main house. I gave her some essentials like a bed and a toilet, but she never used them. She would just pee on the floor, mop it up, and fall asleep in the same little spot. It was kind of gross xD

Sometimes, when the paparazzi get a little too personal with my celeb sims (taking pics of them in their yard while they garden) I age them up until they die. TAKE THAT!!!

Making Sims feel bad makes me feel bad. Once I did wall up Thornton Wolff. But he had books and a laptop in his inventory, so he was into what he was into, and he didn't complain except about it being time to go to work. After days and days, I got bored and un-walled him. I doubt Morgana even noticed he'd been gone.

I was trying to get one of my annoying teen sims to die in a fire but he just wouldn't, so I starved him to death. Another one I starved to death was this Elder townie sim who kept getting romantically involved with my young male sims (single and attached, didn't matter) despite there being sims in her own age range. I got really tired of changing households and finding yet another male sim romantically involved with her so I invited her over and walled her in. I almost felt bad and was going to let her out but I didn't know how many days she had left to live (I play epic life spans and she was on like day 1840) and I thought the better of it and let her starve.
I haven't starved anybody else to death since then but I do like to start overcrowded poor households. I usually have 1 or 2 get a real job, a couple others part time and other ones just sit at home on their butts all day. I also make sure that there's personality conflicts between them. I spend the starter funds or paltry wages on stupid upgrades so there's only 1 toilet and shower between 8 sims, not enough or really cheap beds, etc. I eventually get them established but it takes a while. When that comes I start finding partners for them and they either move out or move the new partner in (provided there's space). I've always loved working with big crazy stressful households.

I hate my legacy husband (as you can see on my legacy) and there's a lot of times I've been tempted to just hit him with a comet. But then that would leave the baby's mom with one parent down, and that's cruel. Isn't it?

My first sim I ever tortured was Laslo Curious in TS2 I had just got the game and walled him in to see what would happen. He screamed, cried and pissed himself until he finally died of starvation. I must admit I was taken aback it seemed like I tortured a living to death. I was suprised that I actually felt bad about it. His brothers cried like crazy for him I wasn't really expecting that. I felt a little dark. That is until I tortured another one before I knew it I was torturing them left and right I was using cheats and mods and downloading stuff like crazy I was an evil sadistic god I could not stop. I had so many ways of torturing them aside from the usual fire electrocution etc. I found myself getting really sick and elaborate. I would set them up in relationships and have children only to kill their spouse in front of them. I downloaded a grill that can cook babies and had the baby sitter make a wonderful meal of baby meat for the parents. I had torture houses where there would be one sim I would never hurt or kill and they would invite people over. The front yard would be littered with fenced in starving half asleep sims with only enough room to stand in their own piss with weeds growing out of it. I downloaded the electric chair and leave it in plane site they would sit in on their own and fizzzt! I would use cheats to make one sim have baby after baby one after the other then watch his/her needs go hell taking care of them all. I'd wait until those same babies grew up a little and drown them all in a pool while the parent sat poolside. The cowplant was one of my favorites. I had a no social worker hack that allowed me to put a baby in a four square room and I just made sure he never starved he grew up in that little cage to a full adult when I let him out all he would do was put a lampshade on his head and act like an idiot he wouldn't even use the bathroom just let go in his pants. I put him out of his misery with a meteor.
Sims 3 isn't the same torture wise but I've been finding interesting ways. I have one neighborhood that I closed down the pool, school, library and beach they just stand there like idiots wanting to get in. And there is the deep fryer boy I don't even have to try with that thing. I take away beds and toilets so they can never sleep I've removed benches all over the nieghborhood. I love killing the little pixelated bastards ha ha

I haven't really tortured many of my Sims because I really feel sorry for them, lol. But I use the voodoo doll from the store on annoying paparazzi and I'm looking forward to getting my hands on the UFO from seasons... The Alien invasion is just too hilarious, hehe.

Family: Belle (Bridgeport)
Crime: Being snooty in the sight of the LORD
Punishment: the LORD took their expensive cars and delivered them into the hands of the poor, then set fire to their toilet
Family: Hart (SV)
Crime: Gus ruined a wedding video by skinny dipping and distracting the guests
Punishment: the LORD hardened the hearts of the guests against him, causing them to attack. So it was that they fought Gus 6 times, so it was that they beat his crazy ass down 6 times for the amusement of the wedding party
Family: Belle (Bridgeport)
Crime: Lola wearing abominable sunglasses before the LORD
Punishment: the LORD sent a meteor that would smite her, but the LORD had miscalculated, such that Kai Lenko was smote in her stead. Yet her heart was put asunder for the error and when she went to relieve her bladder, she could not, for the toilet was on fire. And the LORD was pleased
Family: Belle (Bridgeport)
Crime: Existing
Punishment: the LORD took from them the strength to hold their water, such that they became disgraced thricefold for bladder failure in sight of the people of Bridgeport. And the LORD placed their weight sliders farthest to the right and made them slovenly in the sight of the people of Bridgeport. And the LORD saw how the people of Bridgeport booed them as they walked and the LORD was pleased.
Later, he set fire to their toilet, just for kicks.

The one time I tried to torture a sims 3 sim it was a failure. I wanted to burn someone alive but instead since they had the brave trait they starved to death. Not very amusing.

I make movies, so my sims are pampered as hell. No work, lots of money, good pay.
Well, until one decides to drop dead behind the trailers ALL ON HIS OWN I KNOW NOTHING.

I find it impossible to drown sims in TS3, they'll just crawl out of the pool without a ladder. They seem harder to kill.. . .. you can light up a whole room and they wont catch on fire, but when an accidental fire occurs, POOF they're up in smoke.

I don't really like aging up people because they'd throw a personal birthday party, complete with confetti and party horn, in my porch.
But I once created a Sim with loser/unlucky trait whom I repeatedly killed just so her housemate can try to interact with the Grim Reaper.

I don't like torturing anyone, not even sims. I'm too kind really :bunny:
I only playtest, then I frequently run into:
- staircases not working, so they can't go to sleep, or can't go anywhere but the landing.
- inaccessable fridges, they starve.
- unroutable houses, so they stand outside with no food, bed or fun.
- doors gone, because I don't have them installed anymore. Sims stuck inside or outside depending on what they did last time.
This all happens while I'm busy doing something building related.

I had my sims throw a house party, inviting all of their ugliest townie friends. They'd call all the guests into the Hotdog Grilling Room, a room full of about 8 outdoor grills and fridges, then my sims would each cook hotdogs and stop while the hotdogs are cooking on the grill. When all the grills had hotdogs, my sims left the room and locked all the guests in.
Once the grills caught fire, it was a game of survival. For some reason, the lucky survivors had no problems at all about being invited back to future hotdog fire survival parties.
I had to make sure not to invite any "Brave" sims over, because those are smart enough to realize they can pull fire extinguishers out their ass and ruin the fun.

I, personally don't torture my sims, life is sweet for them. However my niece likes to torture her sims, such as sending the kids to look under the bed for monsters all night long and they never go to bed, or playing her sims until the hunger level is near death. Her sims die a lot and she is always asking me to save them, bring them back to life. Sometimes I wonder if I am in a conspiracy with her... should I even try to save her sims.

In my current Legacy it's family tradition to sacrifice the husband after the heir gets pregnant. The deed takes place in the dark of night when the moon is full and the husbands are overcome with the urge to transmute apples into gold using the Philosophers Stone until it backfires and makes a 50k simoleon statue out of them, which then set up in the place where the portrait of the wife will be painted by one of his daughters before the wife ages up to elder. Therefore they look forever young next to one another in the secret room in the basement of the legacy home.
This of course has left every heir to raise the next generation of twin girls all by herself (watermelons and kids music being pumped into her system at all times), while in mourning. Torturous in it's own way.

This is actually a really creative way to play, I'm doing something similar with the Mayfair witch legacy I'm doing. But I never thought about killing the husbands...I could have Lasher kill the husbands...hmmm interesting

I like your pit ButchSims :)
I locked a "Have baby" want for Bella Goth even though I had no intension on giving her more babies. In the end she had 3 wants for babies, Have a baby, have a second child, have a child with Mortimer. It just made me happy seeing her agonizing about a child so much and knowing she will never have it.
I have sims in my asylumn, it's a locked wing in the same community lot as the hospital. I have six patiences there + three other crazy sims who will be transferred there on the next few rounds. The current doctor, when he entered the asylum had a want to increase his assassination skill. But then he got really depresses and remorseful. By the end of the round, after he had got out of his depression, I thought, ok, he was a one kill man. But then, just as I was exiting the house to switch households, he got the want to increase his assassination skill.
